Everybody knew her name
And they thought that they knew her
But they didn't
Because she hid something
A secret
That no one ever tried to find out
Every night she cries
And pounds her fist on the floor
Thinking that everything
That everyone
Made a her a puppet doll
Every day she goes to school
Smiles and laughs with all her friends
Raises her hands in every question
And acts like everything is okay
Even though it's not
Everybody thought she was perfect
And every girl wished to be her
They all thought she was flawless
When in reality she was a blur
Every day at school
She was this happy and perfect girl
But every night in her room
She wished she didn't liv
Because no one truly ever knew her
And no one ever dared to know
