The sun rose up and the sky began to lighten up Wonderland and everything it shined upon. The birds started to chirp, the flowers began to wake, and people started to go about the new day.The burning glow of the light hit Discord's eyes, causing him to wake up. He yawned as he tried to open his eyes.
"Ugh...what a night. Fluttershy.....stargazing......singing....and-" Discord said before he heard a noise coming from right next to him.
He looked and he saw Fluttershy cuddling in his chest as his arm was around her shoulder. His eyes widened in surprise and had the urge to jump, but Fluttershy was still asleep so he just stayed there as he watched Fluttershy sleeping on his chest. As Fluttershy slept, Discord couldn't help but smile at her. Thinking about what would happen if she stayed in Wonderland, instead of going back. Maybe...just maybe, Fluttershy could have the same feelings for him. Then they'll fall in love and live happily ever-
'No! I can't possibly think of such foolishness!! That dream she had last night, I fear if I keep feeling these emotions it could come true! But as long as I don't break the rule, nothing will bad happen. But what if everyone knew?! That means she would have to go back!! How could I possibly let her go if-' Discord thought, but his thoughts were interrupted by a sudden pain in his chest.
As he winced in pain, Fluttershy began to wake up. She rubbed her eyes as she looked up at Discord who was wincing in pain.
"Good morning Discord, are you okay?!" Fluttershy asked.
Discord looked down to see Fluttershy was awake.
"G-Good morning!! And yes I'm fine." Discord assured Fluttershy.
"Are your sure? You look like you're in pain." Fluttershy said as she sat up and looked at Discord.
"It's nothing, I've been in a lot more pain this." Discord replied.
"But what if it's something serious?! W-What if-" Fluttershy began to say but Discord cut her off.
"Fluttershy, there's nothing to be worried about. I'm fine, really! Now was your sleep? Any more bad dreams?" Discord asked.
"Well no. I slept great!!" Said Fluttershy.
"See? The star gazing really helped a lot! Now how about I make breakfast? Pancakes or waffles?" Discord asked.
"I'll have waffles please." Said Fluttershy.
Then Discord snapped his fingers and they were back in his house. As Discord started to make breakfast. Fluttershy went to her room to change. Some of the animals came through her window to help her pick out an outfit and do her hair. When she came out she look like this:
Fluttershy walked out of her bedroom to see Discord making waffles.
"Fluttershy! Your waffles are re-" Discord paused when he turned to Fluttershy to see her in her dress.
'Holy pepperoni!! She's so beautiful!!' Discord thought.
"Is this dress too much? I could change if you like?" Fluttershy asked.
"W-What? No no! That dress looks lovely on you! You don't need to change!" Discord said in a nervous voice.
Fluttershy giggled and sat at the table. When breakfast was done, she and Discord ate their waffles while talking and laughing at each other's jokes. When they were done they cleaned up and started to walk toward Applejack's house. As they walked along the trail Fluttershy made a joke that made Discord laugh hysterically, but at that moment the sun shined on him, making him shine. To Fluttershy, everything seemed to be in slow motion as she saw Discord laughing.
She felt herself feeling light and blushing as she saw him laugh. Fluttershy didn't know this, but their was a sudden beat in her chest. Not like a normal heartbeat, this one was.....different. It was faint at first, but then it made a sudden 'BOOM' inside of her causing her to stop.
"Fluttershy, are you alright?" Discord asked as he stopped and looked at Fluttershy.
Before she could answer the pain stopped. Oddly strange, isn't it?
"I-I'm fine. But thank you for asking." Fluttershy replied.
"Are you sure?" He asked again.
"Yes I'm fine." Fluttershy said with certainty in her voice.
They both continued to walk, and eventually made it to Applejack's Apple orchard. They saw the big barn with big fields of apple trees. But the apples were rainbow colored and a little staticky. The trees were navy blue and the leaves were purple.
"I guess it's zap apple season again." Said Discord.
"Zap apple?" Fluttershy asked.
"Wait, you never tried a zap Apple before? We need to fix that! I'm pretty sure applejack wouldn't mind if we ate some of her zap Apple pie. If she made it that is." Said Discord as he took Fluttershy's hand and led her to find applejack.
Fluttershy blushed when Discord took her hand, immediately she felt light but also a little giddy inside. When the two found applejack, she was carrying big giant baskets of zap apples. Right next to her was Twilight writing some things down on her scroll. Fluttershy was about to walk toward then to say hello, but Discord stopped her. Fluttershy looked at him in a confused manner, but he looked at her with a devious smile on his face.
"I've got an idea. Come with me!" Discord said as he took her hand and ran to one of the zap Apple trees.
He told Fluttershy to hide behind it and when she did, Discord climbed the tree and say on a branch.
"Discord what are you doing?" Fluttershy whispered asked.
"You'll see." Discord replied as he hid behind the leaves and branches.
Fluttershy was confused, but when she saw Applejack and Twilight walking over to the tree she hid behind and listens to their footsteps.
"How many baskets does Queen Rarity need? She gonna be taking all the zap apples and soon there ain't gonna none left!" Said Applejack.
"The Queen requests these apples for the gala remember? And since its zap Apple season she needs them to be served as deserts. And we only need one more basket." Twilight explained.
"Well alright." Applejack replied.
She got a basket and went to the apple tree where Fluttershy and Discord were hiding in. When applejack was about to pick one of the apples, Discord jump scared her while hanging upside down from the branch. Applejack and Twilight screamed as they fell backwards
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You should've seen the looks on your faces!! Priceless!!" Discord laughed as he still hung upside down.
"Discord!! Out of all the pranks you have made, this one was-" Applejack said but Discord cut her off.
"Was what? See that Fluttershy? That's how you perfectly scare someone!!" Said Discord.
Fluttershy came from behind the tree and hugged Applejack and Twilight. They were so happy to see them, the jumped up and down and squealed. The sqealing startled Discord and he fell out of the tree. Fluttershy saw what happened and she went over to Discord.
"Discord, are you okay?!" Fluttershy asked.
"Yeah, I'm alright. But why does Queen Rarity need all these zap apples?" Discord replied as he got up.
"Rarity wants them to be served at the gala that's happening next week. It's for Fluttershy since she's the guest of honor." Twilight explained.
"A gala?! That's wonderful!! Discord can you please accompany me to the gala?" Fluttershy asked.
"Well..." Discord said.
"Please?" Fluttershy asked.
Discord looked into her eyes, and couldn't resist that sweet innocent face of hers.
"Oh alright." Discord finally said.
"Yay!!" Fluttershy said as she jumped up and down.
"But first, I need some zap apple pie!!!!" Discord said as he looked at Applejack.
"Fine, you can have some, when I'm done filling up another basket." Applejack said.
After Applejack said that, discord kicked the tree right next to him and the zap apples fell into the basket. Fluttershy and the others were surprised.
"Last basket...is now full. Now where's the pie?!" Discord asked.
"It's right here." Twilight said as she held the delectable pie in her hands.
Without wasting anytime, the group of friends sat down at a picnic table just outside the barn and they started to eat. They all talked and laugh as the day went on. At one point, the Cheshire Cat showed up at of nowhere and stole Discord's pie!! He got mad and started to chase the Cheshire Cat all through the apple orchard while Fluttershy laughed at him. When Discord heard Fluttershy laugh he took a quick glance at her and smiled. Before he accidentally ran into a tree.
Fluttershy gasped and then ran over to Discord.
"Discord are you ok?!" Fluttershy asked as she kneeled beside him.
"Momma is that you? Why is there five of you?" Discord asked, but Fluttershy knew that he was just joking.
She giggled and blushed at his silliness, while Discord chuckled while blushing. At the table, applejack observed the two and had an uneasy feeling in her.
'Those two are blushin like crazy!! I know the two are friends, but they're actin like...wait a darn pickin minute! Are those two...what I think they're in? Are they...in love?' Applejack thought.
