Chapter 11: Carried Away
Kit’s POV
“Kitten?” he asked tentatively.
“Yea?” I said quietly.
“I have to tell you something to.”
“Okay”
“I-I’m a werewolf, and you’re my soulmate”
I was just about ready to burst out laughing, but the sincere and very worrisome stare told me otherwise. It all made sense now, that possessive yet caring glint he carried when I was around another guy, the growls here and there and most of all the raw animalistic vibe of power he always seemed to give off.
“Kit? Kit??” I snapped out of my train of thought and looked up at him; he seemed scared almost afraid that I was going to run for the hills if he let me go.
“Zander, I still love you, regardless of how human you are. I’ve fallen for all of you and I’m willing to accept it all” he held me tight.
“I love you too Kitten, so so much” he said with so much emotion, I felt like it was wrapped in it protectively.
“Can you show me?” I asked him with my best puppy eyes. He groaned, very loud might I add.
“You know I can’t resist those eyes, but you’re going to need to stand back” he said with a smirk. I did as I was told and started to take his clothes off, I blushed profusely and he just chuckled when I turned away. I heard a loud yip and turned. Where Zander was standing a few seconds ago was a massive wolf, I would have been afraid had it not been for the playful demeanor in his eyes. I slowly took a few steps forwards and tentatively reached out a hand to pet his muzzle. He leaned into my touch and closed his eyes.
After he changed back, we spoke and he explained it all to me, I was amazed. It was as if it was all out of a fantasy. After a while of talking it out and everything Zander looked me straight in the eyes with a grin so big I thought his face would split in half. “Move in with me” he said.
“What?” I replied, quite stunned.
“It’s perfect, I get to see you every day, we can spend much more time together between my alpha business and your reading, you’re on break from work and Uni doesn’t start for another 4 more months.” He said almost jumping with excitement.
“Hmmm…Okay” I said, but then an idea popped into my head “I will move in with you on one condition” I grinned mischievously.
“Oh no!” he groaned out “Not this again, Quinn made me do it last week” he exclaimed.
Zander’s POV
“Then I guess I can’t move in can I?” she said smiling. I knew that expression it’s the exact same expression Quinn gave when he was blackmailing me into it, let’s just say he has incriminating pictures of me wearing a dress for a dare.
“Fine! I’ll do it but you have to pack everything tonight with me and move in tomorrow morning at the pack house” I replied hesitantly. She started cheering like crazy. Last week Quinn kindly asked (note the sarcasm)for me to watch a Twilight marathon and now Kitten wants me to do a Harry Potter one.
“WOOT WOOT, HERE I COME HARRY AVADA KADAVRA MOFOS” she yelled out. Thank god the cabin was sound proof. I couldn’t help but notice how cute she was, my little potterhead bookworm mate. I chuckled at the thoughts swirling through my head and she pouted very cutely might I add.
“What?”
“Nothing you’re just very cute” I replied after pinching her soft cheeks.
She swatted my hands away and stood in front of me with her hands on her hips trying to look intimidating, but failed as soon as I stood up towering over her tiny form, she still glared at me very intensely. I just bent forwards and gave her an Eskimo kiss, her gaze softened and she gave me one back. “Let’s go and pack my things” she said.
She grabbed her presents and we left, when we reached her dorm we began packing. She had a lot of books almost 4 boxes full, I started packing her clothes and noticed something; Kitten wasn’t facing me so I pointed it out. She flushed crimson and reached for it but I was too fast and taller so she couldn’t reach it.
“Zander, give it back” she yelled trying to jump for my arm that was carrying one of her bras high in the air.
“Fine, but just remember one day you’ll be begging me to take it off of you” I winked and replied cheekily she flushed even more and smacked my arm after getting it back. She began to play music as we were packing and it was perfect because we kept play fighting at one point she threw glitter all over me.
“You know you’d make a great male stripper, glitter suits you and now dance” she laughed out and I tackled her into a hug, she didn’t even flinch and that just warmed my heart. I could hear the lyrics perfectly describing our situation. (A/N please listen to the song, it’s actually so perfect for this chapter it’s on the side and it’s called Carried Away by Passion Pit)

After finally packing everything up I called the guys and had them help me load the boxes into 2 cars. I kissed Kit on the cheek and told her I’d pick her up tomorrow at 5 in the morning, she whined about it being too early, but I reminded her about our little Harry Potter deal, she agreed.
When I got into the car with Jake and Will, Jake coughed out “Whipped”.
I simply turned to him and said “Just wait till we get home and you see your mate and get all lovey dovey, I’m not going to let you live it down” I grinned evilly and he just gulped.
I reached home and set all of her things up and went to sleep with much difficulty considering how excited I was.
Kit’s POV
I packed my most important necessities I had kept so I could get dressed this morning in a duffle bag, I went down stairs and saw Zander was already there. After a silent but not awkward drive to the pack house, I was unbelievably nervous. Zander squeezed my hand and gave me a reassuring look we stepped out of the car.
I was stunned to say at the least, it was like a palace. “Close your mouth honey, you might catch flies” I heard Zander laughing.
We went to the back the interior of the house was even more amazing then the exterior, in the back was a vast clearing and a forest beyond that and within the clearing hundreds of people. “Umm Zander why are there so many people?” he smiled sheepishly at me.
“I may or may not have forgotten to tell you that I’m the Alpha of the largest and strongest ranked pack in the world” he said guiltily. I was just about to lash out at him but before I could he cleared his throat and everyone faced us. “Echelon Pack meet your new Luna!!” he yelled out.
They all cheered and welcomed me with open arms, it brought me to tears, and I finally felt accepted. “Are you okay Kitten? What’s wrong?” he asked wiping my tears.
I just shook my head smiled “Nothing, I’m just really happy” he hugged me and rubbed soothing circles on back and kissed the top of my head softly.
I heard three very loud squeals and turned to see Shay and another girl “Shay!!! What are you doing here??” she just giggled and Damon wrapped his arm around her waist.
“I’m Damon’s mate and I live here too!!” we hugged each other and turned the other girl who had a guy beside her, I guess that was her mate.
“OH MY GOD YOU AND MY BROTHER ARE SO CUTE AGGHH” she yelled out. We all just laughed. Zander went with the other warriors (men and women trained werewolves) for alpha business. I spoke with Nina his sister and Shay and learned a lot about her.
After they had finished Alpha business we had a very laughter and joke filled dinner. We all watched a movie. All the guys were complaining about watching chick flicks, but the ladies were adamant, we decided to watch P.S. I Love You. About halfway through the movie I heard sniffling.
I turned to find the source; there was Jake, Quinn and Will crying!!!! I burst out into fits of laughter it was too funny. Everyone looked at me as if I’d gone bonkers. I couldn’t even manage to form words in between gasping for air and laughing, I just pointed towards them and everyone laughed as well.
Their mates June, Skye and Maya laughed but wiped their tears away. After many excuses from the guys like:
“I had something in my eye”
“I was thinking of something else” or my favorite “I have sand in my eyes!” that was Quinn and I couldn’t help but point out the fact we were nowhere near sand. We watched a horror movie after and all the guys decided to scare us girls. It may have been funny for them but after the movie I think it’s safe to say all of them are on a sex ban.
Once we had finished the movie everyone’s rooms Zander showed me ours. I will admit I was very nervous, but with Zander everything feels so right. I noticed something that made my heart beat very quickly. “Zander, where are my books!!!!” I was freaking out, my books are my babies.
“Relax Kit I was getting to that part, put you have to put this on, I Promise it’s nothing bad.” He pulled out a blindfold and placed it over my eyes, I was hesitant but I trust him. He led for about a 3 minute walk and led me into a room. “Are we here yet?”.
He said nothing but took off my blindfold. I was in heaven, it was a huge library, it’s my Utopia. I looked to Zander, he was fidgeting a bit “So do you like it?” he seemed wary of my answer.
“I don’t like it” he looked so sad, I tackled him into a hug “I love it, just like I love you” he looked straight into my eyes and leaned forward while he held me, I closed the distance and we shared a sweet chaste kiss.
“I love you too, Kitten” we kissed one last time them walked to our room hand in hand. We got ready for sleep but before I turned the lamp off, I received a text; it was from Kit and was a group text between me and the girls.

To:Kit, June, Maya, Skye, Nina, Natalie, Kate
I have the perfect revenge plan to mess with the guys meet tomorrow. ;)
I laugh and replied with an okay as I snuggled with Zander, he had an arm draped over my side, my head lying on broad chest and our legs intertwined. “Goodnight Kitten, love you”
“Goodnight Mr. Alpha, I love you too” we pecked on the lips and drifted off to sleep, free of nightmares. I only had one thought on my mind: What kind of trouble was Shay getting me into this time?
