"Well I didn't start it, so I'm screwed" A brunette with messy hair and bright blue eyes says randomly popping out of nowhere, wrapping his arms around Harry and Liam.

"L-Louis you'll g-get in t-trouble again" Liam says quietly, frowning at his best friend. "Well Liam, it's been three years and I have not done a single essay here. Hazza does it for me anyways"

Harry moves him arm, "Not this time, I have my own to finish" Louis sucks his teeth, "You suck" he pouts, making sure to nudge his arm.

"And you swallow, if I recall that's what you did last night" Harry says making Liam burst into contagious giggles.

Liam cringes, "Gu-Guys!"

"What?" They ask in unison. "I-I don't w-want to hear your f-f-friends with benefits c-crap" he finally manages out.

"Look Liam, you're our friend. You have to listen, it's a sacred rule mate. Besides, you're used to it" Louis says patting his back with a fond smile.

Apparently Harry and Louis have a friends with benefits things and still are bestfriends.

Liam doesn't know how they do it but he's sure they'll end up together at the end of the school year.

Harry rolls his eyes, "Why do I put up with you?" "Because you like eating my ass" Louis says making Liam wrinkle his nose.

"You're making Liam uncomfortable!" "Oh he's fine, aren't cha Liam?" Louis asks, grinning at the younger man. Liam nods, "Li-Like you said, I-I'm used to i-it"

"There we go! Anyways Liam, be a pal, be a life saver, be a doll face, and do my essay for me?" Louis asks making Harry shake his head

"No Liam"

Liam shrugs, "O-Okay" Louis freezes for a moment making Liam stumble when he's yanked back, his teal eyes stare at him in disbelief.

"What did I just say!? You don't have to do that, let the hermit do it himself" Harry says making Louis shove him out the way, he gets down on his knee holding his hand.

"God bless you Liam James Payne, God bless your soul" Liam faces turns a bright red, looking around.

"L-Louis, people a-are s-staring" "Fuck them, you have a heart of gold man" he says getting up to kiss his forehead

"Liam why, just tell me why" Harry begs.

"Well I f-f-finished my es-essay," Liam takes a breath to recollect himself. "S-So why not?"

Louis smiles, "You're beautiful, be my friends with benefits instead of that hag. He won't even give me answers on tests" he says sliding down the pole of the steps while the other two walk down

"Because that's not allowed!" "You know what Harry, were besties. Besties help eachother out and that means sharing answers. I get thrown out? You're coming with me bitch," Louis says making Harry roll his eyes.

"That means you too Liam, I'm gonna drag your ass in this too. Don't think we forgot about your quiet ass, ride or die" Louis adds, giving him a look making Liam laugh.

"Liam is too smart to be dragged in your shenanigans" "I don't even know what the fuck that is, English Harry. We speak English here"

Liam shakes his head at his two friends. He was really glad to have them, he didn't think he'd make many friends in college

In highschool, he didn't have any because of his stutter. The only friends he had were the teachers and faculty, that's probably why people called him the teacher's pet

In college, he only has Louis and Harry. He met Harry in the library, he was looking for a book to read but he was afraid to talk to anyone because they might laughed at him.

But he didn't, Harry just gave him a warm smile directing him to the books that he wanted

They became fast friends, Harry didn't care for Liam's stutter. Harry has a cousin who stutters too, so it was like being with his cousin.

With Louis, he met him outside the college with Harry when they were leaving their last class.

They had gotten into an argument about Harry talking to some other guy and Louis being jealous and possessive, the usual.

Liam had stood in the back watching the two, then he cringed when Harry stormed off leaving Liam alone. He was scared to be left alone, especially with Louis who he didn't know too well.

He didn't know if he'd make fun of him, that was what most of the people here did when they realize he stutters.

Liam remembers the scowl on Louis' face and how he asked who he was rudely, and he wanted nothing more to run away and hide.

As soon as the first stutter came out of Liam's mouth, Louis' face had soften immediately.

But Liam thinks he only did that because he felt bad for him.

Louis had treated him to lunch to vent about his feelings though Liam had never asked about them, but he was willing to listen.

He always listens since he couldn't really speak that well.

The brunette remembers Louis telling him he was great at listening, then he asked if they could be friends.

At first he was hesitant because Louis was loud and very extra, and Liam was small and quiet but opposites do attract.

Turns out Louis didn't care for Liam's stutter, he cared more about having sex with Harry more. Louis told him that personally and Liam was glad.

Besides Louis was very patient with him. The first time Liam really began talking with him, Louis has responded as if he didn't take so long stuttering.

That's what Liam likes about Louis, he was the type of person who wouldn't make fun of you unless he didn't like you.

But somehow it worked, all three of them worked.

They soon became brothers almost, Liam was like the baby of the trio. Louis and Harry we're always there to defend him from ignorant people, and he was blessed for that

Liam blindly bumps into a hard chest making him fall on his butt. He winces, his whole face feeling hot in embarrassment

"Shit, are you okay?" A deep voice asks, leaning down to help Liam up. "I-I'm fine" he says, staring at the ground as he dusts himself off.

"You sure? I wasn't paying attention" he asks, Liam nods, he was about to bend down and pick up his bookbag until a tattooed arm grabbed it before him.

Liam looks up meeting a pair of bright hazel eyes. "Sorry handsome" he says, handing him the bag.

Liam swallows hard, "T-T-Th-" he stops himself taking his bookbag, he quickly puts it on fast walking away.

He didn't want this guy to laugh at his stutter and how hard it was to get out a single world.

He doesn't need another person making fun of him.

"Wait!" Liam hears the stranger yell, where the fuck was Louis and Harry? Liam stops to look, the tattooed man was following after him.

"What's your name?" He says, standing infront of him. "L-Liam" "Full name"

Liam frowns staring at his combat boots, "L-Liam P-Payne" "Middle name?" He asks cheekily.

"J-James" Liam says, his face already hot. The tan man smiles, his tongue sticking out slightly. "I'm Zayn Malik," he says bending down to catch Liam's eyes.

"Can you look at me? I'd like to see those pretty eyes of yours" he says making Liam want to hide under a rock.

Liam shakes his head. Zayn frowns, "Well that's sad, cause you're really cute" Liam's cheeks turn red as his palms get sweaty, a guy has never hit on him before

"Th-thank you?" Liam's heart stutters hearing Zayn's chuckle, it was so deep yet sweet. "Well can I see you later, maybe?"

Liam swallows hard shrugging, "I-In school" Zayn smiles, "Yeah in school of course, but out of school? I'd like to get to know you"

"Y-You don't kn-know me" "But I'd like too" Zayn says softly, waiting for the younger man to look at him.

"I-I gotta go-go" Liam says with a slight wave, walking around the man. "I'll see you later then! And I'll find out what color those eyes are too!" Zayn shouts after him, Liam feels a smile spread across his face at that

"Where the hell have you been?! You've got to get started with my essay!" Louis scoffs when he spots Liam rushing over.

"Louis, shut the fuck up. Where'd you go Liam?"

"I-I bumped i-into someone" "Who?" Liam shrugs, "Ne-New" he says, opening Harry's car door.

"Was he hot?" "Why does that matter?" Harry asks, getting behind the wheel making Louis scoffs sitting in the passenger seat.

"Harold, if the guy is hot then it means he has a nice dick. Liam can get some of that nice dick"

Liam huffs quietly, putting in his seatbelt annoying the bickering from the front. His heart was stammering hard, he had fell on his ass and met a guy who wants to know his full name, his eye color wants to get to know him

Liam couldn't wipe that shy smile off his face, he had to hide it a couple times so his two friends didn't notice
