~Lexis P.O.V.~
~A Few Days Later~
After our little vacation we all kinda split ways and just had individual family time. I on the other hand was now getting ready to meet Malcolm. Nelle's new friend.
"Come on Lexis!" She yelled from the bottom of the stairs
"I'm comin shit. I ont wanna go, I wanna stay home and sleep some more" I whined as I walked down the stairs
"Well I'm tired of you bitching at me about my friend so now you're meeting him" She snapped as she walked out the door
"For someone such as yourself sayin Malcolm just a friend, you look pretty dressed up" She was in a sexy dress with the lace back n black heels...why she ont dress like that for me?
"After Malcolm, Riley and I are going out" She smiled back at me. I walked out of the house and went to my car
"Yeah alright, aye we needa get gas first, I forgot to fill it yesterday when I was on my way home" I yawned as I started the car
"Okay" she was fiddling around with her phone
~A Few Minutes Later~
I pulled up to the gas station and put the nozzle in my car. My phone started to ring and it was Chewy
*Phone Convo*
Me: Sup bro?
Chewy: Aye, I need you to watch Angelique for a couple hours
Me: Like now?
Chewy: Yeah, I really need someone to watch her for me
Me: Man, right now I gotta meet up with one of Nelle's friends I ont think it would-
Chewy: Please bro
Me: Fuck. Fine, I'll pick her up in like 5 minutes
Chewy: Thanks

Dammit now I gotta deal with Chewy's lil girl. Don't get me wrong, I love the lil girl like as if she was my own but I ain't in the mood to watch her. I'm hella tired and just wanna sleep.
I swiped my card through the machine and put the nozzle back. I hopped up into the car and still saw Nelle on her phone
'Alright, we needa get Angelique" I said as I pulled out
"Are Chewy and Renee okay?"
"Yeah, he didn't say he was in trouble or nun but he just needs us to watch her. So we're goin to get her then go meet up with Malcolm, then I'll drop you off with Riley" I said "Oh and are you getting the boys or me?"
"Can you? I don't know how long Riley and I will be out"
"Yeah I got em"
~Alvaro P.O.V~
"That's yo mom and Aunt Bailey!" I yelled with laughter as I showed Trey n DeShawn the video, I snuck onto their campus just to show em
"Oh my god! She seriously did that!?" Trey yelled
"Are you not watchin yo Mom and Aunt Bailey full on makin out? Come on Trey, yes they seriously did that and I was there to witness it front row!" DeShawn had a look that I can't even describe but it was funny as fuck
"What else happened while y'all was there?" DeShawn finally spoke
"You know how Marcus n I be, that shit be funny, and then these guys was all up on the girls so we almost got into a gun fight with em but they was scared as shit when they saw yo Dad, Arls, n Javier pull out their guns. I wasn't there, I was with Marcus, but that's what they said. Then we went to a bunch of clubs, Arls, Marcus, n I went to a few strip clubs, but they wasn't like the strip club here" The hoes wasn't even cute or nun, so I ended up leaving early but Marcus n Arls spent a hell of a lot of money there
"Next trip I'm sneaking in the luggage and comin with y'all" Trey said
"Yeah suuure, alright well I just wanted to show you that. I'm supposed to be at home mowin the lawn, so I'll see y'all later" I chucked up the deuces and started to head home.
I was walkin n then I seen Angel sittin on her lawn with a lil bunny rabbit in a cage...according to girl code she a bitch, but according to Alvaro Code she a chick I needa know
"Aye girl, what's poppin?" I asked as I walked up her drive way
"Hey you, and nothing much, just chilling out here with my bunny" She smiled
"I see that, so why haven't you been out lately? I ain't seen you since last week" I sat down next to her
"My little brother, he's been really sick lately so I haven't really been out" She sighed
"I hope you know he ain't sick like you think. He on some hard drugs, take him to the hospital n they'll know what to do" Dumb ass kid.
"How do you know that? He's not doing drugs-"
"shows how much you know, he be getting in from the green house on the end" I laughed
"Oh my god, well then I need to get him to a hospital!" She picked up the bunny and took off inside
"Wow, no thank you kiss or nun? that's some ol bullshit" I said as I got up and jogged across the street over to my house. I seen Arls walkin up the way
"Sup Varo!" He yelled as he walked up to me
"man what on n poppin with chu? The fuck you swagged out fo?" I laughed as I looked him up n down. He had them white as snow J's, some dark blue trues, fuckin red polo shirt, damn! makin me look like a hobo!
"No reason, felt like going for a walk and just threw on first thing I saw" He laughed
"First thing you saw? Man the first thing I ever see would be boxers and a wife beater, here you come up sayin "first thing I saw" alright who you find now?" I rose an eyebrow
"No one, shit. I can't just go for a walk?" He laughed
"Not in my hood, but how's your precious Nicole?" I asked as we walked up to my porch
"She ran away last night cause I told her to go to bed and stop talking to AJ. Why do you have bullet holes in your porch?" He asked as he took a seat
"Marcus and Raphael came by my house and shot at the porch, don't worry about it, all 3 of us are just fucking our shit up. and she really did? Damn, you needa pull out the leather belt n crack it on that ass of hers" Arls will NEVER DO SHIT to discipline his daughter. The reason is, when he was young his mother would and he hated it so he never wanted to do it to his kids especially if he had a daughter. Now when I was growing up, the belt, spoon, stick, shoe, and sometimes even pan were my best friends. I was not in the least bit affected and I sure as hell ain't afraid to bend a kid over my knee and just beat the shit out of em with the belt.
"Hell no. I won't ever do that. You want to use the belt, then you use it on your kids-"
"Oh I do. No hesitations. The twins tried takin my cookie from the cookie jar once, they met my belt and now they don't even realize we have a cookie jar." I laughed "Let me handle Nicole, you're to passive"
"Fine, she's all yours when she gets home-"
"Oh Ima find her. She ont get to come home whenever the fuck she wants, when she pays bills then she can come and go when she pleases" I laughed
"you know what, you do whatever you want to do. I just don't even care anymore" He laughed
"There you go, so if she gets hurt, I won't be held responsible right?" I asked just to make sure, cause I can't promise she won't get hurt
"right, she's all yours. Tomorrow she back with me though"
"I only need a day. Can you get my boys for me today? I needa get my gear" I stood up and adjusted my pants before sitting back down
"Yeah I got chu, 1:50 right?" I nodded my head "Why you always on the porch anyways? I sit out on mine sometimes when I got company but never just by myself like you"
"The porch is like my TV screen. I get live action drama without havin to pay for cable. and when the kids come out to play a game of basketball, soccer, street hockey, football, baseball, that shit be my sports channel" I laughed some more
"Of course you do, let me guess you bring out beer n food huh?" He laughed a lil
"I bring out the mini fridge n stove. I just run the cords through that window and we good to go" I said as I pointed to the window behind me
"You're too much" He said in between laughs
"Oh I know, aye as much as I would love to sit here and watch the streets, I needa tame the lawn" I said annoyed "You know what, I'm just goin to get fake grass. I'm tired of this lawn"
"You're just hella lazy, but aight. I heard Aldo missed his flight so he still in town. Ima go head over there" He dapped me then started walking off my porch. "Marcus n Raphael are drivin by, by the way!"
"Fuck." I dropped to the ground, knocked the table down and placed it in front of me. I heard the sound of bullets fly all around me
"Aye Varo!" They both yelled
"Fuck all of y'all! Also B5!" I yelled back!
"Missed!" Marcus yelled with a laugh
"What!? That's such bullshit! It says hit on my phone!" I got up and jogged up to the car to show him my phone
"dammit" Marcus said under his breath
"Yeah don't think you're so slick punk ass. Y'all quit shootin, Shorty's girl called the cops last night and they was inspecting my house n shit"
"Aight, but now you're porch got that nice ghetto look like you're old house" Raphael laughed
"I love it, makes me feel like we back in the other hood with all the random shootings n shit. Thanks" I dapped em n they drove off. I looked at my porch and it looked like the perfect home to me.
~Chanelle P.O.V.~
we picked up Angelique and just now pulled up to the little donut shop
"Is he here already?" Lexis asked he turned off the car engine
"Yeah, he's right there" I pointed to the table outside with the one guy sitting there. I hopped out and pulled Angelique out of her car seat. She was fast asleep but slowly stirred around in my arms. I looked over at Lexis and looked like he really didn't want to be here...his fault. He said he wanted to meet him today. "Ready?" I smiled at him
"Yeah let's go" He grabbed my hand and together we walked on over to Malcolm
"Hey Malcolm" I smiled at him. He looked at me first then Lexis, then Angelique
"Hey Nelle, and this must be-"
"Lexis, what's up man?" They dapped each other then we all sat down
"You're her fiancé right?" Lexis nodded his head "nice to meet you. You probably know I'm Malcolm. We had P.E same period freshman year" He smiled at him
"Really? I was never there for P.E so I don't really remember" Lexis laughed
"I remember, you were there on the first day, finals and the last day" He laughed along with him
"P.E was hella stupid. I was in enough physical shape and still am"
"No you're not. You've gained some weight within in the last few years" I laughed
"That's cause someone wouldn't let me get at that, but I'm losin it, shit that ain't fat anyways, that be like a blanket for my muscles, they get cold too" Malcolm burst with laughter
"It's all day with Lexis. You don't even know, Malcolm" I said with a small laugh.
We were there for about 2 hours, it's just been nonstop laughing. Lexis and Malcolm might as well be dating now because I can't even get a word in. They both had tear stains all along their cheeks from laughing so hard.
"Lexis, I need you to drop me off at Riley's" I said
"Here, Take my car, Malcolm n I still ain't done talkin" He took Angelique out of my arms and placed the keys on the table
"Alright, I'll see you at home" I gave Lexis and kiss "and I'll see you around" I walked over and gave him a hug before walking out to Lexis's car.
~20 Minutes Later~
"Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" I yelled as I walked in
"Sup Bitch" She said as she was eating a sandwich
"Not much, you?" I smiled
"Eating, we needa go!" She grabbed her keys off the key hook and grabbed her shoes
"Want me to drive?" I laughed
"Nah I can drive, leggo!" We walked out to her car and she had the sandwich hanging out of her mouth as she started the car
"Why are we in Javier's truck? Where's your little Porsche?" I asked as I struggled to hop in
"He took the wrong keys this morning when he left for his appointment" She managed to say with the sandwich still in her mouth. It was honestly gross but extremely funny at the same time
"Oh wow, how's he doing?" I asked once I finally strapped on my seat belt
"He's doing fine. He said they caught the cancer in it's early stage and they're just going to take things one step at a time to remove it" Her eyes were just barely over the steering wheel, it was making me nervous
"That's great they caught it early. I hope he pulls through this" I said
"He will, Javier's the strongest man I've ever met. This is probably nothing to him but it's still scary and terrifying. I hate how he doesn't want me to go to his appointments" She sighed
"Why doesn't he?"
"Because he doesn't want me to see him weak and vulnerable on the little bed in the room. So he asks me to stay home."
"We've seen everybody weak and vulnerable whenever they cry. Which is just about at everything" I laughed
"They're true thugs but they sure as hell ain't afraid to show their emotions or take hours to put on an outfit" Riley laughed even harder
"That be our thugs" I calmed down my laughs. So Riley and I had our own little errands to run and we finally made time to actually do em!
~1 Hour Later~
"I'm driving on the way home. You really had me scared the entire time we were on the road" I said as I basically sky fell out of the truck
"Fine. But oh my god I'm so excited! We're finally picking out your wedding dress!" she yelled with so much excitement.
That's right.
Wedding Dress.
Riley and I have been secretly starting to plan out my wedding. We just started planning about an hour ago but we both were so excited to try on all the dresses. When Bailey gets the day off and Renee isn't busy, they'll come with us for the bridesmaids dresses
We walked in and the place was filled with all kinds of dresses! There were so many gorgeous dresses all hanging on the endless lines of racks
"Where do we even start?" Riley asked with her mouth opened in amazement
"I don't even know. Why don't we start from the back and work our way to the front?" I suggested still staring at the dresses in aw.
~Half An Hour Later~
"Oh my god. Boo. Look at this one." I walked around to her rack and in front of me was the most perfect dress I'd ever seen.
I took the dress and tried it on. I walked out and looked in the 180 mirror. Looking at myself in the dress only made it more surreal. I was actually going to be walking down the isle and marrying Lexis.
"Awh Boo Ima cry! You look so gorgeous!" Riley said as she looked me up and down
"Don't cry! remember when we went to get your dress? We were bawling and a mess when we finally left with the dress, don't start crying" I laughed
"I remember, and alright, alright I won't cry, but oh my god this is just so great! I can't wait to see you finally walk down the isle!"
"I'm taking this one. I ont give a fuck about the price or nun. Can we keep the dress at your house? I don't want the boys looking through the house and stumble upon it"
"You know I got chu, alright go change and we'll pay for it" I walked back into my changing room and carefully slipped myself out of it. I kinda started to tear up just because we were actually going to be married. I still can't believe it!
~Trey P.O.V~
"Come on Trey! Just 5 more push ups! Quit being a bitch!" You would think DeShawn or Jacob was yelling at me right? No. That would be my Honey.
"Honey!" I said with a deep exhale
"2 More!" She yelled right in my ear. Mind you, she's sitting on my back yelling at me. "There you go" She hopped off my back and gave me a kiss. I hated P.E because my teacher actually made us work.
"Thanks for the kiss, it made it all worth it, but you can't sit on me while I'm doin push ups. That makes em too hard to do" I laughed
"Yeah but you did it! Plus your reward is a kiss from me" She wrapped herself around me and together we walked to the drinking fountain
I bent down and took a long sip of water before letting Honey take a sip.
"How much time we got left in this class?" I asked
"5 more minutes, she wants us to sit down and stretch to cool down" We walked back inside the gym and sat in our roll call. Luckily for us, I sat right behind Honey, her last name started with P and mine was S so we ended up being close by.
~After Class~
I was changed and waiting for Honey to come out of the locker room.
I saw her walk out and she straight up mugged every girl that walked out. Honey hates other girls because of all the bitching they do. So in return Honey is a straight up bitch to every single one except her LoLo.
"Don't you just look so happy" I laughed
"All their dumb drama. "oh my god, he cheated on me with my best friend" well then bitch you should have stepped up your damn game and make sure you was better than your best friend, or tell your friend to quit bein a damn ho. It is not that hard to solve a problem like that." She rolled her eyes
"You are definitely something else" I saw Dad sitting in the front of the school in Mom's car "Love you Honey Buns, text me after your boxing match" I gave her a kiss and she just nodded. I walked up to the passenger side of the car and hopped right in
"Sup child?" Dad asked
"Nun, is that Angelique?" I asked in a high pitched tone that made her look at me with a funny look
"Yes that is. We're watchin her for Uncle Chewy and Aunt Renee. How was school?"
"I hate P.E"
"That's because you're lazy. This is your last year of it, make it count" DeShawn hopped in and was startled when he saw Angelique in the back "Sup other child?"
"I'm hella tired, n we watchin Angelique now?" He laughed
"You guessed it. Sit in the middle so Ty get's the window" He said as he sped off from the school
"Where's Mom?" I yawned
"She's with Aunt Riley, y'all wanna go to the trap after I get Ty? I have some shit to do and I don't wanna drive all the way to the house then all the way back" He said as he made a sharp U turn
"Yeah I'm down, what about Angelique?" DeShawn said
"You're in charge, DeShawn"
"Why can't I?" I whined
"hell no. I don't even trust you anymore since you let Mom's fish die. You had one job and you still failed at it. Now your Mom won't leave me alone about getting a new fish" He laughed a little but quickly stopped
"Sorry!" I yelled in between laughs
"you're buying her a new one. Oh and DeShawn, Leah wants you just for the weekend. She's going camping and wants you to come with her. It's just for a night then you'll be back in my house"
"I don't wanna go, but fine" He sighed
"I know, but just make her happy for the weekend then you won't have to see her for like another 8 weeks" He smiled through the rear view mirror. I decided to tune them out and put my ear buds in.
