Kaya
"I'm glad you was able to meet me here after what happened." I said chewing the inside of my right cheek.
The cafe we met at was peaceful and a great place to meet at to me.
Though the air was thick with tension, I still kept my composure instead of bombarding her with questions.
"Yeah ..about that- I'm really sorry. I wasn't thinking at all." Robin quickly said dropping her head.
Robin avoided eye contact with me this entire meet and I don't blame her.
Her lip looked better from when I punched her after the kiss.
It's been a week since it happened and this is the first time we spoke to each other.
She played around with her half eaten pancakes.
"Then why would you kiss me?" I asked taking a sip of my orange juice.
Robin sighed. "I've been wanting you since we first met at college." She admitted. "I just never understood why you weren't attracted to me no matter all the times I tried to throw you hints."
"Robin I-"
"No, let me finish." She said cutting me off. "I'm in love with you Kaya. I can't hide my feelings from you anymore."
I shifted uncomfortably in my seat.
I could never be into a girl. I can't kiss one or never think of being intimate with one.
"And you can't tell me you really don't feel the same Kaya." She said touching my hand.
I withdrew my hand from her grasp and put it on my lap.
"No Robin. I don't." I said.
"W-what?"
"I love you. You're my- you were my best friend. But I don't love you in the way I love Au-" I cut myself off.
"So you love him?" She asked angrily.
"I don't know. Maybe." I admitted.
"Wow. After all I've done for you Kaya!" She yelled standing up from her seat. "You're so naive! All he's going to do is use you!" She said getting even more angry causing a bigger scene.
"Robin please sit down." I said calmly.
"No Kay! August doesn't deserve you." She said grabbing her purse. "And you'll definitely find out why." She said before throwing money on the table.
She walked out of the cafe and I sighed.
It just seems as if I can never catch a break.

I sat across from Kyle as we discussed some business about making more money from the marijuana.
Kyle supplied the best cocaine while I supplied the weed and handled the shipments.
"Yeah, if we could just find out where to find a new spot for our boys to sell, we could get an increase of 10% on each of our pay." Kyle said blowing smoke from his nose.
I nodded my head agreeing with him. I still tried to figure how why I didn't know he was related to Kaya.
They look just alike it's crazy.
"You got sum to drink?" Kyle asked me.
"Yeah, Ia be back."
I got up and went to my fridge.
I know it's dumb to let this niggas in my crib, but I ain't worried about shit.
Just cause he's Kaya brother don't mean he can't catch these bullets.
"Yo place go crazy tho." He yelled. "But how you meet my little sister?" He asked taking the bottle of water from my hand.

He was cut off from a knock on my from door.
I got up to open the door and was met by Jessica from the club.
I ain't gone lie and say we didn't have nothing going on.
Of course I fucked the girl a few times but that was way before I got with Kaya and I maybe fucked her once a month ago.
"What chu' doin hea'?" I asked cracking the door.
"Damn no hey or hi." She laughed jokingly. "I've missed you." She pouted.
"Jes I told you already I gotta lady." I said turning around to make sure Kyle couldn't here us.
"When did that matter? We just had sex not too long ago." She said folding her arms.
"Jessica I'm serious. Dat shit we was doin, it's ova na."
"You said that last time August!" She yelled. "But yet you're still fucking with me."
"Shut the fuck up." I said through clenched teeth. "Yell again Ima break yo fuckin jaw."
I didn't have time for Kyle to be on my ass about her being here and questioning me since I'm with his sister.
Then I definitely didn't wanna lose Kaya.
So I was really trying to tell Jessica to hop off my shit before things got too serious.
"Whatever August. I know you've been having her in here too. Next time tell your bitch if she threaten me again that's her ass." She said before turning and walking away to her car.
I sighed and closed the door behind me and walked back to the couch to see Kyle talking on his phone.
I really need to get my shit together.
"And bitch I told your stupid ass to stop calling me if it wasn't about my fuckin daughter!" Kyle yelled into his phone.
This was a everyday thing.
Him arguing with his stupid ass baby mama.
"Yeah I wish you would bring another nigga around my daughter. I'll kill you and him if he touch her!" Kyle yelled before hanging up on her.
"You ready to go?" He asked.
"Yeah, but Ima meet ya dere. I gotta go see Kaya." I said grabbing my car keys.
"Ight." He said dapping me and walking out the house.

Walking into Kaya's house the lights were dimmed.
I felt alert and quickly made my way up to her bedroom
I pushed her door open and seen Kaya laying in the bed with lingerie.
Dropping my keys on the dresser, I bit my lip as she crawled to the end of the bed.
"Baybeh' what chu doin?" I asked.
"Why are you all the way over there?" She said biting her lip.
I walked towards her bed and she pulled on my pants as she said up on her knees.
"I'm just so tired of waiting." She purred in my neck.
"Then wat you gone do bout it?" I asked.
