••Johnson's POV••
"Morning mom." I said kissing her cheek as I walked into the kitchen
"Morning? Why are you so happy today?" She asked raising a brow
"I can't be happy?" I asked grabbing the gallon of milk
"I never said that. You just seem more, full of life." She said I chuckled
"I think you know the answer to that mom." I said serving myself a cup of milk and drinking it
"Alex?" She asked. I gave her a thumbs up indicating she was right
"Are you guys back together?" Her eyes lit up. I put my cup down and shook my head
"Then?" She asked confused
"I kissed her, and she kissed me back. It was just so amazing." I said smiling at the thought of it
"She said she loved me. Do you have any idea how good that feels?" I asked
"Yes." She nodded
"I just feel like every day I get closer and closer to how we were before, more than friends." I explained
"I think everyone sees it, but she's only staying here for a week sweetheart. Which means she only has two more days before she goes back to New York." She said making my heart drop. She's leaving. I totally forgot about that
She was actually supposed to leave two days earlier but something happened at the college that they let them stay a little longer. Well along with the other students of course. But what am I gonna do now? We never made it through a long distance relationship
But what if we never even get back together. I would hate that. Forgetting every thing we went through. Every kiss. Every hug. Every special moments we shared together. They can't just fade away like that can they? At least I hope not
"That slipped my mind." I mumbled finally answering my mom
"I'm sorry." She said
"Don't be, it's good that you reminded me. I'll make sure to treasure her even more." I said making a smile appear on her face
"It's great to hear you talk like that about her." She said
"She just makes me feel some type of way. I never want to let her go mom. Never." I said to her. She embraced me in a tight hug. I sighed and wrapped my arms around her
"She's your first love." She mumbled. I nodded.
"Even if you guys don't get together again. You'll fall in love again Jack, and it'll feel just as amazing as it did the first time." She assured
"I don't want to fall in love with someone else. I don't want to even fall out of love with Alex. Mom I've never said this before but I want her as the mother of my kids. She's all I ever think about." I mumbled in her ear
"Oh my baby." She whispered
"I love her too much mom. I don't need anyone else. Not when Alex Castillo lives on this earth." I mumbled. How can you fall out of love? Is it even possible? But even if it is, I never want to find out

"She isn't here." Summer said opening the door. I raised a brow
"Gee just cause I come over doesn't mean I want to hang out with just her." I defended. She crossed her arms and just stared at me
"Ok fine." I gave in and put my hands up in surrender
"But where is she?" I asked
"A friend from college came to visit her, they went for a walk or something." She shrugged as she let me in the house
"So....who's her friend?" I asked closing the door behind me
"His name is Ruben." She said
"It's a guy." I mumbled
"Jealous Jack?" She teased. I glared at her and nodded
"Don't worry, Alex is head over heels for you. Even YOU know that." She assured. I sighed and nodded
"How was your guys' date yesterday?" She asked
"It wasn't a date." I shook my head
"Was there kissing?" She asked. I nodded slowly. There's really no point in denying it. Cause one she most likely already knows. And two, there's no shame in that. I kissed her cause I love her. And she kissed me back cause she loves me. Simple as that
"Then it was a date." She said
"Ok fine." I sighed
"What's wrong?" She raised a brow
"You girls leave in two days." I frowned. She sighed
"That's why you seem down." She said I nodded not bothering to deny it
"It's not like you're never gonna see her again." She said
"I know that, but how long until I do? I stopped seeing her for two years I don't want that again Summer." I explained to her. She nodded
"But this time you guys can text, Skype it won't be the same anymore Jack. You guys WILL talk." She assured. I sighed
"I guess so." I mumbled playing with my fingers. A habit I got from Alex
"Come in." I heard Alex's voice say behind me.
"Oh hey." She smiled at me as a boy with dark brown hair appeared behind her.
"Jack this is Ruben, Ruben this is Jack." She introduced
"Sup." I nodded. He smiled and nodded
"Uh, well I should go." I said walking towards the door.
"Wait Jack." Alex said following me. I sighed and turned to face her
She studied my face with a confused look. I raised a brow
"What?" I finally asked
"What's wrong?" She frowned.
"Everything is fine." I lied. She sighed knowing I'm not
But in all honesty I don't want her to leave. I just want to hold her forever and make sure she's safe.
"Hang out with your friend, I'll come back later." I shrugged before opening the door and walking out
She grabbed my hand making me stop
"Are you jealous?" She asked
"I know we're not dating but I can't help it Alex." I defended. A smile tugged on her lips
"Can I tell you a secret?" She asked. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion
She leaned close to my ear making my breath hitch. By instinct I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her closer to me. She giggled and put her hand on my shoulder
"He's gay." She whispered. She looked at me and burst out laughing. Probably at my blushing face
"In my defense he doesn't look gay." I said scratching the back of my neck awkwardly
"He's still in the closet you can say, his parents are very strict and they would notice if he acted the way he really wants to." She explained
"Oh." I mumbled looking down in embarrassment
"It's cute that you got jealous." She said poking my cheek. I glared at her
"Lighten up." She smiled
"I think I'm the lightest I can be." I said looking at my skin
"Not funny." She said hitting my chest. I chuckled
"Sorry babe." I smirked
"Shut up." She said looking away from me as a blush appeared on her cheeks. I chuckled
"You're so cute." I said kissing her cheek making them even more red
"Jack." She whined looking at me
"Hmm?" I mumbled holding back a smile. She huffed
"I'm gonna go hug Ruben to make you jealous." She threatened
"Well now that I know he's gay, go on ahead." I shrugged
"Or another boy." She shrugged walking off. I groaned and wrapped my arm around her waist
"Don't even think about it." I mumbled into her neck. Goosebumps appeared on her arms making me chuckle
"Nervous?" I asked
"N-No." She stuttered and sighed
"Alex?" Ruben asked walking out of the house. I quickly pulled away from Alex and backed off
"Hey." Alex waved awkwardly
"You two getting it on?" He teased. I chuckled making Alex glare at me
"No we are not 'getting it on' Ruben." She replied to him
"Mhmm." He mumbled clearly not believing a word she just said
"Anyways, I have to get going. But we're totally going to hang out tomorrow." He said to her then looked at me
"And bring him too." He whispered before walking off
My eyes went wide as Alex burst out in laughter
"S-Someone has a crush on you." She laughed. I rolled my eyes
"Well you love me so what's so hard to believe that he likes me?" I asked raising a brow
"It's just your face was priceless." She giggled. I groaned
"I was gonna say no to the mall but I might go, if you invite me of course." I said. She smiled and nodded
"You know what sucks?" I asked
She shook her head
"You leave back to New York in two days." I said making a frown appear on her beautiful face. Right then I knew she had totally forgotten about it just like I had
"Oh yeah." She mumbled biting down on her lip. I sighed
"You had forgotten?" I asked. She nodded slowly
"Me too, I realized it cause my mom told me this morning." I explained
"It totally slipped my mind." She sighed and sat down on her front door steps
"Guess we got too caught up in the moment." I said sitting next to her. She nodded and rested her head on my shoulder
"We can still Skype right?" She mumbled
"Of course." I nodded
"Why do I feel like we've been through this before?" She asked I frowned
"It's different this time, we aren't together. But we're still friends. A lot of things are easier when you're friends. It'll be easier." I assured
"I'm just scared." She whispered. I wrapped my arms around her
"Honestly? I am too. I'm afraid to loose you again and this time forever. That all our memories together will be gone and you'll find someone else. But we can make it Alex, I promise." I said kissing the top of her head
"I love you Jack." She mumbled tiredly I couldn't help but laugh at
"You're tired?" I asked
"Yes, don't judge me I couldn't sleep at all last night." She mumbled as I picked her up and sat her on my lap
"I feel like a baby." She giggled wrapping her arms around my neck
"Why couldn't you sleep last night?" I asked her softly
"I had someone on my mind." She whispered burying her face in the crook of my neck
In front of us was the sunset. It was really quiet and peaceful out. The girl I love in my arms, I really couldn't ask for anything better than this. Alex's hot breath gave me chills as she started breathing heavier
I looked down at her to see her eyes were shut I couldn't help but smile down at her. How can a human being be so perfect? And she's not even trying, she literally has her eyes close. That's all. But to me she's the most beautiful human being in the planet
"Princess?" I whispered shaking her softly. She hummed
"W-What?" She murmured
"Who was on your mind?" I asked. She shook her head and fluttered her eyes open. She smiled tiredly at me
"You." She said making my heart beat increase ten times faster
"Me?" I asked. She nodded
"What about me?" I asked softly
"Your smile." She mumbled
"Your laugh, the way you say you love me, your hugs, your jokes, but most of all your kisses." She said looking at my lips. I gulped. She couldn't sleep cause of me? I don't know if that's a good or bad thing at this point
"I'm here princess, you can sleep now." I assured. She smiled
"I'm really tired." She sighed laying her head on my chest which I'm pretty sure my heart was about to explode out of from the way she's taking to me right now
"Get some rest." I whispered
"But it's barely like seven." She sighed
"That's good, cause you'll have more time to sleep." I said
"But I want to spend time with you." She whined kissing my cheek
"We can do that tomorrow yeah?" I asked
"Ok...but sleep with me tonight?" She asked
"Of course." I nodded making her smile. I stared at her as she drifted off to sleep
I stood up softly and picked her up bridal style. Just as I was about to knock on the door Daniel opened the door and raised a brow
"She fell asleep, she's really tired." I explained. He chuckled and nodded before letting us in
"Um she wants me to st-He cut me off
"Jack, even if you guys aren't together you still act like it. It's ok, just keep your hands to yourself." He warned
"Can't promise anything." I joked as I waked up the stairs and into her room
I laid her softly on her bed before closing the door and laying next to her. Immediately she wrapped her arm around my waist and buried her face in my chest. I smiled softly as I reached over to turn off the lamp. Turning to her I wrapped my arm around her waist to pull her closer
"Goodnight Alex, I love you." I whispered as I kissed her temple. I grabbed the blanket from under her and covered us both making her move around
"Mmm goodnight Jack." She whispered

But I updated again!🙌 I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. So the next one is gonna be the last time they are gonna be together, well at least for a while. Alex will go back to college and Jack will go back to LA with Sammy and Gilinsky
