Coop's POV
"WHAT?!"
My sister yelped, my stepdad looked confused.
"What's wrong? I thought you'd love to move to Scotland?"
She cut in smiling more than I've ever seen her smile.
"FATHER THAT'S AMAZING!!"
She yelled, jumping up and hugging him tightly, knocking him into the wall.
"Oof! Haha, I'm glad you agree. Me and Bree put this together for us. It's all planned out, we move to Scotland and you visit as much as you can-"
She interrupted him and said,
"But father! You know I'll never be able to leave!"
It's true. My older sis LOVES Scotland. Sometimes I peek over at her phone when she listens to music and I see her researching old Scottish castles, cemeteries, schools, and history.
"It's okay, honey!"
My mom said, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"You can come to live with us whenever you want!"
Momo smiled and hugged my mom tightly.
"Oh, thank you thank you thank you!"
I laughed and hugged my stepdad,
"This is AWESOME, Randy!"
I yelled, he laughed and placed his hands on my back, patting it softly as not to hurt my small body. At this point, my sister was crying of happiness.
"Oh, honey don't cry!"
My mom stated quickly, patting her back,
"I-I'm not sad I'm just so happy!"
She mumbled smiling, overjoyed as her dream was coming true.
"We are leaving in a week!"
My stepdad said as my mom wiped my sister joyful tears away while I hugged her from behind.
"Oh shit!!"
My sister turned to me quickly.
"Coop we have to pack!!"
She grabbed my hand and rushed to my room.
"Language!"
My stepdad and mother said in unison.
"Sorry!"
She yelled as we kept running, holding my hand. We got there she started raiding my closet grabbing some boxes and clothes then separating my things.
"Hey sis?"
She kept working and answered,
"Yes, brother?"
"Remember...? The vampires??"
She chuckles and stopped. We sat on my bed.
"What about them, champ?"
I looked down and twiddled my thumbs,
"W-well... Didn't you find out that there was a clan in Scotland.... Right..?"
She smiled, and said,
"Well, yes... Maybe we'll find them... OOO!!"
I looked scared, and started to stutter,
"W-well... W-what of the-they kill m-me??"
She hugged me, and pulled me into her lap.
"Oh, don't worry they won't, wanna know why?"
"Why?"
"Because I'll be here to save you for the monsters under your bed..."
She spoke softly, holding me close. We stayed like that for a moment.
"Now! Let's pack!"
She said, placing me on my feet as she stood as well.
~Hours Later~
Bree's POV
The kids were packing, so was my husband. I was happily making (awesome) sandwiches and some (awesome) cake for after.
"Hey, Bree?"
I turned to see my stepdaughter, I smiled at her.
"Hey! What's up?"
She smiled and said,
"Well, me and Coop have been a little off... You know... Like myths and stuff..."
I smiled, I put the cake in the oven, then went back to make the sandwiches.
"Ah, I think I understand, honey. Well, you know, anything is possible. But you have to remember, there are many, many people in the world. So why would anything like werewolves, and other monsters try to attack us?"
She pondered and smiled,
"Yeah I guess you're right! Thank you!"
I heard my son call from his room for her.
"Momo!! Can you help me lift my toy box??"
She smiled more, and turned to me saying,
"Well, that's my cue! But one thing!"
She dove her finger into the cake icing,
"Hey!"
I playfully said, she laughed and licked her finger,
"OOO! Tastes good!"
She turned and ran to Coop's room,
"I'm coming, Coop!"
I heard her yell. I smiled and kept baking.
A few minutes later, my sweaty husband came in. He looked really worked out.
"Oh! Hey, sweetheart!"
He smiled and wiped the sweat from his forehead.
"Hey!"
He said, I finished the sandwiches and kissed his cheek.
"So, how's packing?"
He chuckled, and hugged me,
"It's good, really good. How are the kids?"
"Oh, they're good, Momo is helping Coop pack."
He smiled and looked at the sandwiches. I held his plate up to him and he took it to the table.
Momo's POV
"There!"
I put my hands on my hips, my little brother did the same.
"Kids! Lunch time!"
We heard my stepmother call us.
"YAY!"
We said, I picked him up and ran to the dinning room for lunch.
~Awhile Later~
"M-Momo..?"
I opened my eyes, groaning as I was just about to fall asleep. I saw my young brother leaning over my bed.
".... Hey.... Coop.... What's wrong....?"
I asked sleepily, rubbing my eyes.
"C-can I sleep next to y-you..?"
I smiled weakly, he quickly climbed into my bed holding me tight.
"Please wait till I'm asleep to go to bed!"
He squeaked, I smiled but on the inside I was whining.
"Of course, go to sleep quick okay?"
He was quiet for a minute or so, I was about to sleep, thinking that he was asleep. But...
"Momo.....?"
'Fuuuuuuuuu-'
My thoughts were interrupted by my own words.
"Yes.....?"
I responded on the brink of sleep,
"I- I don't like the dreams....."
"Hmmm...."
