- Jessica's Point Of View -

I wake up, oh my god my head hurts so bad. Andrew's next to me, fuck what happened? I really hope we didn't do anything because I'm still in yesterday's outfit. I get up and glance at my phone. Shit, I missed out, like three hours of my day already. Great, absent again. And now I have to email the dean. And here's Andrew waking up, great.

"Good morning, Jessica," Andrew says, his sleepy voice is very attractive, though.

"Let's jump to conclusion, what did we do yesterday?" I snap at him, angry.

"Absolutely, nothing." He clenches his jaw. I believe him, but I'm still suspicious.

"What do you mean absolutely nothing? I was drunk, I have no clue what happened, but please don't lie to me." I tell him, grabbing my pack of cigarettes.

"I'll tell you exactly what happened. You asked me to make love to you and I said no, you know why? Because I know you were drunk and vulnerable, yet I didn't want to use you. Because you didn't deserve it. I can't believe you don't trust me." He sighs, very disappointed.

What? He didn't do anything? I'm shocked. I seriously cannot believe that happened.

"If I told you, you wouldn't understand." I light the cigarette. "Someone needs to go to class I guess."

"Not before we talk about what happened in New York," he says, cocky.

"What if I don't want to?" I get up.

"I get it, it's complicated and shitty and all, but it's still something you shouldn't keep to yourself." He holds my wrist. He's so understanding, not to forget, charming.

"Fine." I sit down again because this is going to be long.

"First of all, why didn't you tell me?" He asks, caressing my shoulder. "I won't have judged you."

"I was scared okay? Because not everyone accepts the fact that you might've developed as a sex and then you developed to the other." I state.

"It's not like you asked for it." He hugs me.

"May I ask why are you being so sweet to me?" I scoff.

"I don't know, I feel like it." He smiles.

"We're so bipolar, man." I playfully shake my head.

"I like you so much, I didn't like it when you dated Smith, he's a douchebag and doesn't deserve you. I didn't like it when alcohol fucked you up. You're basically one of the few people I give two shits about." He says, and then leans in to kiss me.

This time, the kiss is pretty gentle, as if he were hesitant to do so. But I kiss him back and it gets firmer.

"I wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year!" I smile at my students as the last period ends. Damn these three months passed so quick. It's seniors. They all leave, except Andrew, who's glancing at his phone.

"So, where are you going to spend Christmas?" I ask him, packing my stuff.

"Still didn't book shit." He replies, rolling his eyes. "Dad doesn't care, whilst mom wants to spend it in Lebanon. You?"

"I have booked a week in London, but I'll most probably cancel it." I sigh.

"Why'd you do that?" He asks.

"I don't know. As much as I want to spend it with my family in the United Kingdom this year, I'm too tired." I put my coat on.

"What if I come with you?" He questions and I widen my eyes. "I'm serious."

"Are you sure you want to do this, you know, meet my parents and my grandmother?" I ask him, narrowing my eyes and furrowing my eyebrows.

"Oh please, I bet you're just like them." He kisses my forehead. Except, I'm nothing like them. "Do you want me to drive you home? I'll head to the British consulate after."

"No, thank you. I still have to talk to the dean about something." I inform him. He nods and then hugs me.

"I'll see you tonight?" He asks as I nod.

After talking to the dean, I went home. Angelina's asleep and Peter's packing. I should be packing, but here I am, smoking. I really should stop, but fuck it. And someone's pressing the doorbell, why should I be the one to take it. It's Jake.

"Good evening." He gets in, sighing. He took psychiatry as his major, I couldn't believe it at first, but as he wishes. "I'm going to a party today."

"I don't remember you asking for permission." I scold him.

"Jessica, I'm eighteen, I can do whatever I want." He crosses his arms.

"What's with the attitude?" I ask him, angry. Peter gets out, and he seems worried. "Are you drunk?"

"Fuck no I'm not." He states, he's lying.

"Who gave you alcohol?" I put my hands on my sides. "This is illegal and I'll report this to the dean."

"You won't."He rolls his eyes.

"You're challenging me?" I head to my laptop but he holds my wrist. Oh no he didn't. "You get closer and I promise you won't go to London this year."

"I don't give two shits about London." He rolls his eyes.

"Okay then, I'll hand Andrew your ticket. Thank you for saving us some money." I fake a smile at him. "And Peter, sober him up."

"I don't want to be sober." Jake whines. I roll my eyes. Angelina's awake, great.

There's still this tension between Angel and Jake, but I couldn't just let her live while witnessing an unhealthy relationship between her 'parents'. She doesn't really fear him anymore because she knows I'm around.

"Angelina, let's go get changed, shall we?" I fake a smile at her. Rubbing her eyes, she nods.

Andrew and I didn't really mind Angelina's presence. I mean, yes we tease her, or mess with her, but when she's asleep we talk and kiss as much as we want.

I wear the first thing I see, which is a white shirt and a pair of black jeans. As for Angel, I got her to wear a pink sweater with a pair of normal jeans this time and a pair of baby blue boots. I wear black heels and put my hair in a ponytail. Hell, I miss having peach hair.

"Good evening Andy." Angelina hugs Andrew.

"Good evening, Angie and Jessica." Andrew smiles. "Come in."

I glance at my phone, Oscar texted me, asking about how I am, but that's it. I turn off my phone, so my concentration would be more into Andrew and Angelina.

"So, Angelina, how're your friends at school?" Andrew asks her, turning off the television.

"Melanie is a meanie to me." She replies.

The thing with Melanie is that the girl has cognitive problems and her parents refused to let her go to a school where people around her were like her. And Angelina doesn't really get that.

"Mommy and Dad had a fight today." Angelina states. Great. Just great.

"Why?" Andrew asks and then takes a sip of his water.

"Reasons." I say, not wanting everyone to know about her father. It's enough that he knows Jake's an alcoholic and was in jail.

"Mommy, I want to sleep." Angelina states. She's doing this on purpose because she knows if she'd stay up longer I'd scold her for what she just told her.

I don't really punish her, I just scold her and lecture her about how what she did is wrong and she shouldn't do it again. And we've both agreed on a rule, if she does the same mistake three times, I take her tablet for a day. This was the second time she tells Andrew about something she shouldn't have.

She told him I don't eat enough and then he started worrying about me. He'd even buy me food so I can eat. Okay, I might not eat very much, and I love him so much, he doesn't need to worry.

"I'll get her to sleep." Andrew says, getting up. He carries Angelina and leaves. Great, I have to rearrange the table.

"And she's sleeping like a baby." Drew smiles.

"Great." I smile too. He starts getting closer and we start kissing. It's very calm around us and all I can smell is his cologne. He kisses me firmly, suddenly, he stops.

"What's this on your arm?" He asks me. I glance at it, shit. It's gotten green, it must've happened when Jake held my hand, and he held it too tight.

"I probably just stumbled while walking, it's fine." I roll my eyes.

"Is this about that fight you had with her father?" He questions, crossing his arms.

"I decline to answer." I reply, getting out my pack of cigarettes. I don't smoke in his house, just outside.

"You think I don't know what you were talking about with the dean?" He snaps.
