Hola Everyone! So uploading has gotten a little bit harder for me, although I am trying to update at least once a week. But we will see.
In this chapter you get to meet a whole lot of people so I hope that you enjoy that. Leann POV
When we walked out onto the back porch they were all out there messing around. Two of them were playing a game of catch with a football. Most of the others were helping with the barbeque. "Hey Kyle?"
"Yah?"
"What are we having for dinner?"
"Oh....um I think hamburgers, why your not like a vegetarian are you?" Even though he had a cute smile plastered on his face I knew it would disappoint him if I said yes. Luckily I love meat.
"Are you kidding me? My life wouldn't be complete without meat in it."
"Neither would mine." His smile became more genuinely real after that.
"Hey you two, come over here and help me with this thing." Who was that?
"Sure thing Luke."
"Who is Luke?"
"The guy that just asked us for help silly, don't worry you will have all of their names down before tonight is over."
"Ha I wouldn't count on it, I'm terrible with names. Your lucky I'm not calling you Kurt or something like that." We laughed together when I heard that familiar growl from somewhere inside the house. When I looked over at Kyle I could tell that he had heard it too but wasn't going to say anything about it so I dropped it.
"Hey Leann, you want to come play catch?" Asked on of the guys in the grass beneath us.
"Sure." I would never pass up the chance to show up a bunch of muscular guys.
When I was about to walk over to the two guys playing catch Kyle pulled me back. "Leann I don't want you getting hurt."
"Don't worry about it, I'm only playing catch."
"Yeah, but I don't know, I guess I just don't like the idea of you playing football."
"Hey don't doubt me. I was quarterback for my powder puff team last year, and guess what? We won, so have a little faith."
"Oh alright just don't hurt yourself." He wrapped his other arm around my waist and gave me a half hearted hug before he leaned down and gave me a kiss I desperately needed. Before it had even lasted a half of a second everyone around us all started to awwww simultaneously.
I broke away and turned so that no one could see my blush. When I got over to the two guys they introduced themselves again.
"Hey Leann I'm Seth and this is Zac. Don't worry we wont go to hard on you"
"Ha yeah right. You should worry about yourself."
"Is that a challenge?"
"Yes sir."
"Well then lets do it, whoever can throw farther gets to give Kyle over there a nice little kiss deal." It was almost worth letting him win just to see that.
"How about that's my prize if I win. If one of you guys wins you can......hmmmm"
"You have to go get our dinner for us."
"And if you lose?"
"Then we will let you put whatever you want on our burgers."
"Whatever I want?"
"Yup, But if you lose you have to give both me and Zac a kiss." Everyone went quit. I looked over at Kyle and he looked terrified.
"Deal." I wasn't planning on letting them win.
"Great."
"Lets do this." I couldn't stop a cocky smile from spreading across my face.
"Alright, Kyle get over here and help us." Sooner than should have been physically possible Kyle was at my side begging me not to do it.
"Leann please don't do this, the only reason they are doing this is because they want to make me mad. Please."
"Kyle, I'm not going to let them win. Don't worry about it."
"Whatever you two love birds lets do this."
"Zac I don't want her to do this."
"Kyle I'm doing this, please just try not to worry."
"Yeah Kyle don't worry and go long." Seth threw the ball and it went farther than I would have expected. Shit. Next went Zac and he threw it even farther than Seth, both times Kyle caught it easily.
"Alright Leann your up." Kyle threw the ball back to Zac but I intercepted it easily. Everyone's mouths fell open as if they were surprised that I had caught it.
"What?"
"Do you know how fast Kyle just threw that?"
"Nope and I really don't care." I lifted my arm and threw as hard as I could. Kyle caught it and then came running back to the rest of us. Once he threw the ball down he picked me up by my waist and spun me around.
"I guess that means Leann wins?"
"You two just got shown up by a girl. You should be ashamed." I think that was that Lucas guy.
"I really threw it farther?"
"Yeah." Everyone just smiled at me. And even though I knew I hadn't thrown it farthest, right now I truthfully didn't care.
"No she didn't."
"Ha yes I did." I wrapped my legs around Kyle and he kissed me patiently. This was unlike any of our other kisses. Not that I was complaining, it had been to long since we kissed and I needed his lips on mine, where they belonged.
Someone cleared their throat and we broke apart. People really needed to stop interrupting us. Kyle looked down at me and mouthed. "Your amazing"
"You're pretty great yourself."
"Yeah, yeah we get it your both amazing now get over here and make your dinner." Seth wasn't a very good loser.
"Hey I was only collecting my prize, speaking of that I get to make you and Zac's burgers." He frowned and looked down.
"Leann, you didn't...." I heard yet another growl but this one sounded much different than the others and it was coming from beside me. Kyle?
"Alright you can make our burgers Leann."
"Okie Dokie." I walked over to the table with the food and made up three burgers exactly the same. Once I was finished with that I headed in the house to find something to put on them.
When I got close to the kitchen I heard quite frantic yelling coming from the inside. "Its not possible dad, we cant mate with humans and you know it."
"Liam I have never heard of it before but it has happened and there is nothing we can do about it." What were they talking about?
"Da..."
"Shhhh, Liam shut up."
I came out from my hiding place around the corner. "Um hey guys, you wouldn't happen to have something really disgusting that I could put on Seth and Zac's burgers would you?"
"What, why?"
"Um we kind of made a bet and I won so...."
"Yeah here's some cinnamon will that work?"
"That's perfect Mr. Town, thank you." Once I had grabbed it from his hand I started to walk back to the porch. Once I walked out I saw Zac and Seth look over at me nervously.
"Don't worry, it wont taste as bad as you think it will."
"Leann don't do this, we can work it out, really we can."
"Ha not likely and anyway its to late." I unscrewed the lid on the cinnamon and pored a mound onto each burger but my own then walked over to were they were all sitting.
"Here you go boys." I smiled as I set their food down in front of them. When I went to sit down I noticed that there was no place for me.
"Leann, over here." I looked over to see Kyle staring at me, I don't understand how I could know this guy for less than a day and already love him. It really wasn't natural.
When I got to Kyle he took my hand and led me to his lap. Once I was comfortably seated on his lap I looked up to see that there were two other girls sitting at the table. "Leann you already know everyone here but Rebecca and Savanna. They are Thomas and Harrison's girlfriends and are over here quite a lot, I hope that you will get to know them and love them just as much as the rest of us do."
"Ha okay, ill try but remember sweetie I'm not going to be here long enough to make friends."
"Well wherever you are going I'm going with you."
"Aww really that's so sweet, but you wouldn't have to do that."
"Yes I would, I love you."
