TAYLORS POV
It's a rainy monday when I arrive at the Cortez. I was in a vacation, so I thought it could be nice to stay at a lovely hotel near the centre. As i open the doors of the building, a spacious, lit reception is found. I admire the structure and the building, with a long, golden stair and red like blood carpets.
I go to the reception whete I find a old lady, whit big glasses and a red jumper on.
-hello. May I help you?- she says
- uhm...good morning. I have a reservation under the name of Taylor Kinney.
-...yes. Here are the keys of room 21, if you need any help call me. Liz will lead you to your room.-
With that ,she leaves as a tall, bald drag queen , with heavy make-up and a green,fluttering dress comes towards me.
- you must be Liz, right?
-yes, as you heard pretty face-
We go up the stair and I follow her until we stop in front of my room
- here we are. If you need something, there's a phone on the nightstand. There is a bar on the first floor, if you wanna come you'll find me there. -
Those being said, she leaves me alone in my room.
I take in my surroundings: there is a nice king-sized bed, a bathroom and a closet, a table and some more furniture. I put my things away and I decide to go to the bar.
Once I arrive, Liz welcomes me with a vodka shot. I thank her, and start to drink when suddenly I sense a presence beside me. I turn around and i see a woman that seems in her thirties, whit long,blonde hair, cold but captivating green eyes. She is wearing a blue dress that hugs all of her curves, together with high-heeled stilettos and shiny jewellery.
I must have been staring at her weirdly, because she smiles an says:
-Liz, please give this handsome man your special drink. -
Then she turns to me, smiles and with a fast movement her hand is on my tight
-You must be new here . What brings you to the Cortez?-
-uhm ... I am on a vacation-
-_well I hope you enjoy your stay, I will now go. When we'll meet again I will show you around.
With that, she winks at me, looks at my face and leaves, leaving me with a lot of questions and her perfume invading my mind.
-Who is this young lady?- I ask Liz.
-Young? Whatever. She is the Countess. I wouldn't hang out with her if I were you. She may be looking like an angel , but she is none for sure. Also, a kast advice:whatch your back. This hotel won't let you have it that easily.-
Then she leaves too, and I wonder what she may gave meant with that.
