Ok so I really love this chapter and you'll see why nearer the end! Thus chapter and the next chapter are über important because...well I won't say or it will give it away but hey are über über important okay? Sky's POV
I get out of the shower and get dressed in a short, flowy, lilac dress that had spaghetti straps than crossed and went round my neck. I out on a cream, waterfall cardigan that was the same length as the dress as it looked cold today. I slip on some nude heels. I curl my hair, like Eleanor showed me. I apply some bb cream and some loose powder. I put some eyeliner on my lashlines and a bit of mascara, to make my lashes voluminous.
I walk downstairs and yawn as I look out the window. I feel bad about being so bitchy to Harry. I shouldn't have taken it so personally. He just had a word slip! I'm just cranky! I'm going to go apologize!
'Harry?' I call
No response
'Harry? I'm sorry about before. Harry?'
Nothing
'Harrrryyyyy?'
Zilch
'Harry?!'
Nada
He walks through the front door and hangs up his coat
'Harry!' I say smiling
'Hey' he says nervously
'I'm sorry' I say walking over to him 'I was cranky and I just snapped at you!'
'No I'm sorry. There was loads of things I could have said.' he says smiling widely at me
I grin and wrap my arms around his neck. He snakes his around my waist
'I love you' he whispers
My grin widens and I kiss him.
'I love you too' I mumble gently
He grins and takes my hand, leading me into the sitting room.
'Let's play a game!' he says cheekily
I raise my eyebrows
'Ok?'
'Good! Stay here two seconds!' he says grinning
I wait for a minute or two as he runs off somewhere in the bedroom.
He runs back a few minutes later holding a video recorder
'What are you doing?' I ask laughing at him
'Were going on a treasure hunt!' he says
'Are we?' I ask
'We are' he says, handing me a piece of paper
I take it and open it
'Read it out loud!' Harry instructs
I look at his serious face and burst into a fit of giggles
'Seriousness is key Skylar!' he says
I giggle harder and he starts laughing as I read the note
'You'll find the next clue in the case of a DVD, that always reminds you of me' I read, trying to subside my giggles
Harry looks at me expectantly
'Dumbo' I say
'Hey!' he says
'No stupid! I mean Dumbo reminds me of you! It was the first movie we ever watched together!' I say
He smiles slyly
'You remembered!!' I gush grinning as I run over to the DVD cabinet, Harry following close behind
I grab Dumbo and open it, a piece of paper falling out.
I look up at the camera and grin.
I still don't know why he's recording this but anyways!
I open the note and read it aloud,
'Remember your first heartbreak?
And after that what did we make?'
I look up at his grinning face,
'You kept them all this time?' I ask him
'Course!'
'Awww!' I gush running to our room.
I reach under our bed and pull out our box of memories. Inside it is the hate note we wrote to him.
'I can't believe you kept it! We were twelve!' I say giggling as a tear slipped down my cheek
He shrugs and I open it. A few words were highlighted
'Swing, Park, Mud' I say
I grin at him
'I remember that!' I say wiping my tear away
'Let's go then!' he says
We get into my car, me driving, Harry recording.
We drive to the park we used to go to as kids and I see the slide covered in mud.
I look at Harry and laugh
'It looked exactly like this six years ago when we threw him down it!' I say giggling
'Find the note!' Harry says laughing
'I'm the mud?' I ask wrinkling up my nose
'That's what the note said!' he says
'Gross!' I say as I rummage through the mud looking for the note, after five minutes I still haven't found it.
'Oh I forgot! I didn't put it in the mud because I didn't want you to have to get dirty!' he says grinning at me
I shake my head and throw some mud at him. It lands right on his forehead and I giggle.
'Real mature Sky, real mature' he mutters handing me the note
I collapse into giggles at the sight of him, mud dripping down his face as I read the note
'I still remember our first date,
At the restaurant run by Mary Kate' I read out
He grins at me
'I wouldn't call it a restaurant!' I reply laughing as we walk five minutes up the road to the donut shop. The woman at the desk sees me and hands me a wipe amd a vanilla donut with a piece of paper wrapped around it.
I clean my hands and read the note, munching on the donut happily
'Back home the hunt will continue,
You'll find something taped to the sitting room window'
We drive home, Harry still videoing
We walk inside and I see a note taped on the window
'Go to the place that reflects your face' I read
'Simple and to the point! I like it Styles' I say laughing and heading to our bedroom mirror to find a note taped to it
' Remember our song and first dance
If you search, you might find by chance
A sweet serenade
Where music is played
To prepare for a night of romance'
Harry grins at me and I walk over to the radio. Nothing. I try opening the CD compartment, only to see a note taped to the inside.
I take it out and read it,
' Tonight, the whole world is ours, it's true
A dreamland created for just me and you
There will be something sweet
Where you find food to eat
As we savor time long overdue'
I laugh and walk over to the fridge, opening it.
On the egg box is a note.
I get it and read it again,
'It's time now to turn up the heat,
Your search is now one clue from being complete'
I smile at him and walk over to the oven, closing the fridge
I look at him quizzically as he sets the recorder down so its pointed at us. I open the oven and see a bag of Chinese.
'Romantic!' I say giggling
'Look inside' he says smiling
I open the bag to see a single fortune cookie
I look up at him confused
'Is this my dinner?' I ask
'Nope. Hopefully, we'll be celebrating out' he says
I open the cookie and see.....a ring? And a note?
Harry gets down on one knee and holds the ring.
'Read the note' he whispers
I open it and read it,
'Will you marry me?' I read
I gasp and smile at him, tears forming in my eyes
'Skylar Clears, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?' he asks
Oh My Good God!!!!!

Ok so I was thinking about writing a story using characters from loads of different books!! So if you've read a story and you really liked the character in it and you read another story and you really liked a character in it and you think they'd be great in a story together, tell me! I'll ask the author if I could use their character, giving them full copyright and credit of it of course and incorporate all these characters into one big story! Yes, No?
