Rob's P.O.V
I let out another scream as I throw more furniture, yet still the arsehole sat unmoved unbothered.
Like this didn't set us back a year.
"Three hundred Thomas! Three f*cking hundred newly turned wolves and vampires and there gone!" I screamed throwing another table close by.
His dark brown almost black eyes stare into mine with no emotions.
For once I was starting to second guess all of this.
I let out a sigh as I lean back on the now broken desk, resting my head in my hands.
"I think we should just give up now-" before I could finish, finally the cold blooded sucker cuts me off.
"NO! WE WILL NOT QUIT SHE IS MINE!"
I give him a look like he has a second head "Thomas it's over, the breach messed up we nearly lost everyone. We have nothing-"
"So we start again!" He snaps, I stay quiet for a moment befire I let out a laugh.
"What's so funny?" He hisses making me meet his eyes.
"Im just finally realising how crazy you f*cking are" I say, when I notice his eyes narrow I stood up.
Moving so we was face to face "you think we can just rebuild what we already rebuilt? Overnight?!" I snap feeling myself growing angrier when he rolls his eyes.
"Everyone is replaceable" he hisses.
"Not when the planets small" I growled, his next words stopped me completely and made me realise that maybe I've made a huge mistake.
"I will have my Genevieve back!" He screams.
"Iris!" I shout and instantly everything feel silent, his eyes moved from mine to the floor but I already saw the crazy look in his eyes.
I take a step towards him "her name-" I growl slowly "is iris!"
"I-i know that" he mumbles out making me tilt my head to the side slightly.
"Do you? Because it doesn't seem like you do and if we're about to risk our lives on a 'mistake' then you better be bloody sure on who it is your taking!" I snapped and instantly my airways were cut off.
His hands wrap around my neck tightly and he brings my body closer to him.
"Don't question me! Or you'll find yourself in a worser hole then you crawled out from" he snaps before throwing me like I was nothing.
Pain entered my body instantly and it was moments like this I regretted doing what i did to my knight spirit.
Slowly I lift my head to look at him, ignoring all the pain in my body and blurry vision, I watch as he turns his back to me and opens the door.
"Want something done...you do it your damn self" he hisses more to himself then me before he was gone and for the first time in my entire life I felt doubt and guilt fill my body.
What have I done?
What's worse...it's to late to do anything now.
It's to late when in less then a day he will take what he thinks belongs to him and I don't have the power to stop him.
To stop us.
No one does.
Iris's P.O.V
For the last few days to say I was on edge was an understatement, any little bang made me jump out my skin.
That feeling of sickness and dizziness I've had for a few weeks now has just gotten worse.
I think it's all this worry I've been feeling since the breach, it's starting to stress my body.
Despite feeling on edge I've done my best to keep it aside and hidden deep inside so no one else knew.
But I think they did and that reason is because their all on edge as well.
Since the breach almost three days ago, Oscar had been constantly trying to get us home.
For anyone confused, in order for us to leave we must have promision from the elders.
Which he has been trying to do, however they denied it every time.
Their reason?
Apparently we are not officially king and queen until the land accepts us- don't even know how it even does that- but until it does we are all stuck here, training.
They also said it's the finally test they are waiting for to officially prove it was me, one of the old goats still don't believe I'm really iris Maxwell.
So safe to say Oscar had been pissed lately- part of me can't complain, the sex is brilliant...until recently where it's started hurting- and more on edge then anyone else round here.
Once again,.much like every day we were outside practicing.
They were all trying to ungrade themselves but they haven't learnt the most important thing yet...
"How many times do I have to tell you! This isn't easy! Your forcing yourself to become a species your was not born to" my dad growls making me snap from my thoughts.
He was helping me train the kingdom, considering he had the most experience in this field of work.
Plus he already was the thing everyone was trying hard to become.
My eyes take in everyone's sweaty forms, I could see the frustration and pain in their eyes.
I felt everything they felt and as their family it killed me, as their Luna I wanted to take their pain away.
But as their queen, my need to make them so much more powerful so they will all go unharmed, overpowered any other emotion I felt.
I didn't want them hiding, my eyes jumped over to Killians. Who stood near the trees watching everyone.
Martin was next to them as their clan stood close by practicing and taking in their newly found freedom.
A smile breaks over my face when I notice how a women walks past Killian, she was smiling and joking with some friends but I still see the little glance and smile she sent him.
Killian from the moment didn't tear his eyes away from her and I found it the cutest thing ever.
They must be mates, that thought alone only drove me more.
The thought of every person in my kingdom, despite the species would get to live happy and have a full life.
I would stop at nothing to make that happen.
My eyes jump over to the elders, who like every other time just watched everything unfold.
My wolf stirs inside me as we watch them, only to awaken completely when my eyes catch the eyes of one of the other elders.
He watched me like a hawk and the more we watched him the more we realized.
'he hasn't ever been here before' silver growls beside me making me jump slightly before I turn my head to look at him.
"Hello to you two stranger" I joke before looking back at the man who seemed to make my body react and not in a good way either.
The more his eyes stare into mine, my heart started to race more and more. I felt sweat form in my hands and head.
My hands shook and I had to take deep breaths to calm down before I had an anxiety attack.
"that's what I thought" I mumbled finally answering his words moments ago.
'i don't think I like his vibe' silver growls again before he leans closer and turns his head to look into my eyes.
One of his arms leaning over my shoulder, the more time we spent away and came back together it's make me clearer on what mine and silvers bond actually feels like.
The thing is, with me and Freya I felt like she was part of me. Like I know her because she's me.
But with silver, the more I thought about it now...the bond I felt between us was almost like the bond you feel with a sibling.
The more i took in this elder I had a sense like I've seen him before but I just can't put my finger on it.
"Silver I feel like I've seen him before, but I cannot for the life of me work out where" I say, I felt silvers eyes on me before he turned back to look at the guy.
'ill watch him' he says before disappearing, I look around and he was no where in sight.
I hated when he did that, on top of that when I looked back toward the elders he was gone, causing me to frown and that uneasy feeling to arrive again.
My eyes slowly began to scan before him when suddenly a hand covers my mouth.
My heart began to pound so loud it's all I heard in my ears, my voice locked in my throat and my eyes closed tight in fright.
I somehow managed to turn in this person's arms and my hands came up in a defence style.
Bright gold light shined through my closed eye lids and the body left mine instantly, causing my eyes to slowly open curiously.
It was like everything was in slow motion, first thing my eyes took notice off was the bright gold and black light coming from my hands.
My eyes snap up and they connect with Oscar's glowing blue, shocked eyes.
His body was flying through the air as we all watch in shock, which only seemed to grow when we see blue lights of power come from his hands.
He lands perfectly on his feet which surprised even him by the look in his eyes.
I quickly rushed over to him in panic "why the hell would you sneak up on me like that,?" I say taking his face in my hands and looking at him closely.
His gently grabs both my wrists but don't move me away "it was a joke, you wasn't paying attention. I was trying to make you jump-" he stops for a moment, his eyes searching my face before he smiles.
"Can you feel it?" He beams, I instantly knew what he meant.
I felt the strength and power running through my veins, which only seemed to strength when I touched my mate.
I let go for a moment and instantly the feeling died down slightly, but the second I touched him again it exploded round my body making me shake.
I nod but before I could say anything the elders were Infront of us, I turned to look at them now noticing the kingdom watching.
The land grew lighter before our very eyes and I watch every creature on my land, look at their hands or close their eyes as we all felt the same thing.
For the first time since we've been here I witness all the elders smile before to everyone's surprise they lower their eyes from mine, looking at the floor and to a knee instantly.
I raise a brow and look over at Oscar before looking over at my brother who looked proud.
"The kingdom has spoken!" My dad's voice booms beside me making me jump, when I look at him I could see how proud he was for some reason.
"Oscar and iris has been chosen and accepted by the land, they are the king and queen!" He says before his eyes connect with the elders as they look up for a moment.
He grabs my hand "her identity has been proven-" seriousness entered his face and he didn't turn away from the elders "she IS iris Maxwell. THE MAGIC IS RESTORED!"
Instantly cheers explode from everywhere as they all kneel to us.
Oscar comes beside me and grabs my hand, causing the power to grow instantly through everyone.
Then before our very eyes, one by one they all began to upgrade to level A*'s.
"Yes! Yes that's it. Let go! Let go of it all! Become one with your beasts. Give in, together we will be the strongest kingdom alive!" My voice beams out causing dad and oscar to look at me.
On order to become what my dad was, they had to do the one thing that was never heard off.
Become one with your beast, you have to break every part of you, every barrier between human and animal to become one. To think, feel and act as one.
Now it's uncommon because only a few each century are born like it and it's not normally something you can force yourself to be.
However with the right training and the right pressure then anything is possible.
Very soon every creature before me stood more bigger, stronger and more powerful then ever before and it caused a smile to break out on my face.
"WE DID IT! We have become what no other kingdom in history has become! Now we must stick together, we must stay by each others side" I look at them all.
"WE are stronger together" strangely they all started chanting my last words, none the less I felt the pride build inside me.
I will one day get used to the cheers of people...maybe.
I step back into Oscar's arms, looking up at him to be met with them eyes I love dearly.
"I'm so f*cking proud you baby" he say making me smile even wider, I lean forward placing a kiss on his lips which he deepens instantly.
After a moment we pulls away and he pulls me into a hug, warmth filled my body until my eyes catch a glimpse of something.
For just a second my eyes thought it caught a glimpse of that elder again, just watching.
But the moment my eyes focused on him properly he was gone.
"Okay!" One of the elders voices says and instantly everyone fell quiet "enlight of the good news, training is officially over! Of course we will still have to do basic training but for now you are free to go. A huge dinner in the king and queen favour is being prepared as we speak so please start making your way there"
Again cheers filled the air before everyone began to walk towards the castle.
Oscar looked at me "go ahead I'll be right behind you" I say smiling softly.
He stared at me unsure before I give him a nod and after a moment he turns and walks towards the castle.
Oscar picked both Alex and Callum up under either arm causing Blake to laugh, Lexi and Aaron was was close together whispering something quietly so no one saw.
However judging by the look both Oscar and Blake saw everything and have done for quite some time.
The further they got away I slowly felt my smile start to fade from my face as I felt the unwelcoming feeling building deep inside me.
Once again that feeling of uneasiness, dread and fear hit me and I felt like something was going to happen.
I once again watched as my pack walked towards the castle, happier then these last few days.
"Something going to happen isn't it?" I said softly already feeling Freya behind me.
As time has gone on Ive felt lesser and lesser connected with silver, which is strange and I don't think that's ever happened to anyone before.
'Yes but you have an advantage' she says softly, not taking her eyes of our family.
"And what's that?" I say turning my head to look at her, she looks down and meets my eye.
'You have the greatest weapon of all. You have me'
A fake smile takes over my face and I start walking to catch up with my pack, only for the smile to leave instantly and my whole body freezes.
When flashes of images of that elder earlier enters my head, only this time know where Ive seen him before.
He was the guy hanging on the tunnel walls in the vampires hide out...he was their king.
What was his name?
THOMAS!
The cold reality hit me and it hit me hard the moment his name entered my head.
But Killian said he was dead, his supposed to be dead right?
So why did I just see him and why me?
I try and ignore the feelings that was building up inside me as I took off running towards the direction of my pack.
The need to be close to them overpowered everything.
I told myself that it was okay because I have everyone here and they'd protect me.
Right?
Only thing is...can they really keep her safe this time?
Or is history just going to repeat itself...it does have a habit of always running full circle, through every century.
What makes this one any different?
This chapter was called uneasy feeling, I've kinda kept the baseline of what this chapter was about.
I've just made it better.
Forgive me for being away, been working so much lately that by the time I get home all I do is sleep.
But in between I have been writing these chapters, for once it's not the longest chapter and TBF I'm not to happy about it lol.
