What is wrong with me?! I'm falling in love with Christopher by the moment! He is the kindest guy, and I think he has feelings for me too. The way he looks at me...
But I know I'll wake up from this nightmare sooner or later. I'll wake up on his wedding day ...in the afternoon ...after he recites his marriage vows to his bride. As I hear the wedding bells ring, I will still remain nothing but the beast I am.
The King questioned me again. I can't believe he didn't notice the fingernail floating in his soup. It's strange. I accidentally banged my fingernail (which was already hanging on its end) and dropped it in his soup. It was too late to scoop it out, so I tried to ignore it.
But I'm worried. Christopher's father has a suspicion that I'm not just Armelle, the kitchen wench.
