DUNCAN P.O.V
Darya, who looked embarrassed, had turned and was now staring at the wall pretending to be interested in it. I growled slowly again while Seline pulled away completely and moved aside, maintaining a good distance between us.
“Uh… Duncan this is my roommate-”
“Darya” I said cutting her off and both the girls turned to look at me curiously as to how I know her name.
“Yes, but how do you know her name?” Sel asked me confused.
“While I was coming here I saw her registration form with the music teacher when he bumped against me.” I said and Sel had a confused look in her face.
“Music?” Darya asked with a frown.
“Yeah…. Your inter-school competition form” I said.
“Darya isn’t into music” Sel said and it was my turn to look confuse. “Well, my best wishes for him if he tries to make Darya sing” Sel said grinning while Darya rolled her eyes and came closer to Sel.
“Okay… uh so Darya this is… Duncan, my mate” Sel introduced me to her.
“Hi” Darya said extending her hands nervously. I could sense her wolf but what surprised me was the powerful aura that came from her.
“Hi” I replied shaking her hands and staring into her eyes. I then realized that Darya’s eyes weren’t blue, they were gray like mine but hers was darker than mine that made it look like blue from far. She had golden blonde hair just like me. She did look familiar but I couldn’t exactly point out to whom.
Darya pulled away and looked up at me. There was fear in her gaze and that bothered me, I am not intimidating, am i? She lowered her gaze and toyed with the hem of her black color uniform coat.
“I will be near your car” Darya said and turned on her heels without a bye. Sel looked at her with concern until she was out of the room.
“She is your roommate?” I asked Sel after Darya left. “How old is she?”
“Thirteen and yes she is Darya, my dad’s third-in-commands daughter” Sel said. “Her mom didn’t want her living in hostel and so she lives with me. Don’t mind about her she isn’t much comfortable around… new people” Sel said placing her hands gently on my arms.
I smiled and pulled her closer to me. Tucking a strand of her hair behind her ears I looked at the chocolate brown eyes. Sel pulled away when I lowered my head to kiss her. “I have to go” she said softly.
“Right, Darya” I said nodding in understanding.
“I am sorry. I will call you later” she said and pecked me in the lips. When I looked back into the chocolate brown eyes I knew she didn’t actually want to go.
I needed to be in control, I kept chanting it in my head. I had to be the one careful amongst us or else I will hurt her.
“Okay” I told her trying my best to put a smiling face. “I will see you later” I told her. She nodded and went to remove the plugs of the music system.
While I was making my way towards my car, I felt like I was being watched. Many students were walking around me and those who belonged to my pack waved at me. But still there was this constant feeling that someone was staring at me. I stopped in my tracks and looked around.
Darya, who was sitting inside a car, immediately diverted her gaze to the other side when her eyes met mine. There was something about her that was confusing me and I couldn’t understand what.
Just then my phone started ringing and it was Vernon calling me. “What?” I asked him.
“Sorry Alpha, I had to call you because your link was blocked” he said guiltily.
“It’s okay. What’s this call about?”
“We got access into the club. The owner charged a fair price and the club will be ours this Saturday.” Vernon said.
“Good. Ask Fox to start doing his work. We have the whole morning tomorrow to arrange for everything. I want to catch those bastards and beat the truth out of them about O” I growled.
“Yes Alpha” Vernon agreed.
“Do it then” I told him and cut the call.
I got inside my car and put on my seat belt. However before starting to drive I couldn’t help but turn to look at Darya who looked lost in some thought. Her brows were furrowed together as if she was deeply worried about something. I wondered whether anyone bullies her in school because the girl wasn’t mixing with anyone around, just sitting inside the car and staring at the school garden. Most girls of her age where either giggling or flirting.
I decided to talk to Sel about her later. Shaking my head I started driving to my apartment.
The next morning I immediately went to the club along with the members of my pack. Since it was weekend I was free from my office work today.
I got out of my car and looked at the name ‘Tease’ written in neon lights. Perfect name for the club. We entered into the club and looked around.
The first room I entered was the Control room where the CCTV cameras in the club were monitored. There was a camera at the entrance, and in and around the dance floor of the club. Overall we could get a good view of everything around the club. Above the club building was a hotel.
“Fox” I called. He was one of the computer geeks from my pack. “I want you to be in the control room along with Chris and me.”
“Alex, Jackson and Rob will be down as people who visit the club. I want you all to notify me ASAP if you find anything suspicious.” I said and they nodded.
“Vernon and Blake you will be bartenders for the night and Vernon don’t get distracted” I said and Vernon’s cheeks colored. “Nick and John will be outside as security guards and the rest will be lounging around outside the club” I stated and they all nodded. “Like I said earlier anything suspicious will be informed to me. If you find any wolf’s especially rogues who will be in the club”
“Yes Alpha” they all nodded.
“Very well then. Now that it is settled be ready pack, we have a rogue to catch for the night” I said walking away.
My cell phone started ringing and my lips curved into a smile when I saw the caller id.
“Hmm?” I told her as soon as I picked the call.
“Where are you?” she asked me. Just her voice was enough to drive me nuts.
“Working. Why?” I asked her.
“Oh! I am disturbing” she said apologetically.
“No. Do you need anything?” I asked her.
“I was thinking that can you come to my place for lunch today?” she questioned.
“What about your roommate?” I asked her.
“Darya? She is okay with it” she said coolly. I growled because I didn’t want anyone to be there. “Is everything okay?” she asked me tensing.
“Yes, it’s fine. I’ll be there” I told her.
“Okay” she said. “I will see you later then” she said and cut the call. When I cut the call, I saw a familiar BMW parking in front of the club. I frowned when I saw Tyson getting out of the car and instead of going to the club like I expected him to; he went to a nearby shop and brought himself a coke.
Leaning against a wall, with cell phone in one hand, he was busy texting something in his cell while taking a sip from the coke and occasionally glancing ahead. Frowning, I started driving towards my apartment.
Around one in the noon, I knocked door no 703. I could hear some shuffling and running sound behind the door and soon Seline’s wonderful scent hit closer and closer. She opened the door and smiled widely when she saw me. She was wearing a simple floral print dress and a cardigan over it.
“Hey” she said smiling and hugging me. I hugged her back and nestled my nose against her neck to take in her scent. My wolf sighed inside me. “Come on in” she replied pulling away and dragging me inside already. I kicked the door shut with my legs.
This was a two bedroom apartment and everything was arranged neatly here. I saw Darya who was sprinkling water to the plants in the flower pot in their balcony.
“Hi Duncan” Darya said beaming which was complete contrast to her behavior yesterday.
“Hi” I said smiling.
“You both chat, I’ll set up the table” Seline said and pecked me on the lips. I made my way towards the balcony. “What’s the name of that flower?” I asked Darya pointing to a purple flower that had five petals.
“Periwinkle” she told me.
“And that?” I asked pointing to another plant that looked like cactus but didn’t have thorns in it. It had a pink bud though.
“Queen of the night” she told me.
“Strange name”
“Yeah, because it blooms only at night” she told me and I looked in surprise. “You should see it, it’s beautiful. The flower has such a wonderful fragrance” she said happily and carefully holding a leaf in her hand as if she didn’t want to hurt it.
“Okay then, call me when it blooms” I said pointing at the bud. Darya went back to nurturing the plants. She was treating those plants as if they were children.
“She loves plants and trees a lot” Seline whispered from behind me and I turned to look at her. “Back home they have a huge garden in their house and Darya takes care of it” Sel said and I smiled. I turned to look at Darya who had a genuine smile in her face when she was watering a tomato plant.
For some unknown reason I wanted to care about Darya. I kept repeating to myself that it is only because she has the same name as my mom.
“Lunch is ready” Sel called to Darya who nodded and left. She turned to me and grinned, “Wanted to share with you that I don’t know cooking and the food was ordered from outside” she winked and turned.
I couldn’t stop the smile from appearing on my face.
After lunch I went inside Sel’s room and looked around while she sat on the bed Indian style holding my jacket and observing at me anxiously. There were photos of her along with her parents and friends in the wall.
“Flash mob?” I asked in surprise when I saw a photo of Sel dancing in a street.
“Yeah. I have danced for three such and they are so much fun” she said, excitement clear in her eyes.
Her room was tidy but there were huge piles of untouched business books in her table next to her laptop. “You can use them as pillow” I told her lifting a book that weighed as much as a new born baby.
“The university gives us those books but I hardly refer them” she told me. “They are fat.” She complained.
My gaze then fell on the poster of a shirtless actor and I growled. “Who the fuck is he?” I asked her even though I recall seeing the actor in some movie poster which I couldn’t exactly point out.
“Uh… Henry Cavill. The superman” Seline said dreamily while I growled louder and tore the poster. “No” she shouted. “What did you do?” she screamed at me. “You know how challenging it was for me and Raven to steal that poster?” she said taking the torn poster from me while I stared at her with wide eyes. “You ruined my Henry’s poster” she wailed and I growled thunderously.
Roughly catching her arms I threw her on the bed. Her eyes widened like saucers and she gaped at me. Her dress had risen a little higher revealing her thighs that had my wolf purr inside me. I wanted her so badly. I wanted everyone to know that she is mine.
I hovered over her and immediately felt her trembling. “You are mine” I stated. She tried to get up but I just pushed her back and started kissing her neck. Sel didn’t fight me after that. The Goosebumps on her skin was like a turn on to me. Nestling my nose against her soft skin, I inhaled her wonderful scent before kissing her. Seline rolled her head backwards encouraging me to continue. I sucked on the spot where I wanted to mark her.
Before I could even bring out my canines, I heard a cell phone ringing. Rumbling, I looked at her cell phone that I so badly wanted to throw against a wall. I rolled over and lied on my back while Seline leaned and picked up her cell phone. She took a deep breath before answering the call.
“What is my little bear doing?” I heard her mom’s cheerful voice asking and I smirked at Seline’s nick name.
“Hi….. Uh, I just had my lunch Ma” Seline said slowly looking anywhere but me.
“Is Darya with you?” her mom asked her.
“Yeah” she replied and my gaze dropped to her pink cheeks where mine had scraped her. I decided I needed to shave or else she would look like that all over.
“Okay, Jane was worried about her since Darya didn’t call her yesterday” her mom said.
“I will talk to her about it” Seline stated scratching her forehead with seriousness in her tone.
“Okay and are you going out for the evening?” her mom asked.
“I don’t know ma, not decided yet”
“You should sweetie. Have some fun when you are not working and studying the whole day. Go out on a date, get a boyfriend not just- what was that?” her mom asked when I growled loudly at the boyfriend part.
Sel closed her eyes shut and bit her bottom lip nervously.
“Sel?” her mom called but Sel didn’t reply instead she looked at me nervously. “Little bear? Who is with you and don’t you lie to your ma because I heard that growl” her mom continued.
“Uhmm… ma” Seline said running her fingers through her hair. “I found my mate” she said. Her eyes met mine and I relaxed from the tense posture I had since boyfriend was mentioned.
“Oh my God, who? When? Where? How? Okay the last one is silly but tell me the answers to the rest” her mom ordered.
I sighed shaking my head and got up from the bed. “I will be out” I told her and kissed the top of her head. I didn’t want to hear the mother daughter conversation since I knew it wouldn’t end soon.
I could sense Darya in her room and from her soft breaths I knew she was sleeping.
And just like I guessed half an hour later Sel came out of her room while I was watching news. She sat down next to me and rested her head on my shoulders. I immediately wrapped my arms around her shoulders. “How did it go?” I asked her while she entwined our fingers. Electricity spread all over my body from having her close to me.
“I cut the call” Sel huffed and I chuckled.
“Bad network?” I teased and she growled lowly.
“Why didn’t you tell them?” I asked frowning because it bothered me that she didn’t. Sel tensed and I looked at her.
“I wanted to be sure everything would work between us” she told me and I frowned deeper. “Like one hundred percent sure” she told me smiling that brought the dimples and I felt my frown vanishing.
“And you are sure now?” I couldn’t help but ask her. She looked down at the ground that had her hair covering her face. I tucked her hair behind her ears and smiled in satisfaction when I saw her blushing.
“I am” she whispered and elbowed me in the ribs while I smirked. “Trust me when I say I will hunt you down and kill you if you break my heart” she said narrowing her eyes and I cocked an eyebrow.
“Kinky aren’t you little bear? Now that’s hot” I said smirking and she turned into a deeper shade of red.
“They want to meet you” she blurted. “I agreed to visit there or else my parents are going to come here which is not a good thing” she said nervously waiting for my approval.
“When are we going?” I asked her and she stared at me with open mouth.
“Really? You are okay with it?” she asked and I shrugged. A genuine smile of relief spread in her face deepening her dimples and she hugged me. “Oh, Thank you, Thank you Duncan. You have no idea how happy I am to hear you say that.” she said happily and kissed my cheeks.
“If you are happy then I am” I told her shrugging and lowered my head. She looked at me and blinked her eyes repeatedly to stop her tears. I didn’t want to see her crying and so I smashed my lips against hers.

“Everything Okay?” I asked Fox. I was in the control room along with Chris and Fox. I looked at the screen that was showing every nook and corner of the fully packed club. I wondered how these people breathe over there.
The music was pumping loud from below and everyone were dancing, drinking or mindlessly flirting. There were some girls who were stripping for a group of guys. No wonder rogues choose this place.
The guards outside used to give information on the rogues that enter the club along with humans while we would track their every move inside the club. I was watching a rogue who had girls flanked on either side.
The rogue looked harmless and was busy making out with one girl at a time. There were already around twenty to thirty rogues inside the club. Diverting my eyes from the man whore I turned to look at another group of rogues who were drinking and flirting with some humans. There were few wolves from Granel’s pack too but they used to stay in the other side of the club. So far everything looked good and it didn’t seem like the rogues had any ulterior motive in being here. They were having fun just like the humans around were.
“Anything suspicious?” I asked them rolling the sleeves of my black shirt up to my elbows.
“No” Chris and Fox replied in unison.
I then looked at Vernon who was flirting as well as doing his duty. Got to give it to the guy, I thought smirking.
‘Nick’ I connected with another pack member who was out as a guard.
‘Yes Alpha’ was the instant reply.
‘There are more?’ I asked him.
‘There are three more in the line and I saw two going up to the hotel’ Nick said and I frowned.
‘Follow them. Leave the rest on John’ I ordered and Nick agreed.
‘Vernon’
‘Yes Alpha’ he replied. I narrowed my gaze when I saw him scribbling his number in the sheet and handing it to some tramp. ‘Go out. I want you as a guard’ I ordered and I growled when I saw the frown in his face. Sighing, he left out.
Leaning back in my chair I tool out my cell phone and decided to check on Sel. I was searching for her number when Fox spoke up. “Isn’t that the Supreme Pack Luna?” he asked and I frowned.
“Yeah she is. Who is the hot girl with her?” Chris asked.
“Raven is here” I muttered and looked at the screen. A thunderous growl came from my chest when I saw that Raven wasn’t alone, Seline was with her.
