a random girl approached me,
handing me a cup of coffee.
oh wait, it isn't.
she had a sweet smile on her face,
definitely opposite of what i have on mine.
it reminded me of something i used to love.
someone i still love, rather.
i don't know who she is,
or where she's from,
or what she wants from me,
but i couldn't care less;
i couldn't care anymore.
i'm just too empty,
too desperate for something to fill up the space,
the void that makes every inch of my being ache.
she asked me how my day was;
(god, she's too kind.)
and i simply answer:
"horrible."
