Discord stood frozen where he was standing as millions of thoughts came to his mind.
'She's back!!! But how?!?! Why is she so big?!?! Has it been 12 years?!?!?!' The Mad Hatter thought.
As the questions kept coming to his head, Fluttershy was looking at him while rubbing her arm. She didn't know what to say! How could she say anything? This is the first time since these two friends have seen each other for a while. After a few moments of awkward silence, the Mad Hatter finally broke from his trance.
"F-Fluttershy.....is that you?" He asked.
"Yes....it's me." Fluttershy replied as she walked toward him and picked up his cup.
"B-But how?!?! The last time is saw you were no higher than my knee. Sweet Celestia have you grown a lot! And you've grown quite beautiful as well." He said as he took her hand.
Fluttershy blushed but tried to hide it behind her hair. The Mad Hatter then led her to sit at the end of the table to talk.
"So Fluttershy, how did you come back to Wonderland?" He asked.
"W-Well, I was at a party and I was talking to some people, and that's when I saw angel and the Cheshire Cat. And let's just say that I had to...speak in front of a crowd and then that's when I saw them in a bush a and then they ran away. I got lost in my words and I ran after them! And that's when I came here." Fluttershy explained.
"So that means your going back then I suppose?" The Mad Hatter asked as he snapped his fingers and a teapot that was filled with chocolate milk poured into two cups.
"I-I guess. I mean, my father and my friends must me so worried about me by this point and I have to...um....finish what I had to say in front of the crowd." Fluttershy said shyly and took a sip of her chocolate milk.
"This party that you were at, what were you celebrating about?" The Mad Hatter asked.
"I-It was an engagement party." Fluttershy replied.
"I see. For a friend or family member I suppose?" He asked.
"N-No. T-The party was for...me." Fluttershy mumbled.
The Mad Hatter almost spit out his tea when he heard the last part. But then he swallowed hardly and took a deep breath.
"Question, how old are you?" The Mad Hatter asked.
"I'm 18 years old." Fluttershy replied.
"Hold that thought!" He quickly said and took a sip of his chocolate milk, only to spit it right back out. "WHAT?!?! You're 18?! I still can't believe it's been that long!! But aren't you a little bit too young to get married?"
"Yes, but it's only the engagement. I don't get married until I'm 20." Said Fluttershy.
"Well I suppose that your fiancé is getting worried about you. Correct?" The Mad Hatter asked.
"I-I suppose, but the truth is that I don't love him." Said Fluttershy.
(Quick A/N all of you fluttercord shippers can now rest in peace knowing that fluttermac is dead!!!!)
"Then why are you marrying him? When you marry someone it's out of love." Asked the Mad Hatter.
"It was an arranged marriage. But my father has always told me to marry for love. Oh dear, he must be so worried about me!!" Fluttershy said, having a little worry inside of her.
"Before you leave Fluttershy, would you stay for dinner?" He asked.
Fluttershy looked in his red eyes and admired how they kinda glittered every time he does something kind. How could she say no? It's been a while since they've seen each other.
"Yes." Fluttershy replied.
The Mad Hatter smiled as he snapped his fingers and then the table was cleared.
"This gives me a great opportunity to pull off a French accent." He said as Fluttershy giggled.
He snapped his fingers again and then he appeared on the table with dining utensils lined up behind him. He was now wearing a black tuxedo with a black top hat and cane.

That's when the Mad Hatter got off form the table as the dishes and other utensils started to sing and dance! Fluttershy smiled in amazement, for she hasn't seen anything as quite as amazing as this!

Then the candle sticks cam up to Fluttershy, full with spirt!

Then the napkins and tea cups were dancing around in circles and Fluttershy couldn't help but smile.
"It's a guest It's! a guest
Sakes alive well, I'll be blessed
Wine's been poured and thank the Lord
I've had the napkins freshly pressed
With dessert, she'll want tea
And my dear that's fine with me.
While the cups do their soft-shoeing
I'll be bubbling I'll, be brewing
I'll get warm, piping hot
Heaven's sakes! Is that a spot?
Clean it up!
We want the company impressed!!
We've got a lot to do!

That's when the Mad Hatter was back on the table once he started singing again, he and the candle sticks were doing the kick line.
"Course by course,
One by one.
'Til you shout "Enough, I'm done!"
Then we'll sing you off to sleep as you digest
Tonight you'll prop your feet up,
But for now, let's eat up

And with the finale the champagne bottles popped open, all at the same time and the entire table was filled with as the Mad Hatter came to Fluttershy and bowed.
"Dinner is served." He said.
Fluttershy smiled and clapped.
"That was amazing!!! I never knew you were an entertainer!!" Fluttershy said.
"Well entertaining is not my specialty but I wouldn't say I'm terrible at it. I'm glad you enjoyed the show! Now let's eat, before the food wanders off our plates!!" He said.
And with that being said, they started eating, and the food was delicious!! As they ate, they talked and told each other jokes. Both laughing like they did so long ago. It was then getting late and Fluttershy said she would go back to her world. The Mad Hatter offered his arm and Fluttershy took it. As they walked through the night, Fluttershy heard noises coming from everywhere and she jumped while holding on to the Mad Hatter's arm.
"There's nothing to be afraid of my dear. When you're with me, nothing bad will happen to you." He reassured her.
Fluttershy blushed a little and kept walking. They both eventually made it to the door from where Fluttershy came through and stood there staring at it.
"So...I guess this is goodbye, I guess." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"I guess so." Fluttershy replied.
They both just stood there having nothing to say other than their goodbyes. But when they did, Fluttershy went to the door and was about to take the handle, but she stopped. She looked at the Mad Hatter and then back at the door. Instead of going through, she turned around and hugged the Mad Hatter. He was surprised but hugged her back.
"Y-You know, I don't have to leave yet. M-Maybe I could stay with you, for a little while if that's ok?" Fluttershy asked.
The Mad Hatter's joy was lifted, he smiled as he looked down at her.
"Of course you can stay with me. I'll tell you what, you still haven't met all your friends right? So tomorrow we can go to the village and visit them. How about that?" He asked.
"That would be wonderful!" Said Fluttershy.
Then the Mad Hatter snapped his fingers and then they were both back at his house. With his magic, he made a spare room just for Fluttershy that was filled with flowers, clothes and a very comfortable bed. Fluttershy grew quite tired and they both said goodnight.
'She's staying!! That's just wonderful!! Maybe if she wants to she could stay here forever and-wait. No! She couldn't stay here forever. I mean, she still has a family to go back to. But if she does, then she'll be married to someone she doesn't love!' He thought.
Just thinking about it just made him more confused. He then looked back at Fluttershy's bedroom door.
'I hope she does stay.'
That was his final thought before he went off to bed.
