Maddie's POV:
When we pulled up into the hotel, I bolted inside the room, and I instantly grab a swimming suit and towel and go to the sauna. The sauna soothes me. It releases me of all worries. It gives me time to think.
I walk into the sauna, pleased that there's nobody in there, then I sit down and let loose.
Why did Chloe block me?
"Don't be dumb Madison." I tell myself.
I know the exact reason why she did so.
She didn't want to get hurt by my mom anymore.
My mom drove her away from me.
In the middle of my train of thought, I am interrupted by the door opening. God, who could it be?
Kalani.
"Oh, hey Madison." She says, taking the seat across from me.
"What do you want, Kalani?" I adk irritated.
"Who don't have to be rude." She shoots, "And, I come here to relax, and think."
She does that too?
"Me too!" I say excitedly.
She smiles. "What are you thinking about?"
"It's complicated." I say
"I've got time" she says, folding her hands.
"Well..." I begin , "It all started a while back..."

"And now I'm here..." I finish.
"Wow. I feel so sorry for you" she says, sorrow in her eyes.
"I'm just so tired of my mom, of this life, and getting her taken away from me" I cry
"It's okay" she says, walking over to me an sitting on my lap , "I can make you feel better.
I sniffle and rub my eyes , "Really? How?" I croak.
"Like this." She says, planting her lips on mine.
"That was nice" I laugh as she pulls away.
She laughs and begins un-latching my bikini. Then we beginning kissing one another.
It feels nice, but not right, like I shouldn't be doing this.
I push away from Kalani as a puzzled look come across her face.
"Is everything okay?" She asks
"Yes- but no." I say , "Kalani, don't get me wrong but, I'm with Chloe"
Kalani then smiles and lets out a chuckle.
"What are you do-" she cuts me off
"Sweetie, don't be with her if she's just going to break your heart."
"But I love her." I say
"I know that, but does she feel the same way?"
"I don't know..." I reply
