storybooks & truemagic

immortal ink writes a story that stays

story books of fantasy and midnight parades

down the rabbit hole, second star to the right

i stay in my room reading stories all night

listen for faeries while you step through the wood

looking for magic, bad spells and good

candy houses make good shelter a treat

just don't let the witch make an oven of your seat

all my life i was wishing for pixie dust

when all i ever got was wanderlust

if magic is true won't you show it to me?

my wishes would come true, every one of the three

a treasure chest of pirate's gold

lurks beneath the lone mountain, cold

the sea full of mermaids that lure you away

into the depths, sir, i bid you good day

find the magic worth seeing, the birds in the trees

the rainbows above, rather than magic beans

the love of the ocean is purest of all

magic comes in nature, can you hear it's mystic call?
