"You ok?" Jack asked wrapping his arm around my waist
"I'll survive." I giggled
"When do you think they'll be back?" He asked popping a grape in his mouth. I shrugged
"I hope soon." I said
He smirked and tilted his head
"And why is that?" He asked caressing my cheek. I bit my lip.
"Because I'm getting bored of my fiancé." I joked. He pouted
"That's so mean babe." He said pecking my lips.
"We're home!" James yelled running into the kitchen and jumping up and down. I chuckled
"Hi baby." I said picking him up. I flinched
"You ok Awex?" He asked
"I'm fine." I smiled and nodded
Jack muffled a laugh. Making me glare at him and hit his chest.
"Hey kids." My mom said walking in
"Hey mom." I smiled at her
"What did you guys do while we were gone?" She asked opening the fridge
"Watched movies." I quickly replied. She nodded
"You guys should've came." Summer said walking in
"If she knew." Jack whispered in my ear. My eyes went wide
"What'd you tell my sister, huh Jack?" Daniel teased him
"That I love her." Jack shrugged like nothing
"Then why don't you tell the whole world not just her?" He asked
"Because she is my world." Jack smirked. I blushed and looked down
"Smooth." Aaron nodded
"Very." Summer chuckled
"Not really." I joked. Jack playfully glared at me. I smiled and kissed his cheek.
"I really don't want you guys to leave." I whined hugging James tighter. He squealed and kissed my cheek
"Me eider." He pouted
"You all did that when you were smaller." My mom said grabbing him
"Did it work?" I asked
"Not always." She shook her head
"Who was the cutest baby?" Summer asked. I chuckled and leaned on Jack
"Definitely Alex, she was a really chubby baby." My mom giggled
"Awww." Jack cooed in my ear
"That was baby fat mother." I pouted
"Bwaby fat!" James yelled pointing at his belly. We all laughed at him
"But I'm cuter wight mom?" James asked her
"Of course." She nodded
"Hey!" Me, Summer and Daniel yelled in sync. She chuckled
"You're all just jwealous." James said crossing his arms
"Am not." I defended
"Are so!" He yelled
"Nu Uh!" I yelled back
"Enough babies." My mom said looking at us
"I am not a baby." I huffed
"Who understands you?" Jack laughed
"Gee thanks for defending me, fiancé." I said. He smirked
"I'll always defend you, my love." He said kissing my cheek. I smiled
"You guys are too cute." My mom smiled. Jack chuckled
"So what did do you guys leave?" Jack asked them.
"In two hours." Madison said walking in with the girls
"I'm gonna miss New York." Maddy huffed
"Me too." Jeannie nodded
"You can visit whenever you want." I smiled at them
"We'll have to take you up on that." Aaron said. I chuckled
"Alright." I nodded
"Mommy I'm tired." James said rubbing his eyes
"Um Alex?" Maddy asked I looked at her and nodded
"Can we talk to you? Alone?" Aaron asked. I raised a brow and looked at Jack. He shrugged
"Yeah, ok." I nodded
"I'll be back." I said to Jack. He pecked my lips and nodded. We walked out to the hallway. They looked really nervous. But why?
"What's up?" I asked them
"You're one of my best friends." Maddy said. I nodded
"And you're one of mine." Aaron said. I nodded again.
They looked at each other before speaking up.
"We're dating." They said in sync. I raised a brow
"It's pretty obvious." I chuckled
"What? How?" Maddy asked
"Aaron looks at you with googly eyes." I laughed
"I do not." He huffed
"So you're ok with it?" Maddy asked as she hit his chest.
"Why wouldn't I? Are you guys happy?" I asked. They both smiled and nodded.
"Then I'm happy for you guys, you deserve to be happy." I said to them
"We're just sorry we didn't tell you sooner, love." Aaron said
I waved him off and nodded.
"It's fine, but I want to be the first one invited to your wedding." I smirked. They both blushed
"Shut up." Maddy mumbled
"We should be saying that to you Mrs. Future Johnson." Aaron teased
"Not just yet." I laughed
"Let's go inside." I said opening the door and walking in.
"Come with me." Jack said pulling me to my room.
"Ok weirdo?" I asked as I followed him well I had no choice.
"Jack." I giggled as we walked in and he locked the door.
"I'm kinda regretting having all these people over." He mumbled resting his forehead on mine. I smiled and cupped his cheeks.
"Why?" I asked him.
"Well for one, there's a bed right behind us." He said looking back. He looked back at me and smirked. I blushed and looked down.
"What's your point?" I whispered.
"You know what I mean." He huffed.
"Well too bad." I bopped his nose.
"Mhmm." He nodded and pinned me to the wall.
"I love you." He said leaning in and kissing me softly. I smiled and kissed him back.
I ran my hands through his hair and tugged on it softly. He groaned as his grip on me tightened. When we had our intimate moment I was afraid he was gonna leave me. I don't know why but I just did. I know Jack isn't that type of guy but I couldn't help it. I love him and the mere thought of loosing him scares me beyond explanation.
"I love you too." I breathed out as we pulled away. He smiled.
"Seventh grade, I was trying to learn basketball and you taught me." I said he raised a brow
"That's when I truly fell in love with you." I explained. His lips tugged up
"Oh." He chuckled and blushed.
"I remember when you would wrap your arms around me when you were teaching me how to dribble properly." I said grabbing his hands and wrapping them my waist as I turned my back towards him.
"I taught you not to travel." He mumbled. I smiled at the memory.
~~Flashback~~
"No Alex." Jack laughed shaking his head. I groaned.
"You can't just carry the ball in your hands, that's called traveling." He explained to me.
"Basketball makes no sense." I said passing him the ball. He chuckled
"Yes it does, when you know how to play." He said walking over to me and tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. I smiled at him.
"I can teach you if you want?" He suggested.
"I'd like that." I nodded. He smiled
"First, dribbling." He said walking behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Grab the ball." He said handing it to me. I did as told.
"You can dribble it with your left hand, your right hand or both." He explained as he grabbed my hand and helped me dribble it.
As the ball dropped on the floor he moved my hand so I could hit it. It went back down and came back. He did the same thing again.
"It's that easy." He whispered.
"Yeah, but I still can't play good." I mumbled. He chuckled and pulled away. I missed his warmth already.
"I believe in you, the question is do you believe in yourself?" He asked passing me the ball. I sighed and faced the net.
I dribbled the ball a couple of times before lifting it up and aiming it at the net. I threw it but it missed. I sighed and walked over to the ball.
"That was close." Jack smiled at me.
"I still didn't make it." I whined.
"Don't give up Alex, who knows. Maybe when we're older you'll even be better than me." He shrugged
"You think so?" I asked. He smiled.
"Yeah, yeah I do." He nodded
"Now, traveling." He said grabbing the ball from me.
"When you're running with the ball you can't stop dribbling, other wise your out." He explained as he walked around me and made sure to dribble the ball. He threw it under his foot and dribbled it again.
"Show off." I mumbled crossing my arms. He laughed.
"Jealous?" He teased.
"When I learn how to play better, we'll see who's jealous." I said trying to take the ball away from him but he moved it away making me miss.
"Come on Alex, try to take the ball away from me." He laughed running towards the net and shooting it making it go in perfectly.
"Swish!" Jack cheered. I laughed and rolled my eyes at him.
~~End Of Flashback~~
"You looked so cute when you couldn't get it in the net." He cooed
"Shut up." I mumbled
"But hey, you're better than me know so I think I did a pretty good job." He said kissing my cheek. I smiled and nodded
"Yeah you did." I whispered
"I had no idea you fell in love with me at that time." He laughed
"And I had no idea you fell in love with me in sixth grade till yesterday." I said to him
"Well what's there not to love about you?" He asked
"I see no flaws." He whispered
I smiled and played with my fingers. Are these butterflies ever gonna go away? Since seventh grade I've been getting them, every time he looks at me or compliments me. He has such a big affect on me and I don't know how to make it stop, I don't even know if I want it to. He makes me feel all giddy and happy. Who ever thought we would be engaged?
I sure as hell didn't. What he sees in me I'll never know. But I'm happy he loves me, so much that he even wants to marry me.
"I love you." He said kissing my jawline as his grip on my waist tightened even more and he pulled me closer to him. I love this, being in his arms it makes me feel so safe.
"I love you too." I whispered
"Penny for your thoughts?" He mumbled. I shook my head
"I'm just really happy." I said intertwining my hands with his. He smiled.
"Do I have something to do with this happiness?" He cooed. I giggled
"Indeed, a big part actually." I nodded
"I'm so honored." He grinned.
"Guys?" Daniel asked walking in. He looked at us and smiled.
"As much as cute this is, we're leaving." He informed us. I looked at my watch to see it was 2:57PM and they have to board at 3:30
"That was fast." I frowned. He sighed and nodded. I pulled away from Jack and embraced Daniel in a hug.
"I'll call when I get to my dorm." He assured. Since Daniel has to go back to college he's gonna take another flight but it's leaving at the same time as everyone else's.
"You better." I chuckled sadly.
"Hey, don't cry or you're gonna have to deal with me." He said wiping away my tears. I nodded.
"It's not like we're not gonna see each other again, I'll Skype you ok? Just don't cry." He begged
"Ok." I cracked a smile and nodded.
"Come on, so you can say your goodbyes to everyone." He said pulling me out of the room. I chuckled and turned around to see Jack followed us. He looked at me and winked. I shook my head and turned back around.
"I hate this part." Jeannie whined
"Me too." I nodded embracing her in a hug.
"I can't wait for your wedding." Maddy said she and Summer joined the hug. I chuckled.
"Trust me, I can't either." I said making her squeal
"We can hear you girls yanno?" Jack asked in a amused tone
"Hush it Johnson." I said turning to look at him. He smirked
"Ok Johnson." He said fake zipping his lips. I blushed and faced the girls.
"You're both crazy for each other." Jeannie laughed
"True!" Jack yelled as we pulled away
"What happened to you shutting up?" I asked him.
"I have the key." He shrugged. I rolled my eyes.
"You have a key too!" James said pointing at the key necklace around my neck. I laughed and picked him up
"Yea, I do." I said kissing his cheek.
As we said our goodbyes to everyone I couldn't help but think what it would be like if my dad was here. I know he would be happy that me and Jack are engaged but I also know he would get very over protective and would want to take me with him just so he can prove to Jack that I'll always be his little girl. I smiled at the thought.
"You'll see them again princess." Jack whispered in my ear as the door closed. I nodded
"Now let's get to bed, it's been a long day." He said pulling me over to my room. I nodded.
"Baby." He said caressing my cheek. He frowned
"What's wrong?" He asked
"I just miss him." I sighed
"Wherever he is, I'm sure that he's proud of the woman you've become, and he's probably jealous of me cause I'm taking his daughter away." He teased. I giggled and shook my head.
"Come on." I said closing the door and laying down on the bed.
He chuckled and reached over to the lamp before turning it off.
"I love you." He said kissing my forehead and pulling me closer to him
"I love you too." I mumbled closing my eyes.
"Goodnight princess." He said
"Goodnight Jay." I whispered before drifting off to deep sleep.

I don't know how I feel about this chapter😕 but any who, my mom is coming back from her hometown and I've missed her so much like you have no idea. A week without her was so hard😂 oh and my sister is coming back too😤
