Something a lot of people like to do.
It looks pretty.
It might taste good too.
It might smell like heavenly like sugar and cinnamon.
But the proof is in the pudding.
To thine ownself you can't even be true.
How funny it is because I used to love you?
Now layers upon layers of hurt.
After I've buried the pain in the back yard under six feet of dirt.
Your selfish ways only prove your greed.
How much more cake do you need?
How many more flavors do you need to experience to find what you need?
Hiding pieces, saving them for later.
Making a mess and I watch all the splatter.
That's my heart... All over the place.
Watching you make your mess.
Smashing it in my face.
You make me hate love.
I gave my all to you...and in the end, all you ever wanted was to have your cake and eat it too.
