I had an emergency, that's why I am leaving early today. It's something official... You'll not even try to listen, so I thought to leave before you woke.
Sri was saying that today is some Parents-Teachers Meet in her school. I will not be able to make it up, so as her mother please attend it, and take my side too. I think you know how to handle our daughter, tell something so she won't make a fuss in front of our parents tomorrow.
And yesterday I got a call from your office. You didn't tell me that your colleagues are throwing a success party for you. I think I wouldn't be able to attend it.
Anyway, don't forget about that meet in Sri's school.
