Chapter 1 : Reminiscing the Past

"Wow! Amazing nee-chan! Can you do that again?" A beaming orange hair kid asked her sister and his eyes are sparkling in amazement while looking at her sister. "Of course Shoyo! but you also need to practice on taekwondo alright? Big sister will help you if you any trouble!" A young teenage girl told his little brother.
"Hai nee-chan!" answered by his little brother. And the two practiced so hard. Kicking and punching the air like there is a real opponent in front of them. Hours passed, the two almost struggle to breath due to exhaustion that they felt. They sat down and after a few seconds, both plopped on the floor, panting so hard.
"I needed to get stronger to be a strong black belter." The young orange haired girl said to herself.

Karasuno High School
"Calling all students, please assemble in the gym for we will announce our overall champion and for the best sport athlete of the year winner for this sports festival."
The students immediately went to the gym for the most exciting and long awaited award giving ceremony but a certain Kanna Hinata just walked slowly and sipping her favorite strawberry milk while her eyes travelled toward the sky boringly. "This is a pain in the neck" She thought to herself. She sighed and throws the empty carton of strawberry milk she sipped in the trash can. She continued walking and suddenly, someone slapped her on the back.
"HEY!" Someone shouted beside her ear which scared the heck out of her. She looked on the side and saw her one and only Keishin Ukai. She grew an irk mark and decided to slap her boyfriend, in the head, so hard. "What the heck was that for?!" She shouted. But instead of answering her, he just chuckled and laughed hard. Luckily, there is no one around them to see what is going on. She just sighed and put her right hand in her head and leaned on the wall.
That action caused Ukai to shut his mouth and looked at her with concern. "Are you alright? Are you tired from your match?" Ukai asked her girlfriend. The girl shake her head side to side indicates that nothing is wrong yet Ukai is not convinced. He moved closer and puts his arm around his dearly beloved and moved her head to his chest. The young girl leaned closer and closed her eyes to feel more comfort from him. "Tell me what's wrong please." The boy almost pleaded.
The girl opened her eyes and stared at Ukai's eyes. She broke their small loving moment and faced him. "I might leave Miyagi." She said quietly and avoided her partner's eyes. Ukai's eyes grew a bit larger for a bit. "Eh?! Why?!" He asked exaggeratedly. "Coach told me that I might be too good for him to handle and my parents decided that I will move in Tokyo after graduation to have a better education and to get new training regime from a new coach. I might get qualified in the nationals." She explained with a sad voice. "I'm sorry. Please don't angry at me." She added and her voice cracked as she said those words to him.
Keishin's eyes are hooded for a few seconds and suddenly, he grabbed her shoulders which made her looked at him in the eyes. "Ok listen to me for a bit. I know that this might sound a bit crazy for you but first of all, I am not angry at you, alright? I fully understand and I think this is a great opportunity for you to grab. Not all athletes here in our school can get that golden chance. Don't let it slip from your hands and do not worry about me, I will be fine. And lastly, I will fully support you till the very end, Kanna." He said to her lovingly. Her eyes widen and her tears dropped. She hugged Ukai tightly and he hugged her back and let her sink in his chest. "Let's make the remaining days memorable for both of us." He whispered to her and she just nodded. He kissed the top most of her hair and continued hugging her.
The whole school doesn't know about them, only the two of them knew about their relationship. Not even Kanna's and Ukai's closest friend knew about their official relationship but they have been together for 2 years. Talk about being secretive huh. The wild looking, Keishin Ukai got tamed by the one of the most athletic, smart, cool and beautiful student, Kanna Hinata. Most men would die for her just to be have her hand but those men just got beaten by the one and only Ukai. Most of the students in their school feared Keishin due to his appearance and the way he looks people but Kanna seemed to be unfazed of it. And because of that, a flower bloomed between them.

"Look one-chan! I got my black belt now!" Hinata shoyo told her sister with a happy tone. She looked at her brother with a smile and she felt proud for him. All of her brother's hardworks paid off at last. She got her Black belt when she was 15 years old and now, she is a pro and she surpasses her old coach. "Congratiolations sho-chan! So what is your plan after this?" She asked. The sparkle in his brother's eyes suddenly faded and replaced with a curious and serious one.
"Uhm... Let me see. Hmm..." Shoyo thinked for a bit. Then suddenly he remembered that day when he saw a volleyball match on t.v. "I want to be a volleyball player!" He suddenly said to her sister. She was surprised for a bit then decided to support him instead. "Ok Sho-chibi-chan, do whatever you heart's want. Don't let others bother you." She said with a smile then pinched her brother's puffy cheeks. "Ittai nee-chan!" Shoyo exclaimed. "Sho-chibi-chan kawaii!" She giggled a bit. "I am not kawaii! More like kako-i!"He huffed and her sister just laughed at him. Suddenly her phone vibrated. She opened her phone and saw a text message from her boyfriend.
From: Kei-kun
Subject: Meet up
Hey kanna-chan, I was wondering if we could have a little date today, if it is alright to you. I know you are pretty busy lately. Sorry to bother you.
You looked at your phone and smiled. You immediately replied to him.
To: Kei-kun
Subject: Meet up
Oh come on kei-kun. Don't worry, actually I need a time off in everything. So meet me up in the park?
And sent!
"Nee-chan, why are you smiling on your phone? Are you turning into a crazy person?" she snapped out from her small daydreaming and faced his brother with a sheepish grin. "No sho-chan. Ah by the way, are you all right by yourself? Nee-chan is going to meet up with a friend, is it all right?" She asked her brother. "Mmm! I'm big enough so I could handle myself and also! I will protect our little sister!" he said with a hint of pride in his voice. She smiled dearly to his brother and pats his head. "I am so proud of you, my little brother." She said. She looked at the clocked and bid a small farewell to his younger brother.
She dashed with her bike until she got in the park. There, she saw his boyfriend, SMOKING. Oh how she hates it when someone smoked. Kei saw her and almost choked. He threw his unfinished cigarette to the ground and stomped it over. He looked at her girlfriend with an apologetic look on his face. She raised an eyebrow and sighed as she walks towards him.
"Kei-kun, you know how much I hate it when you smoke right?" she said in a calm tone. He flinched because he knew that he was dead but suddenly she smiled and he looked at her oddly. "I know, you remembered that my birthday will be tomorrow and you decided to surprise me, is it?" he looked at her with a defeated sigh on his lips but then it was replaced with a sunny smile. "Yeah. So let's make this memorable shall we?" he extended his hand and she gladly took it.
The two have fun together all day. Smiling, giggling, eating on their favorite café and celebrating Kanna's birthday early. But little did Ukai knew, there is something not right will happen between them.
The sunset was gorgeous to see. The couple sits on a tiny hill under a tree, gazing and savoring their moments. Suddenly, Kanna stood up with a hooded expression on her face and this got Ukai concerned. He also stood up as well and walked over her. "Hey, what's wrong?" He asked in his most gentle voice. "I think that we should separate." She said directly to him.
The world suddenly stopped in front of Keishin's eyes as he looked at her with a disbelieving expression. "What?" Ukai replied. Of all the things he wanted to say, that is the only word he spouted unto her. She looked at him with a tear stained face. "You know, it is really hard for me too but I think it is for the best. We will meet new people, Kei, especially me. I will move in a new city. I am not saying that I am trying to find another guy. It is just that, it is so damn hard not to see each other. I really love you from the bottom of my heart. I cherish those moments and memories you have given to me. It's just that—" She didn't finished what she said and broke down in front of him and he hugged her tight. Scared of losing her yet he already felt that he lost her. "It's alright, it's alright. It is not your fault. But remember this, if I saw you someday on your own. I will make you mine again and I will never let you go but if you found someone else, be happy and smile because I will support you up to the very end of my life, Kanna. And that is my vow to you, forever." He hugged her tight and suddenly tears escaped from his eyes.
"Kei-kun." She muttered his name and in his ears, that is the sound of angel in his ears. Kanna pulled her in a passionate kiss with tears along it. They pulled and looked at each other's eyes.
"Goodbye, Kei-kun."
~BZZT BZZT BZZT~
A young woman rose up from her bed and shut off her alarm clock. Jeez... that alarm was annoying. She thought to herself. She looked at her window and heard the busy streets outside. That dream, more like memory. Gosh how many years I have been away again? She got up and stretched her arms until there was a satisfying crack heard. She went to the bathroom and brushed her teeth and washed her face. Gosh, I really miss him so hard. I wonder if he got married now. She thought again but in the most hurtful and negative way. She cooked her breakfast and brewed her coffee, after a few minutes of preparation, she ate quietly and checked her phone for updates. There's nothing new. Damn, I need to hit up the gym and practice taekwondo and martial arts. She said again to herself.
After fixing everything, she went to the bathroom and took a bath. After that, she got dressed and her outfit consist of gray sweatpants, running shoes and plain dark green shirt. She gather the things she needed and went outside. She went in the parking lot and then suddenly her phone vibrated. The message was from her brother.
From: Sho-chibi-chan :3
Subject: TOKYO!
NEE-CHAN! I AM GOING TO TOKYO NEXT MONTH! WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A PRACTICE MATCH AGAINST THOSE STUDENTS WHO WERE FROM TOKYO!! I WAS WONDERING IF WE COULD MEET UP AGAIN! I MISS YOU NEE-CHAN!
Kanna almost gawked at the message but smiled afterwards. She immediately replied to her brother's message.
To: Sho-chibi-chan :3
Subject: Alright
Ok chibi-chaaan. I hope I ccould see you again. Just send me your location when you got here. Ciao~ Nee-chan also misses you.
And sent.
She grabbed her car key and drove her Range Rover to her training center. I wonder how much chibi-chan has grown over the past years. Maah, I am going to see it by myself.
