Sakura found herself awake with her head laid on one side of Kankurou and Ino on the other. She about screamed from the shock... but she held it in. It wasn't like Kankurou was ugly or anything he was actually pretty hot under all that junk he wears. Kankurou looked up at Sakura and she just waved slightly. "INO PIG GET YOUR ASS UP!"Sakura yelled in the girls ear as she jumped up into the nearest tree. "Sakura are you sure you don't want to rest more before we leave?"Kankurou asked as Sakura just shook her head no.
"Sakura........."Ino mumbled under her breath as she and Kankurou got behind Sakura. "Let's go if we go at the pace we did yesterday we can get to Konoha in maybe 10 hours....."Sakura said starting off as fast as she could with Ino struggling to keep up with Sakura's fast pace "Sakura! Wait up!"Ino shouted. "Ino I don't think it will do any good......"Kankurou said "There is the rest village....... We slacked off...."Sakura said "We have to go faster!"She added as her speed picked up.
"She is not gonna make it to Sand if she keeps up....."Kankurou said "Your right she won't......"Ino replied "The only reason we made it to Oto in a day and a half was because of Naruto........"Ino said "He kept running off and Sakura chased after him......." "Ino I can hear you!"Sakura shouted "I'm just telling the truth...."She said
"Why Naruto stays with her is a mystery to me....."Ino said as they passed through the village and continued on."We could have stopped Sakura......"Ino complained "We will stop at the next place I remember passing a small building that makes curry. "That's the one that's right up the rode isn't it?"Ino asked
"Is that it?"Kankurou asked pointing to a familiar sight to Sakura. "Ummm do we have to stop......."Sakura asked becoming frightened "C'mon!"Ino said pushing Sakura inside the shop. "Sakura-san!"Called an elderly women. "Hey......"Sakura said she gulped and said "Can I have 3 bowls of your Curry of life?"Sakura asked "AND ABOUT 15 CUPS OF WATER?"
"Sakura don't be rude!"Ino said Sakura gazed over at Ino and said "I'm not being rude yo "your gonna need it...." "Sakura-san you and your friends go sit down."She said "How old is that women.....?"Ino asked "Very.... old...."Sakura replied as she led Kankurou and Ino to the tables. "I'm really surprised she is still living....."She said as a young man brought the water and two pitchers. "Thank you....."Sakura said as the man walked off.
"Sakura have you been here before?"Ino asked "Umm well Me,Naruto,Neji,Lee and Tenten went on a mission that took place in the mountains over there."Sakura said "But that was around the time Sasuke left Konoha....." A child began to bring the plates and the young man from earlier brought the curry pot and poured some on each of their plates. "I-ta-da-ki-ma-su......"Sakura stuttered not really wanting to kill her unborn child by eating this even though she highly doubted that it would kill it.
They were handed spoons and then the severs walked off. "Nii-san was that Sakura-sama?"The child asked "I'm not sure."The older one said as they walked into the kitchen. "Before you eat I reccomend getting a cup of water ready......"Sakura said with a cup in one hand and a spoon full of curry in the other. She stuck the spoon in her mouth at the same time Kankurou and Ino did.
"Holy shit!!!!"Ino screeched as she poured the water down her throat Kankurou doing the same. "Wow...It's not as hot and spicy as it was last time......"Sakura said drinking a moderate amount of water. "You mean this used to be even spicier?!"Ino said almost doing a spit take. "Yes Lee-san loved this stuff........"Sakura said "But Neji he passed out just about every time he ate some......."She added
"That Lee-san you are talking about is he the same person that Gaara fought during the first round of the Chuunin exams?"Kankurou asked "Yes don't you remember you fought him during the last Chuunin exam and won......."Sakura said "Now don't break that poor old ladies heart so eat! I warned you guys not to come here.... but you didn't listen..."Sakura said as she continued to eat the curry on her plate.
"How dose she do that........?"Kankurou asked him self as he struggled to eat the curry. Drinking about a whole cup of water after each bite. Sakura finished her plate of curry. "Now what was those guys names..........?"Sakura thought aloud "It was when Naruto fought Raiga of the 7 shinobi swordsman he had a young child with him.... what was that child's name? OH IT WAS RANMARU! Now what was the older one's name.....hmmmmm was it Karashi....? Yeah it was Karashi and Ranmaru."
Sakura got up from the table. "Sansho-sama!"Sakura shouted back into the kitchen as the old women walked to where Sakura was. "Oh Sakura-san I'm so glad that you remember me."She said pulling Sakura in for a hug. "Ranmaru-san! Karashi-san!"Sakura called out as a young child about the age of 13 walked out and then a man a few years younger than Sakura. "So it was you....."Karashi said
"And I see you improved the Curry of Life's recipe."Sakura said. "Would you like for us to make you some to take to Lee-san and Gai-san?"Sansho asked "We are actually heading that way so that would be nice!"Sakura said as the two boys went to the back of the kitchen followed by Sansho. Sakura walked back to the table and saw that Ino and Kankurou were finished. "You should bring Neji some Sakura."Ino said laughing "I don't think Tenten would appreciate that.... Ino."Sakura replied
"That's right they got married not to long ago right?"Ino asked as Sakura nodded. "It was a cute wedding just like Hinata and Kiba's"Sakura said "Kankurou are you married?"Ino asked "No....."He replied "What about you?" Ino turned away and shook her head no. "I can see why that is the case....."He said "What about Gaara?"Sakura asked "No........ Me and Temari think that when he says he has a girl friend it is his gourd of sand (Credit for the Gaara girl friend joke goes to my awesome twin Z "9ZZ00ZZ9")
"Hahaha Kankurou your kidding right?"Sakura and Ino both asked as they tried not to laugh. "Sadly no........ He dose wear eyeliner you know..."Kankurou said "And you wear purple lipstick on your face....."Sakura said Kankurou began to blush slightly. "Awww leave him alone Sakura..... I think it is cute...."Ino said patting the top of Kankurou's head Sakura let out a laugh and got up out of the chair.
"C'mon guys let's go......"She said walking up to the counter which was an opening in the wall which gave a good view of the kitchen and Karashi stirring the curry as Ramaru handing him ingredients. "Sakura-san! Here are two large helpings of the curry for Gai-san and Lee-san that are on us."Sansho said as she handed them two boxes of curry and Sakura handed Sansho the money for her,Ino and Kankurou's plates.
"Good bye Sansho,Karashi and Ranmaru!"Sakura shouted as she left the shop. "Sakura you must have a stomach of steel after living with Naruto for so long...."Ino said. "That could be the case......"Sakura said as she looked towards Kankurou. "Umm Kankurou do you like children?"Sakura asked A shocked look appeared on Kankurou's face at the question he was asked. "Why do you ask that?"He asked her
"Umm well I rember when we were children and we pretty much just became ninja's and when you Temari,Gaara and your sensei came to Konoha. Konohamaru ran into you and you tried to hurt him......"Sakura said..... "Umm Gaara just really pissed me off that day.....so children are okay....."He said
"So If my daughter Kotomi stayed with us in Sand It would be okay?!"Sakura asked "Ummm I can't really tell you yes or no since It is not my desision it was Gaara that asked The Hokage if he could barrow a few medical ninja from Konoha...."Kankurou said "Uggggg poor Kotomi-chan.....Naruto was an idiot and probley did not clean at all for 3 weeks straight and let bugs infest the apartment.... Good thing I had Kotomi with me....."Sakura said
Looking ahead to see the Konoha gates. Kankurou started to dig into his pockets and pulled out a pass that said he had permission to go into Konoha. He showed it to the Guards as he, Sakura and Ino walked through the gates. "Hey Sakura-san,Ino-san Kankurou-sama."They said and waved as the team of three walked by. "I need to check on Tsunade-sama!"Sakura said dashing to the center of Konoha until she saw the Hokage's building.
Her pace slowed down a bit as she ran up stairs and more stairs until she reached the top floor. She walked into the main hallway and saw the door where Tsunade would usually be drinking her Sake or sleeping instead of doing her work. Sakura knocked on the door and heard the same voice call out "COME IN!!!!" "Tsunade-sama!"Sakura shouted as she ran in and started to check Tsunade out. "Sakura you were only gone for 3 weeks..... you didn't think I would be dead when you came back did you?!"Tsunade said
"How much have you been drinking?"Sakura asked her. Tsunade let out a heavy sigh and said "About a bottle a day." "Tsunade-sama! I told you your life is gonna decrease faster than it is now if you don't stop drinking so much........ Make it HALF a bottle a day if you have to drink."Sakura said "Sakura just go check on Kotomi and go to sand..... already."Tsunade said "I have Lee-san and Gai-sensei a present."Sakura said walking out of Tsunade's office. She began to walk down the steps where she Saw Lee. "Lee-san!"She shouted as she ran down the remainder of the steps.
"Lee-san! I have you a present!"Sakura shouted handing him one box of curry from the shop. "THIS IS THE CURRY OF LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"Lee shouted "I got Gai-sensei some to so give this to him."Sakura said as she handed Lee the other box of curry before he ran off. "Now time To go to...... Lee's house...."Sakura said lowering her head......"I foregot where he lives....."She said as she looked up to see Naruto. "Naruto!"Sakura shouted running up to him and kissing him on the lips.
"Where's Kotomi?"Sakura asked "She is at the acadamey.........."Naruto said "Ohh that's right they have a daycare for children who belong to ninja's now don't they...."Sakura said smiling. "Soo Sakura-chan what are you doing here so early? It hasn't even been a month yet...."Naruto said. "Well Me and Ino have been asked personally by the Kazekage to go to Sand."Sakura said
"What about Hinata?"Naruto asked "She is staying in Oto with Sasuke..."Sakura said "Who is escorting you to Sand?" "Kankurou..."Sakura replied as she walked past Naruto. "I have to go now...I'll write to you though and tell Kotomi that I love her!!!!"Sakura shouted as she ran back to where Kankurou and Ino stood waiting. "Tsunade-sama is okay,Naruto is okay,Kotomi is in the academy daycare and Lee-san and Gai-sensei have received the curry.... We can go now."Sakura said beginning to walk out of the village.
Sakura stopped where the entrance guards stood and said "IF ANY THING HAPPENS TO TSUNADE-SAMA OR THE VILLAGE SEND A HAWK TO THE KAZEKAGE IMMEDIATELY!"Sakura said as the men nodded and wrote down what she had said and seemed like one of the men walked off towards the building where they received international messages. "Now c'mon Sakura...."Ino said dragging Sakura out of the village with Kankurou behind them.
