Laying next to her I remembered all the girls I had done this way. Convinced them I was the good guy, made them believe I was Prince Charming, make them think I coulod fix everything that was broken inside them. For what? To get slept with? To make them cry when I turned out to be who I wasn't?
I knew what Amberlynn felt for me wasn't what I felt for her, which was nothing compared to her thinking I was Prince Charming who will ride in on a firey stallion and rush her off into the sunset.
I saw her the other day, Kheyenne. I knew she saw me to, but I couldn't go speak to her. Not after what I did. Knocked her up first time around and took off with my tail between my legs and never looked back. I created myself a whole new life just a couple towns over. I saw her, my daughter to. God she looked just like Kheyenne. Not a thing like me. That was good, she didn't deserve to look like me. She was too innocent, I was wild, reckless, but held down by insanity.
