Lily is perfectly fine. Honestly, she is. It's not like she cares. She doesn't.
Lily doesn't feel hurt every time she thinks about that night. She doesn't wish he would explain. She doesn't hope that he'll pull her into some unused corridor and tell her it was a sick joke, red. The lads made me do it. She doesn't hope that he was forced. She doesn't think about him.
Lily made herself promise one thing—pretend Regulus Black was never a part of her life. She's doing fairly well.
She actually doesn't notice his stares. Lily spends a lot more time with Sirius and Remus—that Potter is still a nuisance—and she's always around someone. It's not like she's afraid, because she's not, but Regulus is a Death Eater—something she thought he was incapable of being—so she guesses anything can happen now.
He's a Death Eater. He's the enemy. He's the reason I'm not me.
