This is the last installment of Misa and Kazuo's adventures. I'm still trying to write the next chapters for the main story line.

Sometime in the past,
Misa and Kazuo are walking on the street on their way to Misa's house.
Misa: Hey, Kazuo, are you busy this weekend?
Kazuo: Um...Let see...I'll be studying for the midterms...and maybe doing some chores too. Why do you ask?
Misa: What?! The midterms are three weeks away from now. Are you crazy?! You're such a nerd.
Kazuo: It doesn't hurt to study.
Misa: You're making me look bad. I haven't even studied...I'll just procrastinate and wait until the last nanosecond.
Kazuo: You're hopeless. I can help you with your studies if you want...
Misa: I may take that offer...but probably a day before the exam. I'll be busy reading BL manga, watching BL anime and playing BL games from here on out.
Kazuo: Unbelievable...
I laugh.
Misa: Well, I was just wondering if you can come with me to the bookstore tomorrow.
Kazuo's thought bubble: Is she asking me out?!! I should take advantage of this!!
Kazuo: I'll go with you!!
Misa: Geez, it's just the bookstore, why are you so excited?
That didn't take a lot of convincing.
I thought we would turn me down.
I guessed wrong.
Kazuo is weird sometimes...
I don't get him.
I can't judge him...
I'm pretty weird myself.
Misa: Okay, then it's settled.
The truth of the matter is...
I have a mega ulterior motive.
There is a book signing event of my favorite BL manga and I need Kazuo to be with me.

Saturday comes and Kazuo secretly picks me up from my house.
My parents still don't know Kazuo's existence.
If they find out...
They'll go crazy over him and forcefully push him onto me.
I don't want that...
Some parents forbid their daughters to date—

They're probably thinking that I'm gay or something...
It's not like there's something wrong with it.
I totally understand where they're coming from.
It's just that...I don't want them meddling on my personal affairs.
Misa: Thank you for waiting, let's go.
Kazuo shows up with his casual clothes.
I haven't seen him dressed up like this.
Despite his nerdy nature, he knows how to dress well.
It is something simple...but I think that pretty much any clothes will look good on him.
Misa: You look good.
Kazuo looks surprised, tilts his head and scratches the back of his head.
Kazuo: Thanks...um...
He slowly glances at me.
Kazuo: Um...you look...cute too.
Misa: Thanks! You know...I was expecting that you'd be dressed as a geek. Um...with high waist pants, tucked in shirt, unflattering glasses and a fanny pack.
Kazuo: You're ridiculous!! Why would I dress like that?!
I got him mad.
I even surprise myself on how funny I am.
Misa: Enough talking!!! We need to go. I want to be the first in line.
I pull Kazuo towards the station.
Kazuo: What is this "thing" anyway?
Misa: You'll see once we get there.
Kazuo's thought bubble: I have a bad feeling about this...What did I get myself into?!

We ran in front of the bookstore and luckily it was still empty.
Misa: We made it!! We're the first one here!!! YAY!!
Kazuo is trying to catch his breath.
Kazuo: What...is...this...anyway? Tell...me.
Misa: Well, today is the release of "My Highly Sexual Young Master." This is supposedly the last volume and I heard it's very steamy with lots of graphic material. I'm drooling just thinking about it...
Kazuo: Why would you take me here?! People will get the wrong idea of me!!!
Misa: Gosh, it's fine!! You're thinking too much. Just pretend to be my boyfriend, I'll be clinging onto you, all lovey-dovey, once people begin arriving.
Kazuo's thought bubble: Pretend...to be her boyfriend?!! I'M IN!!! Let's do this!!
Kazuo: Kay...when is this book signing anyway?
Misa: It's at eleven.
Kazuo: WHAT?! Eleven?! It's only nine o' clock. What the heck is wrong with you?!
Misa: WE NEED TO BE THE FIRST IN LINE!!! The first ten people will get a limited edition "My Highly Sexual Young Master" poster, a three-minute conversation with the author and a key chain!!! A FREAKING LIMITED EDITION KEY CHAIN KAZUO!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND!?!
Kazuo: Can you calm down...You're screaming into my ear.
Misa: So, there you have it.
Kazuo: So, you're meaning to say...I woke up...just...for this?!
Misa: I'm sorry...but...um...but...You'll be compensated later...for your inconvenience.
Good job, Misa, quick thinking there!
What compensation should I give him!?

Kazuo's thought bubble: COMPENSATION?! What could it be!?
He was angry a minute ago and now...he seemed to be in a good mood.
Kazuo is so weird.
Kazuo: You could have gone alone; you know? Why do you have to take me?!
Misa: Oh that...I want to get two books signed.
Kazuo: Why do you need two?
Misa: Ugh...do I have to explain it?!
Kazuo: Yes, of course! I don't understand your logic.
Misa: Psh...fine! I'll frame the first book. The other one is for reading and hugging. Gosh!
Kazuo: Is that really necessary?!
Misa: YES! YES! YES, IT IS!!! Each person gets only one book signed...that's why I brought you here. I need two.
Kazuo: I knew something was up! I had this bad feeling earlier! You tricked me!!
Misa: Gosh! Calm down...like I said, you'll be compensated for your trouble.
It was still early...what to do...
Kazuo is leaning against the wall and looking pissed off.
I start looking around and spotted a cutout figure of the main character.
Misa: Hey, Kazuo...come over here for second.
Kazuo: Ugh...what now?
He slowly drags his feet towards me.
Misa: Stand next to that cutout. I'll take a picture of you.
Kazuo: Why?!
Misa: Just 'coz. Do it!! Come on.
Kazuo: Ugh...why are you so demanding...all the freaking time...
He let out a huge sigh.
Misa: Please...please...pretty please...
Kazuo: Sheesh...fine.
He comes over and stands next to the cutout.
I snap a picture.
Misa: Okay, now...wrap your arms around him.
Kazuo: WHY?! ARE YOU MAD!?
Misa: Come on...no one is here. Do it already!!!
Kazuo: Seriously, Misa...you are using all of your luck.
Kazuo unwillingly hugs the half-naked cutout figure.
I snap another picture.
Misa: Okay, last one. Caress his nipples and show some strong impressions with your face as if you're going to own that uke.
Kazuo: You gotta be kidding me!
Misa: Do it or I'll show these pictures to everyone!
Kazuo: Don't you dare!!!
Misa: Don't fight it...just do it already!!!
Kazuo: UGH!!! Misa...one of these days...I'll get you...you better watch your back!
Misa: Yea, yea. Just do it already!!
Again, Kazuo reluctantly obeys my instructions.
Misa: It's not looking good. Give me a more believable expression!!! Make love to the camera!!
I should stop bullying him...he looks uncomfortable already.
Misa: Ugh, that's enough. This one picture will work for me.
All of a sudden, Kazuo charges at me and grabs my phone.
Kazuo: I'll delete these.
Kazuo taps on my phone...
Misa: MY PRECIOUS!!! NO!!! KAZUO, DON'T!!!
I fall on my knees on the floor.
Kazuo extends his arm with my phone on his hand, makes a peace sign and snaps a picture.
Kazuo: What a nice commemorative photo...I'll send this to myself and make it as my wallpaper. Your defeated face is priceless.
Misa: You're so mean...my pictures...my precious...
I begin to tear up a bit.
Kazuo panics.
Then it hit me...
I can use this to my advantage.
Kazuo: Uh...Misa...don't cry. I was just playing...
I continue tearing up...
People are starting to notice and stare.
Kazuo panics even more.
Kazuo: Fine, we'll do another photoshoot with the cutout.
I quickly stand up and wipe my tears.
Misa: Okay...less standing and more molesting that cutout. Chop. Chop.
Kazuo's thought bubble: My counterattack has backfired...ugh!!! HOW ANNOYING!!

It was about ten o' clock when people began falling in line.
Kazuo pulls me on the side and says.
Kazuo: Misa, do something. The girls behind me are saying I'm a fudanshi!
Misa: Okay, fine. Sheesh, why do care so much on what people think?
Kazuo: You said...earlier!!
Misa: Fine. Fine.
I move closer to Kazuo, take his left arm and wrap my arm around it.
Random Girl: Look at that couple in front. What a supportive boyfriend!
Random Girl: Yea...he must be a great boyfriend...agreeing to fall in line for a smutty BL manga.
Random Girl: He's such a hottie too!
Random Girl: What a lucky girl!!! I want to strangle her!
Random Girl: Life is so unfair...
Random Girl: orz, relationship goals...
Random Girl: Yea, we'll probably die as lonely fujoshis.
Random Girl: You got that right, sister!
Kazuo's thought bubble: Whoa, they think we're a couple. I'm so happy...

We got the books, met the author, got our books signed and received the freebies.
Misa: AH!!! I'm so happy...I can die. Thank you for coming Kazuo!!! I wouldn't have gotten two copies without your help!!
Kazuo: You're always duping me into doing weird shit...this should be expected from you and I should begin retaliating.
Misa: Oh please, Kazuo, you're over reacting. You'll be compensated, right? Where do you want to eat?
Kazuo: You're treating?
Misa: Yea, I am. This is the least thing that I can do for your trouble.

Kazuo suggested a hot pot place.
We arrived at the restaurant and sat next to each other.
They served the veggies and the meat in front of us.
Misa: Thank you for the food.
Kazuo: Thank you for the food.
We began eating and halfway through I noticed that Kazuo wasn't touching his veggies and putting it on the side.
Misa: Why are you not eating your vegetables? Don't waste it! Do you know how many people are starving right now!?
I grab a mouthful of veggies with my chopsticks and shove it into Kazuo's mouth.
Kazuo: Wha—
Kazuo didn't resist and chewed the food.
Misa: There!
Oh shit... why did I do that?!
I used my own chopsticks!!
IT WAS AN INDIRECT KISS!
Kazuo's thought bubble: SHE USED HER CHOPSTICK! INDIRECT KISS!!!
I look away.
Misa: Um...uh...you should...eat your vegetables...
Kazuo: Uh...huh...yea.
Misa: Don't...um...waste food.
Kazuo: Ye—s.
Kazuo slowly looks on to his.
Kazuo: The vegetables...um...weren't that bad.
Stop being cute and making it awkward!!
Misa: Then, eat all of it!!!
