A sweet and soft caressing smell
Was flowing throughout the country dell
Cows were grazing in the tree lined field
And many a bushel the crops would yield
Sheep were lowing in the cool green grass
As the summer season was sure to pass
A bright red barn towered tall
And the sun shone happily over it all
Although the roses would fade soon
Autumn's flowers will quickly bloom
