I looked around at the waiting room, so many people have been sitting around waiting for hours. So many familiar faces, so many unfamiliar faces.
After three hours, the doctor finally came out.
"Catharine, Niall."
Her mother and I stood.
"Oh god! Is my baby girl okay?"
Catherine was not okay.
"May I speak with you both." He indicated we follow to a less crowded area in the waiting room.
"Andrea fainted in class when her water broke."
"What?" Catherine was pale "She's only 29 weeks."
The doctor nodded. "We tried to slow things down and stable her, but the babies had other plans."
I nodded.
"She had a seizure, and wasn't responding."
Oh god
"We decided to preform an emergency C-Section."
"Okay." I nodded
"Two of the babies are okay."
"What about her!" I yelled a little too loudly, people started staring.
"Andrea did not recover completely from the seizure."
"What does that mean? What do you mean she didn't fully recover!" I demanded
"Andrea is gone."
"What the fuck do you mean gone?"

I stood in front of the nursery window looking down at my daughter and son.
My girlfriend, the mother of my two beautiful babies is brain dead.
Willow and Ethan will never meet their mother, they will never know her and how amazing she is.
"Niall, what's going on?"
I gave Harry an apologetic look. "She's gone mate."
"How? She can't just be gone?"
I nodded. "Gone."
"She was okay four hours ago."
I took a deep breath.
"She's gone mate."
The more I say it out loud the harder it is to believe.
"The babies?"
I hugged him tight.
"Two."
"W-what?" His voice cracked. "What do you mean two?"
"Willow and Ethan." I said sobbing into his shoulder.
"Logan?"
I shook my head.
"No Logan, and no Andrea."
