"We'd like to rent one lane for four people, please." Christian told the lady upfront. She nodded and we all payed, stepping aside until our lane was ready.

It was 12:04 A.M. and we were going Midnight Bowling. The Bowling alley glowed in the dark a navy blue color.

"I haven't been bowling in a year." I admitted.

"Looks like The Boss is going to win yet another game of bowling." Cody said with a smug smile.

Alli rolled her eyes. I crossed my arms and stepped infront of Cody.

"I'm The Boss," I reminded Cody. "And you're just working for me." I added, winking.

The lady upfront called us over and asked for our shoe sizes. After we gave them our shoes we were wearing, we put on the shoes they assigned.

As soon as Alli and I put on our shoes, we started sliding toward our alley.

I sat down on one of the six stools and watched as Cody programmed all of our names.

Beadles

Alli

The Boss and

"Cody, why do you have yourself as 'Ugly'?" I asked curiously.

He raised his eyebrow and handed me a neon pink bowling ball.

"Ugly, you're up first." He winked.

I glared at him and grabbed the ball out of his hands.

I positioned myself and stared at the pins.

I felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist and Cody pull my arm with the bowling ball back.

My hands started shaking nervously at Cody's sudden contact with me.

He let go of my hand and the ball dropped, rolling out of balance.

I gasped and turned around, facing a happy looking Cody.

"You did that on purpose, Simpson." I angrily said, poking his chest.

"I'm sorry, I only respond to 'The Boss.'" Cody grinned.

"Well, Mr. Boss, you're going to regret 'Ugly' ever working for you." I muttered, pointing at me.

He raised his eyebrow. "You admit that you're ugly?"

"No--I--ugh, no!" I mumbled.

"Good, because I don't think so either." He smiled.

I rolled my eyes and walked around him, sitting down on a stool.

He bowled next.

"Strike!" He bragged, sitting beside me.

"It's just luck." I said.

He scoffed. "It's called having skills." Cody corrected me.

Alli had 46 points.

Christian had 47 points.

Cody had 52 points.

I had 49 points.

"Ugly, you're next." Christian teased.

I grinned sarcastically and got into bowling position.

A second later, I had 59 points.

I jumped up and down, cheering. Alli and Christian gave me a high five.

"Traitors." Cody mumbled.

"Hey man, Cara's The Boss." Christian smirked.

Cody glared at him. He got into bowling position when I got an idea.

I creeped up behind Cody and put my hands around his waist.

"Guess what?" I asked into his ear seductively. He gulped and brought his ball back, ready to throw it.

"Yes?" Cody asked.

"The Boss is going to lose to something of it's own kind." I whispered.

"And what is that?" Cody snickered.

I giggled. "Ugliness."

He dropped the ball and it rowled out of balance. Our scoreboard went black before putting WINNER WINNER in front of 'Ugly.'

"You're right, Cara." Cody sighed.

"Huh?" I asked, confused.

"I'm going to admit to being 'Ugly.' You are The Boss." Cody admitted.

"Thanks for admitting it." I smiled. "But I'm not going to accept your apology until you really mean it."

"And how will you know when I really mean it?" Cody asked, raising his eyebrow.

I pretended to think about it before pushing Cody toward the lane. He instinctively grabbed my elbows and dragged me down with him.

I fell ontop of him and we slid down the alley, laughing and screaming.

Just then, the song "Baby" by Justin Bieber started playing.

"I never liked Bieber." Cody mumbled.

"You don't like me either." I pointed out.

He shrugged. "You're right, I don't."

I frowned.

"I love you." He said playfully, before pulling me into his embrace. He started messing with my hair.

"You're such a loser." I said in between giggles.

"Nope, I'm The Boss." Cody chuckled.

- - -

"I win. Once again." Cody grinned.

I glared at him. "Re-match!"

"No!" Christian and Alli both yelled. "You guys have been hogging this game forever."

"Okay, Cara and me against you two." Cody suggested.

Christian and Alli sighed, agreeing.

We were playing a snowboarding game and I got inside the vehicle in front of Cody. He wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder.

A little girl watching use play crinkled her nose.

"You'll be inlove someday, too." Cody told the little girl.

She stuck out her tongue and ran away.

What did Cody mean by that? I shrugged it off and started playing.

Two minutes later, I won Christian.

"Re-match?" He asked hopefully.

I shook my head. "I'm sorry, but Cody and I have been hogging this game forever." I said mockingly, grabbing Cody's hand and leading him toward a dancing game.

We put in our tokens when Will and Carlton from The Fresh Prince of Belair appeared on our screen. We started dancing to 'Jump On It' from one of their episodes.

We were smiling and getting along the whole dance. There was a part where Cody picked me up and swung me side to side. When the dance was over, he was still holding onto me.

Christian and Alli were versing each other in a basketball game.

Cody pointed to a photobooth. "This is a very memorable day." Cody said, leading me toward it.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because The Boss lost--to a girl." Cody admitted.

I pushed him before stepping inside the Booth.

"If you haven't already noticed, Simpson, I'm not like most girls." I reminded him, putting in my tokens.

"I have noticed." Cody smiled sincerely.

Every three seconds, the camera would flash a new picture. We chose a 4x6 frame.

"Besides, girls can do anything boys can." I said defensively.

We smiled for the first picture.

"Really?" Cody asked, putting his arm around my shoulder.

"Really." I nodded.

We winked for the second picture.

"Boys usually make the first move on the girl."

Flash.

"Girls can do that too." I said.

For the fourth picture I leaned into his cheek and kissed it. He turned his face around in time, his lips pressing onto mine.

Flash.

We stayed kissing eachother for awhile, my hands tangling in his hair.

There was a knock on the booth and we pulled apart quickly.

"You tricked me." I mumbled, taking out the picture.

"Don't pretend you didn't like it." Cody teased, poking my cheeks.

"Who's pretending?"
