Underneath the shade
of the tree
I am thinking.
Reminiscing on the times
that we've been
playing, laughing.
Remembering the sweet
memories and the
joyful experiences.
Recalling each of your
looks and even
your glances.
Then I remember something,
a detail that hit
me like a train
The memory that reminded me
that all I did
was in vain.
The memory that told me
that you didn't want me
by your side anymore.
The memory that made
my heart break
and my eyes sore.
Sore because of crying,
for you aren't
with me anymore.
It's a real wonder how
I can think of
all of these things.
When all I want is
to past my time and to
not feel anything.
