A few days has passed since Ai and Lily
went out together. Quartet Night is doing
very well in Saotome Academy.
"Oooh~ Yo, Mister Mikaze. Is there anything
you need from me? B{D" Saotome asked Ai
as Ai entered his office.
"May I ask for a favor?" Ai asked Saotome.
"Ohoho, and what is that, Mr.Mikaze..? B{D"
Saotome spinned his way to Ai.
"Can I be excused for not attending
my Sunday class?" Ai asked again.
"Ohh? For what reason? B{)" Saotome asked
as he did some crazy spinning moves....
"I have something really important to do."
Ai said with a serious expression.
"Hmm I'll give you the permission.
However, just once. The next time,
you have to be detailed on your excuse. B{D"
Saotome granted permission for Ai to be
excused just once.
"Thank you, principal. Also, I would like to ask
something else.." Ai added.
Meanwhile.. in their classroom..
Quartet Night is having fun as usual.
"Hey, hey, Myu-chan~! Have you tried
acting? ^w^" Reiji asked Camus.
"No. And why are you so hyper?"
Camus raised a brow and asked.
"Hehehe, because Ai-Ai made my day!~"
Reiji answered happily.
"WHAT. HE MADE YOUR DAY LOL"
Ranmaru laughed.
"Ehh? Ran-Ran~ you're thinking of something
else aren't you? you naughty Ran-Ran!~ ;)) ;3"
Reiji winked as he teased Ranmaru.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, I'M NOT. NO. GO AWAY"
Ranmaru violently reacted.. xD
"And how did Mikaze do that?"
Camus wondered.
"Hehehe Myu-chan is curious! >w<!!!
Ai-Ai didn't do anything for me at all.
It just puts me in a good mood whenever
I think about the things he do for Lily-chan~!"
Reiji teased Camus and explained afterwards..
"Oh, her? Like I told you.. He might develop
feelings of love and that will put us in trouble."
Camus warned Reiji again.
Reiji's deredere expression turned into a serious one.
"But I told you before too, right? We can..
keep it as a secret! ;)" Reiji winked with a "shh" pose.
"Ha. You can't keep them forever." Ranmaru said.
"EHH?! That will only happen if Ran-Ran and
Myu-chan betrays us!!! >^<" Reiji's deredere mode
is back and joked around again.
"OIII! THE THREE BOYS AT THE BACK! QUARTET NIGHT!!
YOU AREN'T PAYING ATTENTION AGAIN!!! >:@"
Ryuuya scolded the three.
"AAHHH! Sorry, sorry, sensei! @.@"
Reiji bowed his head and apologized.
"Ohh? Where is Ai-chan?" Ringo asked about Ai.
Suddenly Ai entered the classroom.
He entered the room with a smile..
"Oh. I apologize for leaving for a while. I
just had something to do." Ai said.
"I see.. o.O" Ringo said.
"Ai-Ai~!!! How was it?~ ^o^" Reiji asked Ai.
"It's going to be alright." Ai said as he
walked up to his seat and smiled.
"That's great! Ai-Ai!! ^0^" Reiji said.
"OII! Are you really not going to listen at all!?"
Ryuuya enraged and scolded them again. xD
"Ahhh so sorry Ryuuya-sensei! T^T"
Reiji apologized to Ryuuya again.
They stopped fooling around and started
listening to the discussions. It also appears
that they'll start acting from now on..
And now it's their dismissal.
Since tomorrow is Saturday
and there's no classes,
Reiji invited everyone to a
get together tomorrow.
Ai also invited Lily.
"Lily, let's go out with Reiji and the others tomorrow."
Ai told Lily and smiled at her.
"Eh? Oh sure.." Lily said.
"By the way.. the professor has given permission.
Shall we go out and look for that cat now?"
Ai asked Lily.
"I-Is that so?! That's great! Yeah, let's go!"
Lily answered happily.
The both were smiling so happily.
They went to the place where they met that kitty..
And they found her right away.
"Kitty! There you are!" Lily said with a bright smile on her face.
"Meow~! :3" The cat meowed and walked up to the two.
"She really likes Lily.." Ai said with a smile.
"I think she likes Ai-kun too!" Lily smiled at Ai
as she picked up the cat.
"Is that so..? That's nice to know."
Ai smiled and walked up to Lily to touch the cat.
"I think we should name her.. hmm.."
Lily starts to think.
"Lily."
Ai said.
"Eh???~ Why Lily?"
Lily asked and wondered.
"Why? Um.. I don't know, it just came to me?
But now that you've asked.. I guess it's
because it's my favorite word."
Ai said as he gently scratched his head.
"Ehh?! My name is your favorite word?!"
Lily was surprised.
"Yes.. so let's just call her Lily."
Ai insisted to name it after Lily.
"I-If you like it that way, then okay."
Lily agreed with Ai's suggestion.
"Hello, Lily-chan. We will be taking
care of you from now on." Ai said.
"Meowwww~!" The cat, Lily, meowed at Ai.
"Let's go home :D" Ai smiled at the two.
"Yes!" Lily smiled back.
They went home with their adorable pet cat, Lily.
And they plan to take her with them tomorrow.
They prepared a cute little bed for the cat alone.
Since it's night time already, they all went to sleep.
"Goodnight, Lily." Lily said to their pet cat and smiled
as she closed her eyes.
The next day...
They went to a restaurant to eat together with everyone.
Reiji rented the whole place for today. Saying
he wants to have fun. But he let other customers
come though.. Ringo and Ryuuya was invited as well.
"Sooooo~! I was asked to promote some brands
by making me their company's model! Isn't that
great? Right? Right? ^0^??" Reiji shared happily.
"Same here. Reiji and I were asked to promote
a clothing line..." Ranmaru said, he's obviously
not that happy.. xD
"Eehh? That's great!! I'm happy for you guys! ^.^"
Ringo said as he clapped his hands.
"And I was asked to be a director of some movie."
Camus said with a serious expression.
"Uwaaa everyone's making progress! Well
done, well done!! ^_^" Ringo clapped his hands again.
"What about you, Mikaze?" Ryuuya turned his
attention to Ai and asked him.
"Hmm? Well.. the truth is Saotome have already
told me that someone wants me to take the
leading role of a certain movie.. I'm not
prepared yet so I turned them down.
But they said they'll ask me again somtime."
Ai said.
"Y-You're not prepared? What do you mean, Ai-chan?"
Ringo asked Ai.
"It's just that.. umm.. it's hard to explain."
Ai said
The cat, Lily, suddenly came out from hiding
behind Ai and Lily. Which startled everyone
and caused them to turn their attention to it.
"Meooow~" The cat, Lily, meowed.
"C-CATS!!!!!" Ranmaru happily said in a loud voice.
"NOOOO CATS!" Camus said in a loud voice as well.
"EHH? What's wrong, Myu-chan? You're afraid
of cats?! But you've been in Ranran's house..
his house is FULL OF CATS. Why are you afraid
right now O.O?" Reiji asked Camus.
"Err.. it's just that.. this one is so up close
and it looks like the cat who scratched
my face before! >:@" Camus explained.
"HAHAHAHA Camus is afraid of cats LOL"
Ranmaru started rolling on the floor and laughed so hard.
"S-Stop it already, Kurosaki! Can't you see
there are other people around?! Also, I
prefer dogs than cats, that's why!!" Camus said
with an embarrassed face.
We couldn't help it, we laughed along as well.
We were having fun.. some fans of Ringo
& Ryuya asked to take a picture with us.
And of course some fans of Quartet Night too.
After spending a few hours with everyone,
we went home. We had so much fun..
At home..
"Lily.. thank you for today.. Also.. can I ask
if you can come with me again tomorrow?"
Ai thanked her as he smiled and asked.
"Tomorrow? Where are we going tomorrow
Ai-kun? Of couse, I'll always go with you."
Lily said.
"It's a secret! :D Good night, Lilies."
Ai said goodnight to Lily and the cat.
"Ah.. well :) goodnight to you as well."
Lily smiled as she said goodnight to Ai.
The next day..
it's Sunday.
February 20..
Lily was still sleeping.
But then Ai entered her room.
"Hello there, Lily-chan."
Ai greeted the cat and it meowed back to him :))
He sat on Lily's bed and
watched her sleeping face.
He gently ran his fingers
through her hair as well..
Suddenly, Lily woke up.
She turned around slowly
and slowly opened her eyes.
"A-Ai-kun..?" Lily muttered.
"Good morning, Lily." Ai said
with such a loving expression.
"G-Good morning..... WAAAAA!"
Lily got up suddenly because she
was surprised to see Ai so early.
"A-Ai-kun?! Why are you in my room?"
Lily said.
"I just thought I should wake you up.
It's already 9 in the morning.. but when
I saw your lovely sleeping face, I don't
know why but I just decided to sit
down and adore it. Why are you so
adorable? Can you explain why?
I don't seem to know the reason."
Ai said with a very warm, loving smile.
"A-Ai-kun...." Lily is embarrassed,
she covered her blushing face with
the pillow.
"What are you doing..?" Ai started
to hold the tip of the pillow, and tried
to remove it from covering Lily's face.
"Nooo... don't. I'm shy." Lily
said in an obvious embarrassed tone.
"S-Shy..?" Ai's eyes widened a little..
then he started to laugh softly.
"See you're laughing at me.."
Lily became even more embarrassed.
"Hahaha.. sorry. I'll wait for you outside.
We're going out today, remember?"
Ai patted Lily's head and stood up.
"Yeah, I haven't forgotten. I'll be
ready soon :))" Lily smiled.
"Okay :)" Ai smiled and
walked out of the room.
Lily prepared.. she dressed up beautifully this time.
She looked like a winter doll with her crystal-silver
colored eyes and hair.
"I wonder where we will go this time..?"
Lily wondered as she wore her shoe.
And when she walked outside,
she saw Ai sitting in front of the house.
And by the time Ai saw Lily, his eyes
widened and his mouth hang a little.
He found her even more beautiful.
"L-Lily.. So pretty...." Ai complimented her.
"Aww Ai-kun.. you're very handsome yourself,
do you know that?" Lily said while blushing.
"R-Really?! T-Thank you.... Let's go?"
Ai reached his arm out to Lily, like an escort to his muse.
"Okay.. but will you tell me.. where to?"
Lily asked him again with a smile.
"Nooo.. It should be a surprise."
Ai smiled and insisted for it to be a surprise.
"Well then.. okay :))" Lily smiled.
They went to the mall and watched some movies.
The two watched a movie called, "Loveless"
it was a movie where the leading character have
no feelings but eventually became happy and
learned to love when he met a certain girl.
The movie suits both Ai and Lily..
They enjoyed it.
After watching, Ai took her to
a flowery plain, with beautiful tall trees around.
There wasn't any people around at all.
The clear skies and the cool breeze of the wind
gives off a great calming aura all over the place.
The two sat down next to the tree.
"Lily.. please listen to my song." Ai said.
"O-Okay.." Lily smiled at him.
Then Ai began singing a "Happy Birthday" song.
It was so sweet and adorable. It was for Lily,
whose birthday is on February 20. Even Lily
forgot that it was her birthday today. That's why
she started to cry happy tears because of
what Ai did for her, he was the only person
who knows her birthday. And he never forgot it.
When Ai finished singing, he walked over to
Lily, wiped her happy tears away and hugged her.
"Happy birthday, Lily." Ai greeted her.
"Thank you so much.. Ai-kun.. Even I.. forgot
that today is my birthday. So.. thank you..
really. I'm really so happy right now! I'm
so lucky to have Ai-kun by my side.."
Lily thanked Ai and hugged him back.
"You're welcome, Lily. And I am also lucky
to have Lily by my side." Ai backed away
a little and pulled out a box from his pocket.
"Ai-kun..?" Lily wondered.
Ai went behind Lily and began putting on
a necklace on her neck. It was a crystal-like
piece of gem with the shape of a snow-flake.
It shined so brightly and it matches Lily's
hair and eye color perfectly.
"It looks so perfect on you" Ai said.
"A-Ai-kun.. how.. where did you get this?
This must be expensive.. but.. thank you.
I know turning you down would make you
sad. And I also love it. Thank you..
Thank you very much. Ai-kun."
Lily hugged Ai first, surprising Ai.
For Ai is always the one who hugs her,
touches her, and holds her first. So
when Lily was the one who hugged him first,
it gave him such a warm 'feeling' inside.
"Thank you.." Ai suddenly thanked Lily as well.
"Huh? What for? I should be the one thanking you."
Lily wondered.
"Because you give me those strange feelings.."
Ai muttered in a really low voice.
"I can't hear you, Ai-kun.." Lily said.
"Did you know? February 20 is my favorite day."
Ai said to Lily, changing the topic.
"What? Really? That's so.. sweet of you.."
Lily blushed.
"Your name is my favorite word.. Your birthday
is my favorite day. Because it's the day that
the closest person to me was born." Ai explained.
"Also.. Lily is my favorite human being. She's the
only one who can understand me and knows
the truth about me. That's why I only trust her."
Ai added as he ran his fingers through Lily's hair
that was being gently caressed by the wind.
"Ai-kun is the same for me. He's the only
one who knows everything about me.
Ai-kun is my favorite person as well.
.....You are my favorite person, Ai-kun."
Lily smiled back at Ai.
They hugged once again.
And they later went home.
The two said goodnight
to each other and went
to their own rooms.
"My heart.. is beating so fast."
Lily said to herself as she placed
her hand to her chest.
"Meooow~" The cat purred as
it jumped onto Lily's lap.
"Lily.. tell me.. why is my heart
beating so fast? Could it be I am in love?"
Lily asked the cat with a cute face.
"Meoow?~ :3" The cat just meowed back.
"I think I am in love with Ai---"
Lily was talking to her cat but then
Ai suddenly knocked on the door.
"A-Ai-kun?!" Lily was startled.
"I'm sorry, did I disturb you?
I just have something to say."
Ai said.
"N-No, it's okay, come in."
Lily tried to calm down for her
heart started beating fast again.
Ai entered the room and sat on the bed.
"W-What is it, Ai-kun?" Lily asked.
"I have some good news.." Ai stroked
the cat's body as it walked up to him.
"Eh? I wonder what is it?" Lily said.
"Lily.. Saotome have given you the
permission to enter Saotome Academy!
You can enter as my lyric writer!"
Ai said happily.
"R-REALLY?!" Lily jumped up from excitement,
and asked again. "For real?!"
"Yes!" Ai smiled at her and answered happily.
"Oh my gosh.. wow! I can't believe it.. how?
Also.. I'm not sure if I can write good lyrics
for you or Quartet Night, Ai-kun..." Lily said.
"I talked to Saotome about it. He thought
about it for weeks. And also.. don't worry
about it, Lily. I'm sure you can. I believe
in Lily. The academy can also enhance
your skill in writing lyrics so that's more
reason to go. So please? You would go,
right? For me. And you will become
my composer. No.. Quartet Night's composer."
Ai said and insisted on making Lily go.
"R-Really..? Then I'll go.. thank you so much,
again.. Ai-kun, you've done so much for me.
I really want to thank you. I'll do my best in
order to write great lyrics for you and Quartet Night."
Lily said and smiled so brightly.
"Yes! I'm happy! I think I am happy. Thank you!
I can finally be with you in the academy too."
Ai said. "Well.. that's all I had to say. See you tomorrow.
Good night, Lily." Ai smiled as he added.
"Y-Yeah.. Good night, Ai-kun." Lily said goodnight
as Ai walked out of the door. "Thank you so much.."
Lily muttered to herself.
"This is my favorite day from now on too."
Lily said.
