Scarlett's Pov
Knock knock.
"David honey, someone's at the door,"says my mom.
"Why are you telling me for woman?" I hear him say back.
If I just stand here and listen I'll be here all day.
I just walk in.
My dad's sitting on the couch watching the game, while my is in the kitchen cooking dinner.
"Mom, dad, I'm home," I say as I go give them both kisses on the cheek.
"Good to have you back kiddo," my dad says messing with my hair.
"Good to be back," I say smiling.
My mom comes to me and looks me in the eyes.
"Go upstairs and get ready for dinner. Oh and by the way dress nice. The Lawrence's from next door are joining us for dinner," says my mom still with a smile on her face.
I nod and go upstairs.
My room is the same as it was before I left.
My parents know all about me being a little.
So its not much different then my other room.
"Honey, the Lawrence's are here.
Come down and john us please," my mom says in a strained voice.
I wonder why she sounds so strained.
And know I see.
"Honey these are the Lawrence's. This here is Anne and Michael. And over here are their kids, Elijah and Natalie," she tells me.
They all wave or nod and we go into the kitchen.
My mom passes out the food, and I take this time to study Natalie and Elijah.
Natalie is really pretty. She has long wave hair that shapes her face just right.
And Elijah looks like he can be a model.
He has brown hair with really dark green eyes with golden flecks in the middle.
I guess I was staring because I see him smirk at me before looking back at his mom.
"So Scarlett, how's life?" Says Natalie.
Why me. Why me.
"Umm it's going good," I say looking down at my plate.
Her eyes look their analyzing me, but maybe I'm just reading to far into it.
My minds go else where when I hear then talking about cook books.
Uggghhh. I really need to go back into little space.
I've been in big girl world for a long time and I'm tired of it.
"Scarlett, would you show Elijah to the bathroom?" Says my mom.
I nod and look over to Elijah who is already getting up.
We walk down the hall and I point to it.
I turn around and we are face to face.
He leans down in whispers in my ear" Thanks for showing me to the bathroom. I think you should let me show you around some time."
I look at him dumbfounded and just nod my head.
He smiles. A full smile that shows that he has cute little dimples.
He goes and uses the bathroom and comes back out.
The rest of the night is uneventful except for the constant questions fired at me from Natalie.
Though I think she meant well.
They left and I headed upstairs.
I grab my stuffie off of my chair and climb into my crib.
Though I'm still a little in big girl land, I think of my day.
Quite eventful.
And with that I'm asleep.
