••Alex's POV••
I woke up to an arm wrapped around my waist and my face buried in someone's chest. My eyes fluttered opened to reveal a sleeping Jack. I couldn't help but smile at him
I traced imaginary shapes on his chest and sighed. Should I forgive him?
It's just I always forgive him. I love him don't get me wrong. But it's like he always seems to believe other people over me. And I'm tired of it
I've never done anything so he wouldn't have trust in me. I've been loyal. I've tried to be a good girlfriend and in the end I always end up getting hurt. But maybe if I end up with him, it'll be worth it
"Mmm, morning." He mumbled in his morning voice
"Morning." I whispered back
"Sorry." He said removing his hand from my waist. I sighed and turned my back on him
"You know, I miss you. I know we didn't break up but you're still mad. Which you have every right to be. But I just miss holding you in my arms and telling you I love you." He mumbled as I felt him move
"Jack." I whispered as he buried his face in the crook of my neck and wrapped his arm around my waist before pulling me closer to him
"I love you baby, I'm so sorry." His voice cracked
"Don't cry please." I whimpered
"How can I not? Princess I hurt you and made you cry, I'm the worst boyfriend ever. I don't deserve you or your love." He said squeezing me but not too hard
I quickly turned around to face him. A tear rolled down his cheek making me heart ache.
"Jack." I whispered reaching out to wipe it away
"I love you." I said making him look up at me
"How?" He asked confused
"Jack you say it like it's impossible for someone to love you." I said caressing his cheek. He sighed
"For you to still love me after I made you cry, then yes." He nodded
"Jack you could break my heart and I'd still love you." I said
"I love you Jack, I'm still hurt yeah. And I don't want to forgive you that easily." I sighed
"But I do want you to be my boyfriend still, it's just some things won't be the same anymore. I'm not saying they never are but just not right now." I said. He bit his lip and nodded understanding
"I'll fix this, I'll fix us." He said caressing my cheek as he slowly started to lean in. I closed my eyes before our lips collided with each other. I wrapped my arm around his neck and kissed back slowly
He grabbed my waist and pulled me so we were now touching. I pulled on his hair making him moan into the kiss. He bit my lip and sucked on it before pulling away to catch his breath. I looked at him to see he was already looking at me
I swear getting lost in his eyes is most perfect thing ever. Besides him of course. He smiled softly and tucked a strand of hair being my ear. My breathed hitched as he gave my neck a soft kiss and he moved up to my jawline. I bit my lip and looked at him
"I love you princess." He smiled cutely making my heart flutter
"I love you too." I said making him crash his lips with mine again. This time more passionate
I smiled and scooted closer to him as he flipped us around so he was now hovering over me. His breath surprisingly taste like mint. I pulled away now insecure about mine
He frowned and looked at me
"What's wrong?" He asked caressing my cheek. I bit my lip and shook my head. He raised a brow
"Oh, you're worried your breath stinks huh?" He asked. I nodded slowly
"Babe your breath doesn't smell what so ever. You probably sleep with your mouth open and take out all the stinky breath." He teased I giggled and hit his chest as I blew a piece of hair out of my face and pouted
"That was cute." He chuckled
"Was not." I whined
"Was too." He nodded before pecking my lips. I blushed and looked away
"Don't." He groaned cupping my cheeks and making me face him
"Jack." I whined trying to pull away
"I just love seeing you blush." He grinned
"You love seeing me embarrassed." I joked. He chuckled and rolled his eyes
"I love seeing you, your beautiful face." He whispered
"I love every second I get to be with you, to hold you and kiss you." He smiled. I groaned before cupping his cheeks and kissing him
He gasped but quickly recovered as he wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed back.
"I love you Alex." He mumbled into the kiss. I smiled and nodded

"So he stayed there until you came to school?" Maddy squealed
"You could even hear them kissing." Summer teased. I blushed and hit her on the shoulder
"You haven't forgiven him yet though right?" Jeannie asked
"No, and he knows that." I nodded as I grabbed my text books from my locker before closing it and putting them in my backpack
"Morning." Aaron said walking towards us with his head down
"What happened?" I asked as I lifted his face. My jaw dropped as I saw a small bruise forming at the bottom of his left eye
"Nothing, love." He murmured grabbing my hand and pushing it away. I frowned
"Can you girls leave us alone?" I asked them. They nodded before walking away
"It's nothing Alex, really." Aaron sighed as he opened his locker
"So the most lovable person to have a black eye is nothing? Yeah right." I scoffed and crossed my arms
I know he's lying. He's my best friend for gods sake! Everyone in school loves him. He's popular yeah but he's really down to earth and that's why everyone gets along with him
Now who would want to hurt him?
"Not everyone loves me Alex." He chuckled dryly I frowned
"It doesn't matter who did it, can we just go to class?" He asked closing his locker and looking at me
"No, not until you tell me who hit you." I said sternly
"I'm fine Alex. I'm not gonna die or anything." He replied harshly
"Let's just go." He sighed before walking away
I groaned before following him
"You know I'm not gonna let this go right?" I asked as we sat down
"And you know I'm not gonna tell you right?" He raised a brow I frowned
"Why are you acting like this? I'm you're best friend I thought you could tell me anything." I said
"My world doesn't revolve around you Alex." He snapped
"I know it doesn't but I want to be here for you." I said he huffed
"Look Alex, I don't need your help or pity. Just leave me alone." He said clenching his jaw
I frowned as the teacher walked in and the class begun. But I couldn't concentrate. What's up with Aaron? And why is he acting that way? He's NEVER rude so why today?

"Aaron!" I yelled as he walked out of school
"Aaron please." I begged grabbing his hand
"Leave me alone Alex." He snapped
"Can't you see I'm fine?! I don't need your help!" He snickered
"What the fuck?" Jack glared at him as he walked towards us
"What's going on?" He asked me
"Nothing." I mumbled holding back tears. Why is Aaron acting like this?
"Dude really? Can't you see she's on the verge of tears?" Jack sneered at him. Aaron looked at me and frowned
"Dylan." He sighed I clenched my jaw
"He hit you?" I gritted my teeth
"Yeah, it's not that big of a deal that's why I didn't want to tell you, I didn't mean to be a prick to you love." He explained
"Why the hell did he hit you?" Jack asked him
"He was planning on beating up Reece and as much as I dislike him he didn't deserve it." Aaron said
"So I got in the way and told him to run away, Dylan got mad and punched me." He added
"What the fuck?" Jack spat looking around for who I'm guessing is Dylan
"Dylan!" He yelled at him as he walked out of school
"Jack don't." I said grabbing his hand
"Baby that isn't fair." He said clenching his jaw. He looks like a Greek god
Not now hormones
"I know it isn't but just let it be he's not worth it." I said
"I heard my name." Dylan said from behind him. I swear I could imagine his cocky smirk
I quickly turned around to face him
I slapped him making his face turn left at the impact
"NEVER! Touch Aaron again got that?" I snapped angrily. He cupped his cheek and glared at me
"He got in my way." He sneered
"From what? Beating up Reece? This is why no one likes you Dylan! You torment people for no reason!" I yelled taking out all my anger at him
"Shut up Alex." He snapped
"Why? Don't want people to see how much of a ignorant jerk you are?" I asked
"Stay away from both Aaron and Reece." I warned
I grabbed Aaron's hand and pulled him away
"Damn princess." Jack chuckled from behind me
"I swear I even felt the slap." Aaron joked
"Shut up." I chuckled and pushed him away
"She's feisty." Jack said wrapping his arms around my waist. Butterflies erupted in my stomach at his touch
Damn you Jack Edward Johnson
"Am not." I huffed crossing my arms over his. He chuckled
"Yes you are." He whispered in my ear
"Ok, I'm third wheeling now I'm just gonna go." Aaron laughed
"No don't leave." I whined. Jack must've said or signaled Aaron something because he nodded before walking away
"Aaron." I whined like a five year old
"You're mean." I huffed
"You're mean, you hurt my feelings." He said kissing my cheek. I hid a smile and looked down
"You're the meanie hush." I joked
"Hey don't hush me." He snapped I giggled and looked away from him. He turned me around so I was now facing him. I gasped as I crashed into his chest and our eyes met
"There's only one way you can get me to shut up." He whispered looking at my lips. He looked at me asking for permission. I nodded slowly making him smile and cup my cheeks before kissing me. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck

"Summer stop." I whined as I bounced on the bed
"Why?!" She squealed jumping on the bed. I groaned
"You! Guys! Are! So! Cute!" She yelled between jumps
You see she saw me and Jack kissing in front of the school and now she won't leave me alone. She keeps jumping on my bed and squealing every five minutes saying we're so cute
"It was just a kiss." I mumbled
"Ok you both had your eyes closed and where in your own little world, that was not just a kiss Alex." She said sitting down next to me. I glared at her
"Ok so? I love him." I shrugged making her grin
"Summer you act like you didn't know this." I huffed
"I did but it's just so cute." She squealed
"Ok stop." I whined covering my face
"Ok ok, I'll leave you." She said as I felt her get off of the bed. After not even five seconds later the bed sunk in again making me groan
"Summer I s-I was cut off by two soft lips pressed against mine.
"Hey princess." He whispered as he pulled away
"You scared me." I said hitting his chest making him laugh
"Doing homework?" He asked
"Umm no." I said grabbing my notebook from him and putting it in my backpack
"Babe?" He asked raising a brow. I shook my head and slipped it under the bed
"You're so cute." He chuckled
"No I'm not." I groaned getting under the blankets
"Yes you are, anyways I just came to say goodnight." He said leaning in and kissing my forehead
"Goodnight." I smiled
"I love you princess." He said as he stood up
"I love you too." I whispered making him smile. He sighed before walking out of my room
