My sister asked my mother,
Do you want to hear my poetry?
She said yes and praised about it to the family.
Then there's me,
Do you want to hear my poetry?
I asked
My mother simply didn't answer
As if my voice doesn't deserve her attention.
My voice felted betrayed and smothered
Do you want to hear my poetry?
I won't ask again.
