I know my words had stung him, and I will never blame him for getting angry at me. I knew how much I was hurting him, but my mom was right; I'm never going to be good enough to love. I couldn't bare to see the pain in his eyes, so I looked at anything but him.
His breath slowed down, and after forever, he spoke.
