***RECAP***

Noah's POV

“Can you sign my shirt?” Lily asked timidly. We took turns signing it in red Sharpie (Alex had to pull me up) and Lily walked out the door with a happy “See ya!” Angie smiled at Alex, Isaac, and Shane, gave me a cold glare, and walked out the door.

“How old are you, Angel?” I yelled through the doorway.

“17!” she answered back, sounding highly amused. I nodded, checked out her fine ass until it turned around the corner, and slammed the door.

“Dude,” Alex said after a moment. “You got your ass kicked by a girl.”

Chapter 4

“Angie wake up!” Lily demanded. I groaned.

“I'm too tired to ever wake up again,” I groaned into my cheap pillow.

“You promised that we could spend the whole day at the beach!” Lily complained. I sighed.

“Fine, fine. I'm up,” I said groggily, stretching.

I walked out of the bathroom five minutes later in a pair of worn out basketball shorts and a black tank top.

“Oh no,” Lily said, shaking her head at me. “You're wearing this.” I caught the thing that she tossed at me and looked at her in horror.

“Is this a bikini?” I asked in disbelief. Lily nodded happily.

“I went out and bought them when I woke up!”

“But why?”

“We needed to look hot!” Lily declared. “I think it's about damn time!”

I looked at her determined face and sighed, resigned, and put on the bikini. I looked into the dirty mirror above the sink in the small bathroom. I actually didn't look half bad. The bikini was the exact color of my eyes and went well with my pale skin.

I walked out to see Lily in a bright pink bikini. She tossed me a bottle of sunscreen.

“Put it on,” she ordered.

“Thank god,” I said happily as I lathered myself with the greasy sunscreen.

“I don't want you burning up,” Lily said laughing. “C'mon let's go.” I grabbed my duffel bag and my guitar, not wanting them to get stolen when we were gone.

The bus dropped us off at the closest beach. Lily was so excited she nearly wet herself.

“It's just a beach Lily,” I said laughing.

“I've never been to a beach before!” she said jumping up and down.

“Race you to the water,” I said taking off my flip flops.

“Go!” Lily yelled.

Noah's POV

I threw the piece of notebook paper into the ocean beneath my cliff in anger. It drifted slowly in the water coming to a halt on the beach below.

I groaned in frustration and covered my eyes with both of my hands. What was wrong with me? Why couldn't I write a stupid song?

I knew why of course. When I wrote a song I wrote a duet, for both Stacey and me. Most people thought that Stacey wrote most of our songs, but all she did was sing what was already written for her. I was glad she was gone.

But I really needed another girl singer.

I sighed. As much as I had told Shane that it would be no problem finding another lead singer, it probably was. I didn't want to hold auditions where desperate girls would come rushing up to me begging for an autograph and all talking at once with their annoying high pitched voices. Sure it was nice when I could get a good fuck in but still. Sometimes a guy needs some alone time.

I broke away my though when I heard the slight rustle of steps a murmur of voices. Who the hell was coming to my cliff spot?!

“Are you sure that we're allowed to be up here?” a familiar soft voice asked uncertainty.

“I'm completely sure that we're not allowed to be up here,” an even more familiar, stronger voice said. The two girls came into view wearing only bikinis.

Damn. Angie may be viscous but she could wear a bikini. My eyes raked over her well formed body, with her ivory skin gleaming in the weak sunlight, and her curves falling down to her firm ass.

Stop it Noah, I ordered myself, shaking my head.

I was about to yell at the two of them for interrupting my song writing when I saw what Angie had with her. A guitar.

So instead I hid behind a boulder like a creep so that they wouldn't glimpse me.

“What are we doing her anyways?” Lily asked spreading out a towel.

“I want to play,” Angie said firmly planting herself on the sand.

Lily groaned. “Angie you play everyday at home! We could be surfing right now!”

Angie laughed. It was a nice rich laugh and made me smile automatically. “Lily you barely got into the water. How do you expect to stay up on a surfboard?”

“I'm taking a nap then,” Lily mumbled stretching out on her towel. She was asleep in a few minutes. Angie smiled at her and took grabbed a notebook out her orange duffel bag. On the front it said Lyrics.

Did she sing?

Angie stared at the notebook for a second and sighed. She set it down next to her, opened it, and bit her lip, probably deciding what to play. Finally she started strumming.

And out came a simply angelic voice that I had never expected.

Why can't things be simple

Like they were back then?

Does someone up their hate me?

What did I do to them?

I feel like a little kid

Lost, hopeless, and scared

I wish I could just go back

Back to when fate was fair

If I could rewind time

I'd go back to when there was hope

When I laughed all day

And screamed and played

And when I was sure of your hearts

When there wasn't any doubts

If I could rewind time

You always told me

Everything would be alright

But now you're all gone

And you left me all alone

You will never talk to me

Like you did back then

You hurt me so much

I want you back

If I could rewind time

I'd go back to when there was hope

When I laughed all day

And screamed and played

And when I was sure of your hearts

When there wasn't any doubts

If I could rewind time

If I could rewind time

If I could rewind time

She stopped playing and just stared out into the ocean. My mouth was open but unlike the last time my jaw had dropped because of her it wasn't due to her body.

It was because of her voice.

She turned her head towards Lily and I was startled to see tears on her face, making her eyes even bluer than before. She wiped her eyes with the back of her hand and roused Lily.

“C'mon Lily. Let's leave. I'll teach how to not drown,” she said with a small smile.

“Are you sure?” Lily asked uncertaintly.

“Yeah, let's make the most of L.A.,” Angie responded, packing up her guitar. The two of them left.

I sat there behind the boulder with only one thought running through my mind.

Her voice was just another reason for me to call her Angel.
