I laid on my bed with my notebook, trying to study. I couldn't concentrate. One minute I was blushing and biting my lip, the next minute I was crying and wiping my cheeks, and the minute after that, I was screaming into my pillow. I didn't tell Flynn that May had taped us in his car, but from the heavy knock on the door I could tell he found out.
I ran down the steps and opened the door.
Flynn flew inside. "What is May's problem?"
I acted clueless.
"She taped us in my car. Does she have some mental illness you haven't told me about?"
I stared at the floor, paralyzed. She was risking everything for me. "I've never seen her act like this before."
"We have to get that phone."
"We?"
"Yes we. We need to delete that video."
"She probably changed her password by now."
"You can try it."
"I'm freaking out,"I started shaking.
This was the girl I was trying to avoid. The girl I wore black to cover up. I was the soft girl again. The girl who freaked out in intense situations.
He hugged me. "Don't worry, alright?"
I frowned. Everything was going down hill.

I walked over to May. Instead of the angry, betrayed look, she looked scared and nervous.
"I'm sorry,"she started crying. "For everything."
"I'm sorry too-"
"I'm really really sorry."
I squinted at her. "What did you do?"
She broke down.
I stared at her in horror. She shared the video. I looked around for Flynn. I noticed people running in the opposite direction. I followed them.
"Hayden...Stop!," I heard Flynn shout.
I quickly pushed to the front.
Hayden was on top of Flynn. He punched him in the face.
I shrieked and then rushed over to them. I pushed Hayden off of Flynn and helped him up.
"I knew this seductive twit was using you,"he shouted. "I just knew it...but I denied it. I.. I can't believe you, Harley,"he backed up. "I really can't believe you." He pushed through the crowd.
I looked at Flynn.
He frowned, wiping the blood from his nose.

I sat on the football field, alone staring at my phone. May had apologized through text. She showed Hayden the video as revenge for what Flynn said to her,(I had no clue what he said), and they slept together as revenge. How stupid could she be? I couldn't believe that things went this far in just two months and a couple of days. And I still had eight more to go.
I wiped the tears off my cheek.
"Harley?,"Megan stood above me.
"Huh?,"I looked up at her.
"Hey,"she sat down beside me. "You and Flynn huh?"
I looked at her.
"Poor Hayden thought you two were sleeping together.... Who knew he liked you like that, huh?"
"Yeah," I looked away,"who knew."
"I've got something that would probably cheer you up." She handed me a tall bottle of water.
"Water?,"I furrowed my brows at her.
"It's vodka dummy,"she giggled. "My mother alway tells me she's proud of how hydrated I am."
I opened it and in stiffed it. "I don't know...I shouldn't,"I closed it back.
"Come on Harley. I'm pretty sure it'll be more drama for you when Eva hears about that fight. You need this drink."
I stared at the bottle. It'll be drama when Heather hears about it.
"It's better if you remember your argument with her three weeks from now or don't remember it at all, right?"
I opened the bottle and drank from it. I started choking.
She laughed and tapped my back. "Keep the bottle alright? You can always throw in the dumpster at the back of the school." She stood up.
"Thanks,"I cleared my throat.
"Anytime." She smiled, then walked away.
I put the bottle to my lips again.

I staggered over to my car and opened the door.
"Harley?,"May walked over to me. "Are you okay?"
"Don't..,"I stuck my hand in her face. "Don't touch me...you..you traitor,"I got into the car.
"Are you drunk?"
"No...I'm not drunk..,"I jammed my key into the ignition and started the car.
"Oh my gosh. Harley, you can't drive...You might get into an accident or something."
"So what?"
"You can die."
"I'm better off dead,"I put my hand on the stirring wheel.
"Oh my goodness,"she looked around the parking lot. "Flynn!...Flynn!..Urgh! This is not the time to ignore me!...It's Harley!"
I didn't want him to see me. I reversed the car and almost hit someone. May screamed.
The boy hit my trunk. "Are you crazy?,"he walked over to my window. "OH MY GOD. You're buzzed."
"I'm..I'm not buzzed,"I looked at him.
Flynn rushed over to the car.
A couple of the kids, including Megan, followed him.
"Harley, open the door,"he banged on my window.
I looked at him and slowly opened the door. Everyone was staring at me. "Don't...Don't look at me."
"I'm taking you home,"he tucked his hands under my arms and lifted me out of the car.
May was in tears.
I put my head on Flynn's shoulder and shut my eyes.

I woke up on his bed. He was sitting beside me. "Why am I here?,"I rubbed my eyes. "What time is it?"
"It's eight thirty-six,"he looked at his watch.
"What?,"I sat up. "I need to go home."
"You still smell like vodka."
"Why did you take me here? My parents are going to be so mad."
"Would you rather that you get in trouble for being drunk or that you get in trouble for being here?"
I didn't answer him.
"I thought so...Besides, the door is open and Franky knows you're here...I..uhm..,"he got up and walked over to his table. "I went over to your house before your mom got home and I got you some clothes." He walked over to me with the folded clothes in his hands.
"You went through my underwear drawer?....,"I picked up the underwear,"and you folded them?"
"I only folded that one...just that one,"he chuckled.
I shook my head at him.
"You can use my shower if you want...The only problem with that is...you might end up smelling like me because I don't have any girl soap in my shower."
I giggled then frowned.
"Who gave you the drink, Harley?"
"I'm not a snitch,"I tried to giggle.
"Why'd you drink it?,"he sat beside me again.
"....I wanted to drink the pain away, I guess,"I shrugged and looked down.
He put his hands on my cheeks and turned my face toward his. He put his forehead against mine. "Never do that again. Do you hear me?"
I nodded and frowned. A tear ran down my cheek.
He threw his arms around me. "You could've killed someone...You could've died,"he started crying. "I don't know what I would've done if you did."
His cousin died in a car accident a few years before. I got why he was so shaken.
I hugged him back. "I'm sorry."
