I woke up in my bed as I catched my breath after some bad dreams
"That again" I muttered then slowly, I went to the kitchen and drank some water to calm down
But it didn't effect at all, I clenched the glass pretty hard

I heard my house bell rang, so I went to the main door and opened it
"What are you doing here?" I asked to a girl and a boy who came to my house
"Didn't we tell you?" Yagami asked
"Not this early if I remembered" I asnwered then told them to come in
"Sorry to interrupted you, are you just woke up?" Sakurai asked
"Yes I am, but it's okay" I answered with a little bit smile
"You look tired" yagami said as we went to the living room
"I got bad dream, that's all" then I asked them what they want, but they said water is fine
"I'll be showering, please make yourself at home, if someone searching for me, tell them if I'm not available at the moment" I said after I placed their glass then went to my room

"I wonder what's wrong with her" I muttered
"If I remembered, I heard she's shouting back then. Well, you know right that she's waiting under the relationer floor, so I could hear it even though it's not clear"
"What's she shouting about?"
"Something like he's going to die or something"
"He? You mean kadowaki-senpai?"
"I think, since it's the exact time when senpai fell"
"Yagami-kun? Yagami-kun!" Sakurai-san shook her hand in front of me

"You guys will visit kadowaki-senpai right?" She asked
"I think" I answered
"Can I tag along?" She asked
"Of course!" Sakurai beamed
"Thank you" her eyes softened and she smiled

"And..?" Kohinata-senpai said through the phone
"I broke my clavicle, but otherwise, I just have some scratches" kadowaki-senpai said, sounded not too bad
"Is that so?"
"I'll be moving to a hospital in Tokyo tomorrow! Ooh, HTH! Hottie in The Hospital! No! My angel! I wasn't trying to escape! Ooh, please, be gentle with me.." He said and shouting in the end while hasekura-senpai and yagami sat in the sofa
"Kadowaki-senpai?!" Yagami confused
'What is he doing right there?' I asked to particularly no one
"He hung up" sakurai said
"But he sounded healty" fujiwara continued
"Yeah!"
"Well, that's a good news, right?" Hasekura-senpai said as he looked at me
"Yeah" I smiled
"I'm relieved" yagami said
"Alright, start stretching! Make sure to warm up well. Don't get hurt!" Hasekura-senpai ordered

"About our next game, since kadowaki is injured, yasegawa will replace him or we don't have enough runners, so we may not be able to participate at all, and withdraw" dan-sensei said

"Can we search for replacement?" I said

"Hasekura-senpai said he used to do stride" yagami continued

"Please join the stride club. Please run with us" fujiwara ignored sakurai's words
"I no longer have the right to participate in stride" that word strucked me as he ready to go with his bike
"Right? What do you mean?" Yagami confused
"Wait a minute" I bravely stopped him
"I know I sounded so selfish. But please help us!" I said then bowed and stand up again
But he went away, with his bike
"I'm sorry all of you. It's because of me" I apologized to them
"It's not your fault, yasegawa-san!" Yagami said
'I want to run again, but I don't want it now. What's wrong with me?' I thought as I stared my hand

"You asked kousuke?" Hasekura-senpai surprised after we told what happened
"Yes. You said the other day that he was this awesome runner. Better than you" yagami answered
"Sorry I did that without your permission" yagami took all the blame
"It's not your fault yagami. It's my idea to search for replacement" I stopped him
"All of you are not at fault. And.. What did he say?" Hasekura-senpai asked again
Then we looked at each other
"Something about him not having the right.. I didn't know there was a right involved" yagami answered again
Then I saw kohinata-senpai saddened

"Man, why won't anyone help out? Yagami complained when we had lunch together at classroom
" everyone has their own summer events to participate in" sakurai said
'And some of them probably want their holliday uninterrupted' I thought while I ate my bread
"I know. But still.. It's like they're running away from us" yagami said
"When people see us, they quickly back off" he continued
"More like scared" I butted in
"Scared?" Yagami and sakurai asked me
"Good legs. With some training, you can run" I heard fujiwara voice then I looked at him, holding someone leg
"Whoaaa!!" He run away
"Could it be?" Sakurai and yagami said
"I'll search again!" I said then stood up and ran
"Wait yasegawa-san!!" Yagami called me

"You're a runner right? Please help us!" I bowed

"I no longer have the right to participate in stride" he said the same thing
"Then I don't have any right either. I had done something that dangerous to runner. It's an unforgivable acted" I said
"Then, why are you still running?" He asked
"Someone said that I should run again to made it up. That's why.. Maybe you should run again" I said with sad expression

"I know we need someone right away. But.. Kuga-senpai, replacing ayumu-kun? I can't let that happen. I rather yasegawa replace him" he continued

"Kohinata-senpai" I tried to called him
Then suddenly hasekura-senpai slide the door and told us to come in.
He talked to us, about the stride club almost disband, how kadowaki-senpai joined with kohinata-senpai help.
After we heard it, we visited kadowaki-senpai and Kohinata-senpai, no. We wanted to see kohinata-senpai, we asked to hasekura-senpai and he said that maybe kohinata-senpai was there, with kadowaki-senpai.
we said something that he don't need to accept kuga-san, we all are there to hear his feeling.
He said that he can't trust who betrayed Stride Club, even though they still running, we won't make a winning team. Stride is all about connecting emotion. Cliché right?
He also said that kuga-san hurted hasekura-senpai's leg that made us shocked, especially me. I don't know why but my mind blank after heard that
"If he's not worthy, then nothing we can do" fujiwara said as he looked at me
"Eh? Yeah" I said. My mind still blank that time
Then, hasekura-senpai butted in. He entered the room and said that his leg hurt because of kuga-san. He said that kuga-san was the one who protected the stride club
He told us to not bring this up outside of this wall, never. Or else, the club can be disbanded
