I stared at my maths text book, trying to study for my exam tomorrow. I felt like I had huge weights on my shoulders from how stressed I was.
I groaned loudly and rested my head on the desk. Suddenly, I heard my door open and I lifted my head up too see who it was.
"(Y/n)? Are you okay? You look kinda tired." Shawn, my boyfriend of 2 years asked, making his way over to where I was sitting.
"No, I'm far from okay! I have this stupid maths exam tomorrow and I've been trying to study for the last 6 hours now and my stupid brain isn't working." I mumbled annoyed, rubbing my temples with my index fingers.
He pulled me into a hug and I immediately relaxed at his touch. He kissed the top of my head, twirling my hair in between his fingers.
"Hey, your gonna do great, you just need to take a break. How about we watch a movie and cuddle? We can watch whatever you want?" He whispered pulling me up from the desk chair.
"I like the sound of that," I giggled smiling. He grabbed the laptop and blankets, making his way over to my bed. He patted the spot next to him, signalling that he wanted me to join him.
I jumped in bed next to him getting under the blankets and we both laid down as he wrapped his arms around my stomach.
"What film do you wanna watch?" He asked reaching over me and grabbing the laptop, opening up the Netflix app.
"Mean girls!" I squealed excitedly, knowing that it was yours and Shawn's favourite movie to watch together. "Anything for you, my princess," he chuckled at my excitedness.
It was about half an hour into the film, and my eyelids started to feel heavy. "Hey Shawn?" I whispered.
"Mhm?" He mumbled into my neck, still focusing on the film. "Thank you for doing this, I feel so much better," I said. He kissed my neck gently. "Anytime babe." he replied.
"I love you," I mumbled quietly closing your eyes. "I love you too." Was the last thing I heard as I fell into a deep slumber, in his arms.
