|Camden's POV|
Ever since Shawn has been gone with Ava it's just been me and Braden and boy has he been a handful but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I got up a little earlier this morning so I could get coffee before Braden woke up. I went downstairs and started making my coffee when Shawn called.
|phone call|
C- Good morning babe!
S- Good morning to you too. How's it going at home babe?
C- Just missing you and Ava Grace but I'm thinking we're making a trip to your next stop. Where is it again?
S- Dallas
C- Good. They've got a good mall.
He just laughed.
S- I've missed you lots. I'd let you talk to Ava but she's asleep and were about to go to sound check.
C- Braden is asleep too. When is your next event. Tomorrow?
S- Yeah.
C- Alright well someone's awake so I'm gonna let you go. I love you lots. Tell Ava Grace I love her.
S- Love you and Braden too. Can't wait to see y'all. Bye.
|end of phone call|
I walked upstairs and into Braden's room to see my boy standing up in his crib.
"Hey boy!" I said as I went to pick him up. "Are you ready to get ready for the day?" I asked and kissed him on the cheek and then he started to cry a little. "What's wrong Bray?" I asked and pulled out my phone because someone texted me or so I thought. When I lit my phone up he saw my background which was Ava Grace and Braden. He pointed to her and said 'Sissy.'
"Well then, who knew sissy would've been your first word. Let's go get dressed." I changed him into khaki shorts, a black shirts and little black vans. I sat him down to play while I packed his bag. When I finished we went in my room and we packed my bag. "We're all ready to go see daddy and sissy!" I said and he smiled. "Sissy" he said and I laughed and put him in the car and drove to airport.
|Shawn's POV|
"Ava Grace come here for a second" I said as she ran around the arena.
"Yes daddy?" She asked.
"Sound check is almost over and then I'm taking you to get a surprise so sit right here while I talk to Andrew and Taylor for just a minute okay? And then we'll leave" I said and kissed her forehead.
"Okay daddy." She said.
I walked over to Andrew and Taylor just to make sure everything was in order for the show tonight. "Okay guys is everything good?" I asked. "Everything seems fine to me" they both said. "Alright well I'm heading to the airport to get Camden and Braden and then we're getting lunch if y'all want to join. But if not I'll see y'all later." I said and they both said goodbye. "Come on Grace." I said and took Ava's hand.
"Dad Grace isn't even my name" she said.
"It's your middle name silly goose" I said and she laughed and we got in the car.
While we're driving, Ava was making silly, corny jokes that any 5 year old would make. We pulled up to the airport and Camden and Braden were already waiting on us and they were the first thing Ava saw. She opened the door as soon as the car stopped and ran to her mom.
"Mommy!" She yelled.
"Hey princess" Camden said as she bent down and hugged Ava.
"Hey boy! Daddy missed you a whole lot" I said as I took Braden from Camden. "And I missed my sweet girl even more" I said and gave Camden a kiss.
"Okay who's ready for some lunch?" I asked.
"Me!" Camden yelled with Ava and I laughed at how cute my girls are.
We drove to a burger restaurant down the road. We went in and got seated and ordered. After we ordered we just talked.
"So Ava guess what!" Camden said.
"What?" Ava asked as she ate her macaroni and cheese.
"Bubba said his first word." She said and my eyes got big.
"Did you now?" I asked Braden.
"He said sissy" Camden said annoyed because it wasn't mama but excited at the same time.
"See I told you he loves me the most!" Ava said and we laughed.
"Who is that?" I asked Braden as I pointed to Ava and Camden recorded.
"Sissy!" Braden said and we all clapped for him.
We finished eating and then we went back to the hotel for Camden and Ava to get ready for the show tonight.
|Camden's POV|
When we got to the hotel I changed Ava into a blue jean flannel, black leggings, her high top white converse, and a grey bandana.
"Ava, that bandana looks good on you! Making Uncle Taylor proud!" Taylor said as he came through the door.
"Oh my goodness Tay!" I said jumping up and hugging him. I look out in the hall and all of the guys and their wives were there. I ran to Hayes just so I could see Angelina and baby Savannah. "Hey Sav!" I said to the baby and hugged Angelina and Hayes and everyone else. "I'm glad y'all came!" I said as we all walked back in the room.
"Wouldn't want to miss Shawn's big night. Isn't that right Miss Ava," Cameron said.
"That is very correct" she said smiling.
"Where's my sister?" Nash said coming in the room late as usual.
"Nash!" I said and ran and hugged him. "Okay guys I have to change and do my make up and then we can leave." I changed into a sleeveless black and white striped t-shirt dress with black booties. I loosely curled my hair and did my make up. "Alright let's go!" I said and we went to the venue.
When we got there it was packed and it made my heart happy to see Shawn reaching his goals.
"Mommy. Mommy! Come meet Taylor!" Ava said as she tugged on my arm.
"Okay, Okay. I'm coming" I said and we walked to see Taylor. "Hey Taylor I'm Camden, Shawn's wife," I said and hugged her.
"I've heard so much from you from Shawn and your sweet little girl." She said and we talked for a while until the show started.
"I love you babe. You'll do great!" I said to Shawn and he gave me, Ava and Braden a kiss and he went on stage.

After the show, we headed back to the hotel, changed into our pjs and just talked about whatever. After a while we were getting tired so we all went to our separate rooms and laid down.
"Good night Shawn. Good night Ava. Good night Bray!" I said and all except Braden said their good nights and I love you's and we went to bed!
