3 weeks later
Nat's pov
I rush down the corridor with angry stomping feet as I do, I sharply turn round the corner ignoring the voices of other agents.
How could he? Why would he? I can't believe him that son of a bitc-
"Romanoff!" I hear shouts that interrupt my thoughts, I turn around with my eyebrows furrowed and anger in my eyes
"I know your angry-"
"Angry coulson I'm pissed"
"Look just calm down" I roll my eyes at the last remark I haven't got time for this
"I need to do this" I say turning around and waking off, I know it's harsh but he lied to me to keep me safe and now Steve could get hurt or worse I swear if anything happens him I don't know what I'll do
"Look nat he can take care of himself" I stare at him, seriously did he just say that he has no clue what the red room, what Ivan is capable of
"Oh yeah and what if he can't huh what then coulson?"
"It won't come to that nat ok don't worry" I roll my eyes not even bothering to have this conversation I have someone else's time to waste and it's not gonna end well for them.
I storm into his room not bothering to knock on it
"Fury you son of a bitch"
I try to punch him but he dodges it easily and grabs my fist
"Just listen to me ok"
"No" I punch him with my spare arm and continue to punch and punch until my fists are like rain coming down on him, but yet he's skilled enough to only manage for one of my punches to hit him, maybe his is a worthy opponent after all. He counters with an uppercut and catches me in the lip I slightly stammer back but gain my balance again
"I trusted you" I shout whilst again throwing kicks and punches his way I mange to hit him and hit him but he just throws counters few hit my face but nothing major
"Romanoff stop" coulson and Tripp come running in and pull me back off fury who is holding his nose
"You lied and I trusted you, your one of the few people I actually trust and turns out your no good either"
I try and get free but tripp's arms hold mine tight
"Calm down romanoff ok we had to end this and he's the only one who can do it"
"That's BS I can end it right now, but you decide to send Steve the one person I care about most who can get hurt because of me"
"You couldn't go it's too dangerous, Mays on a separate opp with daisy and ward which leaves one specialist, who isn't entirely qualified for this opp no offence Tripp which leaves 2 scientists and a super soldier who else was gonna go" I stare at him like he's my worst enemy but at this point it feels like he is, I mean I know he's doing it to protect me and I love him for that but putting Steve in danger and choosing his life over mine that's what pisses me off especially when it's my past and my life screwing it up
"How about no one!"
"No we needed to make a move and soon and I had no other options and I didn't want anyone telling you because I knew you'd act like this but actually how you even found out in the first place I don't know"
"You've got the worlds best spy in your super secret base fury, it wasn't hard and you did have another option you just didn't want to chose it but in the end you know it's gonna come on the table it's just the question of when" I yank my arms out of coulson and tripp's grip avoiding their looks and touch my lip leaving a small imprint of blood on my finger, I look at him one last time and storm out, I'm sick of fury and his lies time to make things right once and for all and no one's going to get in my way, not even fury and his lies not this time.
