Thoughts.
I guess that's how most this starts.
You just detach from reality for a while as you sink into your mind scape.
Thinking or not thinking.
People see it as staring unblinking,
Blankly off into space.
Sometimes it is.
Not thinking.
Just gone.
But...
Sometimes it's not.
Sometimes it's a thought.
Mixed with this disconnection.
And if you say that sleep will help, it doesn't.
Closing your eyes and going into places from this uncomfortable bed into non-existent dreams...
Getting off this bed is the only thing that sleep does for me.
Because it's all still there when I close my eyes so why fight it.
Minds cradled in the ashes of a doused fire, smoke whispering words of
Hazy lies while it walls you in.
It seems light it just a trick of its self.
It's easier to think no one cares.
It's easier to tell myself being alone will fix things.
