This is more of a short story: 

"It's about to start" I heard being said all around me.
I took my seat, and noticed that I'm alone and hearing things.
The lights went out, and the beginning credits roll by.
It's dull and boring, yet I watch still.

The main storyline is about a girl having a normal routine, but suddenly she shuts down one day.
She checks out of reality and feels nothing.
Not a care she gives, or worries about anything, she just watches as her body goes through the motions.
She walks through the lunch line, yet she doesn't feel her legs moving, not even her arms, feet, or hands.
I'm numb, watching my life in my own private little bland movie theater.
