"Can you guys move?" Asked Hasekura-senpai to sakurai, kadowaki-senpai, and Kohinata-senpai

"That was scary" they sighed. Maybe they're interested when suddenly that green guys entered our room as he searched for Kuga-senpai

"You know him, yasegawa?" Asked hasekura-senpai

"Somehow, If I'm not mistaken, he met my sister then she introduced her back then when I.. 6 grade or something" I answered

"That was long" sakurai butted in

"Uwahh! Idol and in the same time runner, they're impressing!" Yagami whinned

"I know right? No wonder everybody looks up to gal-stan" sakurai said

"This is no time to be admiring. Saisei is a wall to overcome. That's all" fujiwara said as he closed his glasses case

'But there's some wall that you mustn't overcome' I thought

"Fujiwara, don't you, like, feel anything seeing those guys?" Yagami said

"We're fighting high school students, just like us. We're here to win. Am I wrong?"

"You're right. But-"

"Enough fughting" hasekura-senpai stopped them

"Are you ready?" Dan-sensei opened the door as he entered

"Sakurai, show them the running order" he ordered

"Okay"

"It's sad, to be watching alone" I muttered

'Dan-sensei have something to do too'

And the other already in their position include sakurai

'All I got is this earphone and I can't speak the whole race' I thought as I turned on the earphone

"I heard some of them are chatting" I muttered

"Now.. On your mark. Get set.. "

"May God bless them" I muttered

And they finally ran as the alarm rang

Yagami had a good start, but when he almost reach the takeover zone, suddenly he slowed down

'Is sakurai too tense?' I thought because she wasn't giving any order

'Looks like we playing safe' I thought when saw kohinata-senpai run

"Got it. Hasekura-senpai. Set!" I heard when kohinata-senpai was in bridge, around take over zone

"What is he planning?" I asked

Suddenly, he jumped almost like what I did back then, what it make different is he jump for shotcut from bridge to bridge while I jump from road to bridge

Then he rolled and relation with hasekura-senpai

'It's perfect time' I tought seeing them in rhyme

Hasekura-senpai got trouble when he's facing a light brown hair guy,

"Senoo Takusu?" I read carefully from what I got from Dan-sensei

But the worst is kadowaki-senpai avoided the prop

'He's slowing!' I thought

'Don't give up kadowaki-senpai!' I prayed

"We're four seconds behind! Fujiawa-kun, set!" Sakurai ordered to fujiwara

"You better be careful suwa-san. He's a monster" I muttered

Fujiwara ran full speed to catch up with suwa-san, unfortunately, we lost by 0.40 seconds

"It's Saisei! Reiji Suwa, the final runner, wins the match!" The commentator said

"Fujiwara showed an incredible chase, but still couldn't make it!" He continued

"Though the time difference was only 0.4 seconds, in essence, we were absolutely destroyed" Dan-sensei said when we at changing room

'Where's he watched it?!' I thought

"I'm sorry.. It's my fault" Kadowaki-senpai apologized

"It's nobody fault" I said

"Hey kadowaki, don't be so full of yourself" hasekura-senpai said

"If you look at the time record, you were close to the best" he said

'Well, 2 seconds can change everything though' I thought but I don't dare to say it loudly, because he already done his best regarding what he think

"You did well, captain of shogi Club" he complimented me

"Good job, running genius!" Followed by kohinata-senpai

"But now that we've lost our sponsor, we can't join any official matches" kohinata-senpai sadden

"I think it's not true" I muttered when I heard a loud step from outside

"I'm coming in!" That lady opened the door really hard as she hold a box

"Big sis?"

"Attention! I have started a new brand for you guys" she said as dan-sensei closed properly the door

"What?"

"It's called.. Runruly"

"But why? ..we lost" yagami asked

"Saisei's sponsor is our rival brand" she said

"To be frank.. I am super pissed!" She continued with Scary face as we stood behind hasekuara-senpai hands

"If you wear that and lose, you all are dead" she continued

'Women are scary' I thought

Then we wore the jersey and looks like everyone liked it

'My hands.. I don't know that they know about my hand.. Except the one who made it was sister' I thought as I stared at my hand

"You all are the real Runruly logos" she said

"The age of gloomy blues are over. The new age Honan Stride Club is sun-shining white" she said proudly

'I don't know what she means' I sweat dropped

"So it's starting" kohinata-senpai said

"What is?" Yagami asked

"I don't know" sakurai said

"East Japan's biggest summer stride event.. Titled!" Kadowaki-senpai tried to completed his sentence

"End of Summer" fujiwara interrupted for the second time

"Also known as EOS" hasekura-senpai said

"The trial tour to determine the competitors starts next month" he explained

' I hope the tragedy won't happen again' I prayed

"Next time, I want to win" yagami muttered

"Next time, I will beat Saisei!" He determined

"Right!" All of us cheered
