After I heard that,I became silent and waited for him to explain about it further.He looked at me with a worried look and asked if I was okay.I just said I'm okay but deep in my heart it wasn't at all.Why did I ask the stupid question anyway?I'm just hurting myself.
"Tell me...something about her." I said.
"Oh..she's really pretty.She's the prettiest girl I've ever seen and would always be pretty in front of my eyes.She also brighten up my day without even trying.I just feel happy whenever I see her.My heart would go crazy if I talk to her." He commented and I could see how happy he is talking about the girl he likes.Whoever the girl is,she's lucky to be loved by Jungkook because he'll love her whole heartedly.I'm happy for him.
"Yah..look at my friend..he's a grown up man already.Did you confess to her?"
"Not yet..I'm shy.." He smiled and covered his face cutely.
"Aye..you're a sang namja.You can do it." I cheered him up.
"What if she doesn't like me?I'll end up crying by myself later." He answered.
"Jeon Jungkook,please..who could reject you?If the girl rejects you,then she needs to fix her mind a bit.You should try then you'll know." I advised him.
"Alright,I'll find my time,okay?And...what if she accepted?You would be lonely because I have a girlfriend already." He asked.I could feel my heartache every single time he mentioned about the girl.Maybe I went to far for him.Please save me..
"Kids,we're here!Let's go!" Jin announced as he and Haneul got out.Oh..luckily Jin oppa saved me from this heart breaking moment.
"Okay,my brother's calling.Let's go and eat." I smiled and went out with him.We entered Jin's favourite chicken restaurant and settled down.I sat next to Jungkook,in front of Haneul.
"Let's order,shall we?" Jin clasped his hands and called one of the workers.The worker came and gave us the menu card.I just asked Jin to order me food because he knows what I love to eat here.After everyone finished ordering,it became quiet.I tried to start a conversation but I have nothing to talk to so I just stayed silent.
"I can't believe that the two of you are not a couple.." Haneul looked at us suspiciously.
"No,we're not.We're just best friends." I answered.
"Hm..I just want to see how close the two of you are..so,please answer my questions at the same time,okay?" Haneul suggested and so we agreed.
"Where did you first met?"
"Middle school!" Both of us answered.
"When is Jungkook's birthday?"
"1st September 1997!" Again we answered.
"When is Soyeon's birthday?"
"24 December 1997." We answered.
"Lastly,blue or red?"
"Red!" The both of us answered.
"Wow..kids these days.." Oppa shook his head.
"Then it's obvious the two of you are close..aha.." Haneul said and chuckled.We talked about random things and I found out Haneul unnie is also clever but funny at the same time.Oppa is really lucky to have her.Our food came and we began eating.After Jin paid for everything,he took us to the mall.
"Kids,make sure to meet us near the fountain after you're done." Jin oppa reminded us as he took his girl somewhere probably to the cinema at the upper floor.Jungkook and I nodded our heads like real kids and now we don't know where to go.
"So,where should we go?" I asked him.
"Hm..I think I saw a games store here just now.Can we go there?" He asked and I agreed.Since I always accompany him to the games store so I don't mind.We walked there and he looked like a kid who just entered a toys store.
"Wow,Soyeon!Look at the latest game console!It looks so cool!" He said as he look at the newest game console on display.I just smiled looking at him.He looks so happy but suddenly I remembered about the thing we talked about in the car.The thought of it made the smile on my face gone.After I followed him around,we were out of the games store and walked around the mall.
"Kook-ah..let's go to the bookstore." I suggested.He looked at me and pouted.Then,he shook his head.I know he dislike going there because it's boring.I'm not going to fall with that cute face of his as I pulled him together with me to the bookstore.
"Ah..why did you bring me here?" He sighed.
"Let's find something beneficial okay?Instead of just buying games disks.." I looked at him and he just scoffed.
I took him to the English book section and I saw a book entitled "How to master English in 1 week"(I created it myself,okay?) I tapped on Jungkook's shoulder and gave him the book.
"What?How to master English in 1 week?Is that possible?" He asked me.
"It's possible if you try,Jungkook." I said to him.
"Okay,I'll buy it." He replied which got me quite surprised because he would put the book back to the shelf and walk around again.I smiled in satisfaction.
"I know you're happy that I'm buying this book.Just know that I'm learning this for you." He said as he look at the book content.I was taken aback at his comment but didn't dare to ask.I also bought him a Math book and he got nothing to object but to accept it.
"Thank you so much for buying me books,Soyeon." He emphasized the word "so" as he said that to me.
"Make sure you study okay?Don't just play games." I said to him.
"Yes,mummy." He replied so I hit him lightly and laughed.We went out and entered the clothes store.It's been a long time since I last bought clothes for myself.
"Kook-ah,this one or that one?" I showed him the stripes black and red sweater that I took and pointed at the other polka dots sweater.
"That black and red looks good on you." He said.
"It's my favourite colour too."
"Yeah,I know that..okay,I'll buy this one then." I walked to the cashier and paid for it.We did more shopping and went to a coffee shop.
"What do you want?" Jungkook asked as he looked at the menu display.
"Cappucino." I answered.
"Okay,I'll have Caramel Macchiato then." He said to the cashier.The cashier took our orders and gave us the bill.
"I'm paying for it." Jungkook said and gave the money to the cashier.
"Oh..thank you,Jungkook." I thanked him.He gave me a nod and the cashier gave us our orders.He handed me my drink and I gladfully drink it.
"Thank you,Kookie.Let me treat you next time okay?" I thanked him again as we sat on a bench.
"It's okay,Soyeon." He ruffled my hair and smiled cutely.Ah..seeing him smile makes my heart restless and that made me love him more.We took pictures and waited for my brother and his girlfriend at the promised place.
"Where are this two elders?" I mumbled to myself.
"Yah..you call them elders?" Jungkook asked in disbelief.
"That's what they are right?Besides..they don't know it." I said and giggled.
"If Jin hyung hears this he will leave us here and we'll go back by taxi." He replied.
"Hey..lovebirds.." Jin suddenly cooed from behind.
"Oppa?Where are you just now?" I asked him.
"We watched Pure Love just now..oh..Kyungsoo is really good in acting!" He answered.
"Looks like the two of you went shopping together,huh?" Unnie asked from the other side.
"Obviously,unnie.We walked around and went shopping while waiting for you two." I said to her.
"Sorry to keep the both of you waiting.Let's have a drink." She offered.
"It's okay,unnie.We have our drinks already." I showed her the coffee cup.
"Oh..let's go together next time,okay?" She replied.
"Okay!" I beamed.We went back home at around 4 pm.We sent Jungkook and Haneul back to their houses.Then,left us..Jin oppa and I.
"Yah,what do you think of Haneul?" Jin asked.
"She's nice..perfect for you." I answered.
"Really?" He asked in English.
"Yes.I'm telling the truth." I answered in English too.
"Oh..so,do you think she can be my wife now?" He asked suddenly.
"Why do you ask and are you planning to marry her?" I asked him.
"I'm just asking you okay?The plan..well..I've thought about it sometimes..but I'll wait for the right time." He replied.
"Good,oppa.You better get married early so that I can have a niece or nephew already." I giggled.I saw his face turned red and I laughed at him.
"You little rascal." He sweared.Our journey were full of random chats and laughter.Indeed,I have the best brother on earth.
