Love (Part I)
Why can't he see,
That he's the one for me,
He's always there,
Him and his loving stare,
Maybe it's not for me,
Maybe it's not meant to be,
But I see it,
His eyes have lit,
When I am with him I can't help but stare,
Although, he doesn't care,
He likes that I love him,
His thoughts toward me are slim.
He doesn't get fate,
I don't care I'll take hhis love a little late
I am still waiting for the day,
That he'll be mine for years to stay,
Although it's early in life,
I can't but help think about being his wife,
He doesn't understand,
He is such a man,
Maybe I should move on,
But what's the sense in that I mean it's almost dawn,
There isn't a happy ending in life unless you don't regret,
My heart is like an open net,
And I have caught him,
My chances are dim,
Although I do have a date in an hour,
I should get in the shower,
Freshen up,
Maybe even later pucker up,
But god only knows,
