How do you test empathy in someone.
Ask someone to trace an uppercase E on their forehead with their finger. If they draw it so you can read it, they're doing what's best for you and are therefore empathetic. If they draw it facing themselves, they are only thinking of theirselves and aren't empathetic
Similarly if you want to find out if a child is self conscious and can notice herself or himself, take a mirror and place it in front of them...
Remove the mirror,take a water marker and Mark a dot or any mark or a letter on their forehead wait for some few minutes and then bring back the mirror...
Take note, if the child or baby will touch the mark on the mirror then ,he or she is not self conscious and if he or she will touch the forehead while looking at the mirror, congrats! Your kid is super conscious and may be quite smart.
