When in a conversation keep your silence even after they have finished speaking maintaining eye contact.this can be used to probe someone into giving more information. More often than not, they will start talking
again to avoid the awkward silence.

unsatisfactory answer to a question, stay quiet and
keep eye contact and they'll usually feel pressured to keep talking and reveal more.
