"Are you feeling afraid?" Robin asked Darren. He shook his head as we
walked on the path to my mum's house. I knocked and waited. The door
swinged opened and my mum smiled. Her smile faltered qhen she saw us.
"Robin! Oh Robin where have you been all these time? I missed you." Mum
embraced her and tears streamed down her face.
They went into her living room and sat on the couch. "My husband." Robin
told her mum. Mum smiled at Darren then looked at Robin. "Dear, I have
something to tell you. Your father. He was already dead when you were four.
I lied...about him being alive. He was killed by a vampire." Mum sighed. "That
was sad."
Robin shrugged. "Mum, we are vampires too." Mum's eyes widen. "How do
you know that?" Robin smiled. "I found out by accident." She told her mum
everything from the beginning. Mum nodded. "You knew. So that just saved
the explanation." They burst out laughing.
